"H-he was just someone I was hanging out with yesterday!" My voice cracked and was shaking.
As I said this, Ken looked up as he realized I was scared.
"Sorry, what's going on." He said in a serious tone.
"That doesn't pertain to you sir-"
"Is she not infected!?!" He quickly got up off the ground and got into the guards face.
The guard took no time to shove Ken back to the ground and point his rifle at him.
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE??" He shouted.
"You realize I can kill you right now, right?"
"Just because you have a deal with us doesn't mean you're above the law." He said as he started getting closer to him.
I ran in between Ken and the guard to stop him, and screamed, "STOP! HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!"
After a brief silence, I said, "You just wanted me… so leave him out of this."
He yanked at my cuffs, and as he walked by Ken, he whispered something.
"I'll be reporting this."
I couldn't really hear what he said, but Ken was rattled.
"WE HAD A DEAL!" Ken shouted as he turned around, but we had already walked out the door.
The guard shoved me in the back of a black futuristic van, and slammed the door.
The back had a dim light, and two bench seats across the sides. There was a wall separating the front driving seats and me, with a lightish blue coloured window panel at the top center. I walked over with a slouch, and looked through. The guard opened the passenger door and got in.
He then took his helmet off and set it on the ground. Now and I won't lie and say he wasn't good looking, but he does look pretty average. He had short wavy black hair with piercing dark blue eyes. He also had a strange marking on his face, that went from his right cheek to the top of his forehead. He had a pair of black diamond earrings in, or at least in his left ear, I couldn't see his right one.
He tapped the roof with two of his fingers and a digital sun visor came down. He then clicked something on it and a mirror appeared. He started adjusting his hair, when he noticed me looking through the window.
We stared at each other for a couple seconds, then both are faces became flush as he turned around and slammed a button that turned the window off. I guess that's why the window looked so weird, it was digital.
I sat down and put my face into my hands.
"What is going on…" As I said this, the back door opened and one of the last two guards came in.
She sat down opposite of me and looked me in the eyes.
"Never would I have thought we'd be arresting you…" She said as she slowly pulled her helmet off.
To my surprise, she looked oddly familiar to the first guard. She had long black silky hair, with dark blue diamond eyes. She also had the same weird marking on her face.
She set her helmet next to her and asked, "What are you starring at…"
She rested her face on her hand, "My beauty!" Her eyes sparkled.
"…" My face was dumbfounded. She wasn't ugly, I guess.
I heard the front door shut, and the vehicle start to move.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
She looked a little confused while answering, "The lab… obviously?"
"Between me and you…" She leaned in, so I did as well.
"You're screwed."
I gave her the Really look. That was more obvious that what she said earlier.
Before I could say anything else, I felt a weird piercing effect go through my body, and everything around me froze.
I could still slowly look side to side, but everything was definitely frozen. What was happening? I could feel myself losing focus, it was as if something was pushing my consciousness aside. Before I knew it, I had blacked out.
I awoke in a place I knew way too well, the void. Well, I should call it that since there really is nothing here. Though, something was different… the colour was no longer just purple, there was a green colour leaking in.
Before I get lost in thought, why did I randomly-
*and so, Lydia had re-awoken.*
Who's there- wait, Lydia!?
*She looked around her surroundings, and noticed something was different since she was last awake.*
WHAT IS GOING ON!! A new voice is in my head! Also, Lydia woke up??? She's not dead?
I started frantically looking around, and noticed that the green colour was seeping further and further in, while another purple colour had started coming in as well. The purple looked just like the alien's shade of purple… did he have something to do with this?
*Lydia jumped up and started attacking the female guard that was with her.*
*Though, this wasn't a great idea on her part.*
Wait, if Lydia's awake… then what about me!?
*Lydia's body started pulsing purple… she was transforming.*
Okay who is this? CAN YOU HEAR ME?? Why is she narrating what's happening?
*There was a voice coming from within Lydia, wondering if she was audible-*
*Wait, what?*
What do you mean 'wait what…' Also I was talking to you, not Lydia-
Before I could finish, tentacles started violently breaching the wall, creating larger holes and the green mist grew larger. The breach started causing shock waves, and I lost balance and plummeted into the water.
Luckily though, I managed to grab onto something… I couldn't see what, but I was keeping myself afloat as the water started getting worse.
*Why can I hear-*
*LYDIA YOU IMBECILE!!*

What was happening? Last I heard was that she started attacking-
Oh.
The waves started getting worse and worse, I barely could keep my head above the water. The tentacles were tearing there way in, but the wall was staying strong keeping them from getting too far in…
*For crying out loud!*
*You were suppose to make the story more interesting, not RUIN IT!*
Was she talki blef caugh-
I was starting to sink, I lost grip of whatever I was holding onto, and I was unsure if I'd survive.
*and it was just getting good…* She sounded disappointed.
*Now I have to let her narrate again...*
What?-
Before I knew it, I instantly woke up and started coughing violently. It was such a weird feeling… there was no water in my lungs, but they thought there was as I had just been mentally drowning.
"Whoa whoa, calm down." Someone said as he started patting me on the back.
"Swallow some spit or somin?"
I looked up and saw a man wearing the typical white lab coat, and messy hair. He had a pair of what looked to be goggles lifted on his head, and a small unkept beard… how long has he been here?
I looked around and realized I was in a dark padded room, locked in a giant chair. I looked at my arms and realized they were locked to the armrests, and my legs were also locked down. My arm looked horrible, it looked like I had been badly scared, but the scars were purple, as if they had been repaired by the alien.
I turned my attention to the lab guy and screamed, "WHERE AM I?!"
"I don't think I can tell you exactly where… but you're at the Lunar Labs." He responded as he backed up, and said it like he was proud of the place.
"WHY?"
"I-I don't know… I just work here, and was told to keep an eye on you…"
"You really caused a scene back there." He signaled behind himself.
I looked around once more… I was locked in a chair, in a completely different area than where I was before.
How did I get here? Also, what just happened? I've never heard a voice while in the void… but it sounded like she was narrating Lydia-
Wait… is Lydia still alive!?
