Chapter 182: Myriad Phenomena City—Before the Nirvana Monument!

"We also planned to head to the core region of the Ancient Battlefield," Su Kui said with a bitter smile, "but after that incident, we've just been fleeing…"

Xiao Diao chuckled. "We're going to the core too. If you want, you can come with us."

Lin Dong and Xiao Yan both gave him strange looks.

Xiao Diao inviting someone along? That was definitely a rare sight.

Su Kui's trio also looked a bit stunned. They glanced at Xiao Diao, then at Lin Fan.

"If we follow you, we're afraid we might drag you down," Su Kui said hesitantly.

Lin Fan looked at Xiao Diao and quickly understood what he was thinking. He smiled and said,

"People like the ones just now aren't worth worrying about. You're not planning to get stopped outside Myriad Phenomena City, are you?

Of course, only if you trust us."

After a moment's thought, Su Kui glanced at Su Rou and gritted his teeth.

"Since Brother Lin Fan said so… we'll follow. Sorry for the trouble."

"Thank you, Big Brother Lin Fan!"

Su Rou's delicate face lit up with joy as her large eyes sparkled with sincere gratitude.

Lin Dong then asked,

"By the way, who were those people who attacked you earlier? We're not afraid of them, but it's best to know in advance."

"They were from the Windcloud Dynasty…"

Su Kui immediately recounted the events that led to their current situation.

"Hmph, these so-called super dynasties always act so high and mighty. They could use a wake-up call," Lin Fan said with a calm smile.

Xiao Diao and Xiao Yan both looked indifferent, but Lin Dong seemed a bit more serious.

With no further objections, the group set off again, heading toward Myriad Phenomena City.

Myriad Phenomena City lay close to the core region of the Ancient Battlefield.

As one of the few cities that led directly into the core, it was incredibly vast and prosperous—almost unbelievably so.

The city itself spanned an entire mountain range.

Unlike many other chaotic cities in the Ancient Battlefield, Myriad Phenomena City had rules and order, maintained by forces dispatched from super sects, not any one dynasty.

After another half-day of travel, Lin Fan's group finally arrived at the outskirts of the city.

Above the gates, the skies were filled with cultivators arriving from all directions, forming a dense crowd.

"Brother Lin Fan," Su Kui said, "flight is forbidden above Myriad Phenomena City. Everyone must enter through the main gate. This place is guarded by super sects, and all must obey the rules."

He had been here before, but they'd been forced to leave when Su Rou's spiritual seal drew the attention of the Windcloud Dynasty.

"I see. Then let's go through the main gate," Lin Fan nodded. He wasn't one to go out of his way to cause trouble.

They landed and walked toward the city entrance.

"Oh, right—Brother Lin Fan, this is your first time here, right?

You and your companions should qualify for the Nirvana Ranking, so your priority should be to obtain your Nirvana Seal," Su Kui added.

"Nirvana Seal?" Lin Dong looked intrigued.

"It's basically your entry ticket to the final stage of the Hundred Dynasty War," Su Kui explained.

"Without a Nirvana Seal, you can't participate."

"Normally, reaching the Two Yuan Nirvana stage is enough to qualify, though the seals come in three tiers—Heaven, Earth, and Mortal.

Mine's just a basic Mortal-tier one."

He opened his palm, revealing a faintly glowing, tower-shaped gray symbol hovering above it.

Su Kui went on to explain the tier system and the process of obtaining the Nirvana Seal.

"In that case, let's head to the Nirvana Monument," Lin Fan said with a smile.

Su Kui nodded and led the way into the city.

At the city center stood a massive elevated plaza, nearly a hundred meters high, with a grand staircase lined with cultivators.

In the plaza's heart stood a towering golden monument, as massive as a mountain.

Golden light radiated from its surface, forming ring-shaped halos that glowed around it, making it the most dazzling landmark in the entire city.

"So that's… the Nirvana Monument…"

Lin Dong murmured in awe, licking his lips.

Lin Fan also looked up at the monument. It was covered in countless names—those who had passed the test and earned their seals.

At that moment, many cultivators had gathered before the monument, all preparing to take the test.

After all, anyone wanting to participate in the Hundred Dynasty War had to have a Nirvana Seal.

Lin Fan's group climbed the stairs and found a spot near the front with a good view.

"No wonder this place is called a super city… The number of strong cultivators here is insane. Looks like many elites from the Ancient Battlefield have gathered here,"

Xiao Diao said as he scanned the crowd.

Lin Dong and the others nodded in agreement.

The attention of the crowd, however, was focused on three groups near the front.

To the left stood a team of a dozen cultivators, led by a man in silver robes with a wild grin.

In the center was a woman in snowy white robes, breathtakingly beautiful but wrapped in an icy aura that kept others at bay.

To the right stood a group in mixed attire, led by a man in gray with hands clasped behind his back. His expression was calm, deep as a still lake.

"The group on the left is from the Silverwood Dynasty, a high-tier dynasty.

The leader is Yin Sen, peak of the Three Yuan Nirvana stage," Su Kui explained.

"That white-robed woman is Mu Hanyue. She's backed by a super dynasty."

"As for the group on the right, they're a joint force from several dynasties.

The man in front is Chang Ling—he once wiped out an entire high-tier dynasty single-handedly."

Lin Dong's expression turned serious as he observed the three groups.

Lin Fan listened quietly and nodded, but he didn't seem particularly bothered.

As they conversed, Yin Sen stepped up to the Nirvana Monument and left his name—ranking 9th in the Earth Tier.

Mu Hanyue followed, placing 8th in the Earth Tier.

Then came Chang Ling—5th place in the Earth Tier!

The crowd erupted with murmurs of awe.

"Let's go try it too,"

Lin Fan said with a calm smile.

With that, he and his group strode forward toward the Nirvana Monument.
