Chapter 1 - "Echoes of Cheers in the Ashes of the Past"

In every expanding artery of the cosmos, energy flowed like the blood of life, imbuing beings with unique abilities. Yet, its most sublime manifestation was found in the arenas of competition, where it transformed into fuel for a unifying cosmic passion: football, the game that captivated the hearts of the entire galaxy. Twenty years ago, this cosmic athletic fabric was torn by an unprecedented catastrophe. A mysterious earthquake struck the heart of planet Earth, the cradle of this noble sport. In a shocking moment, the energy that lent magic to the feet of Earth's legends evaporated, and its shining heroes became mere specters in the annals of time. All that remained was a profound silence and dust, shrouding the place like a shroud over a bygone golden era.

An electric hum pierced the silence of the final minute. A human roar swelled from the packed stands, a symphony of excitement and anticipation. The booming voice of the commentator cut through the din: "What madness! One minute separates us from the end, and the Earth team, against all predictions, is still fighting bravely! It's a draw between the giants of Earth and the Knights of Klimatcho!"

A fleeting lightning bolt, embodied by Leonardo, brilliantly retrieved the ball like a swooping eagle, streaking across the green rectangle like a meteor. A silken pass cut through the tightly packed defenses, reaching Ulrich, who struck it with immense power, a space-crossing missile heading towards Raiden. A masterful touch from Raiden's foot, like a cunning fox, cunningly changed its trajectory, sending it back to Leonardo, who weaved past his opponents with the agility of wind, flowing among them like a fleeting shadow towards the goal. Here, Leonardo summoned the essence of his latent energy, a faint aura enveloping his body, and his speed doubled like rocket propulsion. He struck the ball with steel-like focus, an unstoppable ground-skimming projectile. But suddenly... the ball veered strangely off course, as if an invisible force had pulled it away. And at that very moment, the heart of the stadium violently tore open, and a giant sand collapse swallowed everything in its path—walls, seats, and players. Leonardo, Raiden, and Ulrich sprinted at full speed towards safety, but before they could reach it... a tremendous boom shook the surroundings. BOOOOM!

Leonardo jolted awake from his bed, startled, sweat pouring profusely. A muffled cry escaped his lips, an echo of painful memories from twenty years ago, when he was a star illuminating the galactic sky.

A man with a worried expression rushed to him: "Are you alright, Leonardo?"

"Lex?" Leonardo mumbled faintly, "No... it's just memories of the past."

Lex gently patted his shoulder: "Don't worry, my friend, everything will be fine. Our plans will succeed, trust me."

Leonardo and his friend Lex were soaring through the night sky aboard an elegant aircraft, heading towards a planet that held fading memories and hanging hopes: Planet Earth...

On the surface of the pale blue planet, amidst the remnants of deserted stadiums buffeted by winds, a desperate cry pierced the quiet.

"Odysseus, I've told you a million times! There are no football teams here anymore." A rough voice carried a tone of despair.

"Impossible, Coach Hawashi! Please, gather some players for me. I want to participate in the Intergalactic Cup!" The boy pleaded with eyes burning with unyielding determination.

Mr. Hawashi shook his head sadly: "No, my boy, I told you. I'm no longer a coach, and no one plays football here anymore. You can only watch the star matches from other planets on TV and cheer."

Odysseus sped off on his elegant skateboard, a heavy silence matching the weight of sadness in his heart. I really want to participate in the Cup... but no one plays here anymore. Everyone just watches strangers compete. This isn't fair... After that cursed explosion twenty years ago, everything changed.

As he traversed a forest of yellow leaves, a unique sight caught his attention. A girl was dancing with a ball among the ancient trees, her movements fluid and her speed fleeting like a phantom. Odysseus was captivated by her skill and rushed towards her with wild curiosity.

"Hey, girl!" he called out loudly.

The girl stopped playing and looked at him sharply: "What? Who are you? It's rude to speak without introducing yourself."

Odysseus stammered: "Sorry... I'm Odysseus. And you?"

"My name is Stella," she replied coolly.

"Do you like football?" Odysseus asked with a hesitant smile.

"Of course! Who doesn't?" Stella answered with surprising enthusiasm.

"I play football too," Odysseus said proudly.

"Really?" Surprise registered on Stella's face.

"Yes... Do... do... do you want to train with me?"

She hesitated for a moment then replied: "Okay... I agree."

Odysseus and Stella began passing the ball, a duet among the golden tree trunks. Precise passes, swift dribbles, a shared passion glowing between them.

After hours of enjoyable play, Stella said: "Well, I think it's time for me to go home. Goodbye, Odysseus."

"Goodbye," Odysseus replied with a wide smile.

But after a few minutes, Odysseus decided to follow her, a bold idea crossing his mind. He sped after her on his skateboard and quickly caught up. "Wait, Stella!"

Stella turned with curiosity: "What? Did you come to confess your love?"

Odysseus stammered shyly: "What? No, I don't want to ask you that."

"Then what?"

"Do you want to form a team and join the Intergalactic Cup tournament?" Odysseus said in a serious tone full of hope.

Stella burst out laughing: "What? Of course you're joking!"

Odysseus looked directly into her eyes with firm resolve: "No, I'm not joking. Do you want to form the team?"

Stella tried to play along, still thinking he was joking: "Oh well... I'll join your team."

"That's great! Fantastic!" Odysseus exclaimed with overwhelming joy.

Stella chuckled with slight nervousness, beginning to realize he might be serious.

"Okay... we have to meet here again tomorrow!" Odysseus said enthusiastically.

"Of course, why not? You're good at football; you can help me intensify my training," Stella replied with a smile that began to lose its mocking edge.

In a quiet place surrounded by tall trees with colorful leaves like a surreal painting, inside a large house with a spiritual ambiance, a boy sat before a woman of serene beauty and piercing eyes. The woman gently placed her hand on the boy's head, reading the threads of his past and future.

The boy, Gorin, eagerly awaited her words, but suddenly Odysseus burst into the scene with his usual vivacity, altering the tranquil atmosphere.

"Gorin, my friend! Did you come again for your mother to read your future?" Odysseus shouted as he ran towards his friend.

Gorin sighed in annoyance: "Yes, and you ruined it."

"Really? Why don't you try to live in the moment without knowing what it will be like?" Odysseus asked innocently.

"I have my reasons," Gorin answered seriously.

Odysseus's mother, Katara, smiled affectionately: "Well, well. Why don't you two go play? I have some work to do."

"Okay, Mom, Gorin and I are going upstairs," Odysseus said, pulling his friend.

"Goodbye, Aunt Katara," Gorin said politely.

In a small, modest house, a man sat meticulously cleaning the place. Suddenly, Leonardo entered, carrying on his shoulders the burden of the past and the hopes for the future.

The man slowly raised his head: "There you are. You took a long time."

Leonardo replied in a sad tone: "Of course, Raiden... twenty years is not a short time."

Raiden's features froze for a moment: "Leonardo?"

Leonardo smiled bitterly: "I see you love your work making colorful boxes, brother."

Raiden's gaze hardened: "Did I have another choice? So, what do you want me to give you?"

Leonardo was surprised by the cold reception: "What? Have you changed? Can't you recognize your brother?"

Raiden replied stiffly: "In the past, I had a brother... but he disappeared."

"What do you mean? But I'm here now!" Leonardo protested in shock.

"But you left when everyone needed you most. I needed you. We were supposed to help each other as brothers, but you left. And now... please leave this place."

Leonardo looked at his brother with a desperate gaze full of regret, and turned to leave with a heavy heart.

Suddenly, a boy arrived on a large bicycle and impulsively collided with Leonardo.

"Are you Leonardo? Are you my uncle?" the boy asked with wide eyes.

"That's right. And you're Ricky?" Leonardo replied with a faint smile.

"Yes!"

"Well then, I have to go now. Goodbye, Ricky."

"Goodbye, Uncle!"

Leonardo left the place burdened with painful memories and headed to President Cornelia's office, seeking a lost glimmer of hope. But her words were as hard as stone, telling him there was no hope for football to return to the surface of Planet Earth, and that he was wasting his time on false dreams.

In the small cafe run by Masaki, Gorin's mother, Odysseus and Gorin sat eagerly watching an exciting match in the Intergalactic Football League, a football clash between the Yukashin Wolves and the Harrishia Serpents.

Their eyes were glued to the screen, and their hearts beat with excitement for the skills of Tetsu, the captain of the Yukashin team, the player they considered a hero. Shouts of admiration and encouragement spontaneously erupted from them in unison.

After the thrilling match ended, each returned home, carrying within them a spark of hope and inspiration.

The next morning, Odysseus set off for Alpha Forest, hoping to meet Stella. And as he expected, he found her there, skillfully playing with the ball among the trees.

"Hello, Stella! Are you ready to train?" Odysseus called out with a bright smile.

"Oh, Odysseus! Welcome. Of course, let's find a suitable place," Stella replied enthusiastically.

The two friends walked side-by-side in the enchanting forest, searching for an open space to practice their shared passion. And suddenly, their steps froze before an unexpected sight. The legendary player Leonardo was training alone, his movements carrying the scent of the past and a talent untarnished by time.

Stella whispered in awe: "I can't believe it... It's... it's the hero Leonardo!"

Odysseus rushed towards him impulsively: "Sorry to interrupt your training, sir, but I have a request."

Leonardo raised an eyebrow in surprise: "A request?"

"Yes! Can you play a small match with us?"

Stella ran to Odysseus and lightly hit him on the shoulder: "You're too impulsive, boy! Twenty years have passed, maybe he can't play anymore!"

Leonardo chuckled warmly: "Alright, I agree. I'll be your opponent."

Odysseus enthusiastically explained the rules and set the goal between two large trees.

"I understand. Let's begin then," Leonardo said with a slight challenging look.

Stella looked at Leonardo with admiration mixed with doubt: What a nice person... Well, we have the advantage, two against one.

The match began, and Odysseus smoothly passed the ball to Stella. But Leonardo intercepted the ball with astonishing skill and kicked it with quiet power, sending it into the goal.

Odysseus looked at Leonardo with wide eyes of admiration: Wow... this is the true power of professionals!

Stella tried to keep up with the legend, but she couldn't. Leonardo scored seven consecutive goals with his distinctive playing style; each goal was a lesson in the art of football.

Suddenly, Odysseus advanced towards Leonardo, his eyes fixed on his rapid movements. With extraordinary concentration, the boy managed to read the legend's moves, skillfully stealing the ball with surprising skill, then striking it with power to settle into the net.

Odysseus and Stella shouted in unison, filled with joy: "We did it!"

They stopped to catch their breath and drink water. Leonardo stood astonished by Odysseus's clever move: "How did you do that? You're truly amazing!"

Odysseus smiled shyly: "Thank you, sir, that makes me happy."

"Well, I think I have to go now," Leonardo said in a friendly tone.

"Really?" Stella asked with slight disappointment.

"But I'll give you my phone number. Call me if you need anything," Leonardo handed a small piece of paper to Odysseus.

Odysseus held the paper, his eyes widening in surprise when he saw the number. It was the number of the best player to ever grace the surface of this forgotten planet.

"Goodbye!" Leonardo bid them farewell with a mysterious smile, leaving behind an aura of renewed hope.

Odysseus and Stella looked up at the clear blue sky, their eyes burning with a new spark.

Odysseus shouted with wild enthusiasm: "Let's go!"

Stella replied with a voice full of determination: "Yes!"

At that moment, Odysseus and Stella were not just two young people dreaming of playing football. They were the first spark for the return of a flame that was almost extinguished, the seed of hope that would grow in barren land, and perhaps... the beginning of Planet Earth's return to the cosmic competitive arena. But the road ahead was long and arduous, full of challenges and doubts, and the secrets left by that mysterious explosion twenty years ago still cast their heavy shadow over everything. Will they succeed in their impossible mission? And will the echoes of cheers once again pierce the silence of the deserted stadiums? The coming days will tell.
