Blackbeard suddenly raised his head, shouting toward the Marines stationed on the bay:
"Oi, Navy! You just gonna sit there and watch? If you help me kill this old man Whitebeard right now, I'll continue serving as one of your Shichibukai! What do you say?"
Fleet Admiral Sengoku looked down coldly. "Sorry, Blackbeard. You no longer hold any value."
"Zehahaha… am I worthless now?" Teach sneered, then turned his gaze toward Whitebeard.
"Pops, are you really going to kill me here? Why not let me fight at your side? Together, we could crush Marineford!"
Whitebeard's expression remained unreadable. "Are those your last words, Teach?"
"Zehahahaha! Nobody's willing to accept me anymore? What a failure!" Blackbeard laughed wildly, then slammed both hands onto the ground.
"In that case… then let this entire island be buried with me!"
"Kurouzu Dai Ankou!! (Dark Point)"
From his palm, endless darkness erupted, spreading rapidly across the battlefield. It consumed the bay, slithering up the walls, even reaching toward the fortress of Marineford itself.
"Zehahahaha! Witness the true terror of darkness!!" Blackbeard roared as the Yami Yami no Mi devoured everything in sight.

"This guy… what is he planning?!" Sengoku's instincts screamed danger. He turned sharply to the Admirals.
"Kuzan! Sakazuki! Borsalino! Stay sharp. If Blackbeard makes the slightest move, strike together and end him!"
"Pops, what is that bastard Teach trying to do?" Marco the Phoenix flew to Whitebeard's side, face grim.
"…I don't know," Whitebeard muttered, brows furrowed. "But I have a bad feeling."
He clenched his massive fist, the Gura Gura no Mi's quake force building, and unleashed a shockwave across the battlefield.

The quake-force smashed into Blackbeard, blood spraying from his mouth. Yet Teach's hands pressed firmly against the earth, refusing to move.
"Zehahaha…" He coughed, then smiled viciously. "Don't worry, Pops. No matter how hard you hit me, you can't kill me. If I can't live… then I'll make sure the world remembers my funeral—the grandest one of all!"
"Has Blackbeard… gone insane?" Ace scowled, flames igniting around his fist.
"Hiken!! (Fire Fist!)"
The blazing column engulfed Teach, but the fire was devoured instantly by the darkness clinging to his body.
"Uncle… I have a bad feeling about this. We need to take him out now!" Ace shouted to Whitebeard.
"…Alright!" Whitebeard raised his weapon and roared: "My sons! Target Teach!! Those with long-range attacks—fire with me!!"
He swung his fist, quake energy crackling.
"Shattering the Heavens and Earth!!"
"Phoenix Brand!!" Marco's blue flames surged forth.
"Roseo Colonnade!!" Vista's swords slashed out in a whirlwind.
"Entei!! (Flame Emperor!)" Ace's massive fireball roared toward Teach.
The combined might of Whitebeard, Ace, Marco, and the division commanders rained down—a barrage no one in the world could withstand.
Yet in that instant, Blackbeard's remaining crew stepped forward.
"Oh no you don't! If you want to hit our captain, you'll have to go through us first!"
Poison Q, Laffitte, Van Augur, and Burgess threw themselves into the onslaught, shielding their captain with their own bodies.
"Everyone!!" Blackbeard's eyes widened as his crewmates were swallowed by the catastrophic attacks.
