"What do you want me to do, exactly?" Finn asked, almost immediately after her words left her lips. He needed to know now. Like really—really bad.
Sophia leaned forward, eyes sparkling with cruelty. "I want you to grovel. Bow before me and beg like you mean it. Tell me how badly you need this staff from me."
Finn collapsed to his knees without hesitation. His forehead nearly hit the mud as he bowed, arms spread wide as if pleading before an emperor.
"Please allow us to borrow the staff—oh, my great highness!" he cried, voice cracking. "Please, I am not worthy of even falling before you like this. Forgive me! Please, I beg you! Allow us to take this and we will be done with it quickly—out of your beautiful, perfect hair!"
He shouted so loudly, half the battlefield turned their heads. A silence rippled across the nearby chaos as people stopped mid-fight to witness Finn's pathetic display.
