Chapter 5 - Making My Resolve

Time skip---- 15 years

It had been some time since Lexeus had been born and reincarnated into the world of gods and monsters. Now in the form of a 15 year old teen, Lexeus had finally recovered from the confusion of his rebirth, and was now excitingly experimenting on the ability's his divine heritage currently gave Him. . . . . . Only to be disappointed when his attempts to summon his Divine authority was met with complete and absolute failure. Normally any other being would be panicked by know, they would be absolutely horrified by the fact that they were sent to such a dangerous world and it would turn out to be that they were not the chosen one, that they wouldn't immediately become a revered important being at the beginning of their journey. But not Lexeus," 4995, 4996, 4997, 4998, 4999, 5000." Lexeus counted as sweat dripped as the the 500 ton boulder digged into his back and his struggle for strength continued. Lexeus had taken the path of hard grit, sweat, and blood. If he couldn't weild the power of flames he'd train his soul and mind to perfection, if he couldn't influence the crust of the earth or the winds in the sky then he would break his body down and rebuild it back up into a weapon of destruction. Lexeus had spent the entirety of his former life shackled by his weakness but here where he actually had the chance for strength and power? In the midst of a coming of a new age, Lexeus would Not be left behind, before he died he had made a promise a declaration to his soul and he'd jump into the PIT now if a repeat of his former life every reared it's ugly head.

*swish*

*chop*

Lexeus breathed calmly with each flow of the tides that lapped against the island shore, his mind ever so more focused now that he had moved on to weapon training. " Your the first of us to ever try a spear" Hera replied as she watched her nephew with his 6ft 1 frame thrusted and slashed the dummy in front of him. "Hmph" Lexeus scoffed. " They only see the spear as a primitive weapon because they know not how to use it." He replied with a indignant tone.

" The spear has longer reach and much more power than most swords, it can been thrown, used to slash like a sword, peirce, block, parry, and works marvelously with a sheild." Lexeus exclaimed, his liking to the weapon showing greatly. Hera laughed at her nephew's quick defense of one of his favorite weapons. " Well now that you explained its properties so throughly to me the spear might not be as barbaric as I thought it was." Hera replied now amused.

" The spear is a kings weapon, easy to learn very hard to master." Lexeus now that he has made his point returned his training striking with all his might and intent, blasting through waves and bringing gust of winds from the shear force of his strikes.

Hera looked on sadly at her nephew, she admired his drive and will to get stronger to never be a burden to his father, but she could still see the look of frustration he had when any attempts to find his domain was proving to be useless. She could see the envy he had when her brother Poseiden called a storm or Zeus flew with the winds. Hera sighed and focused on listing down potential deities who could help in the escape from her blasted father's Divine thugs. They tried many times to find a place free from their their fathers influence and so far the search for a true home wasn't going very well. Hera looked at her sweat covered nephew one last time sighed and left to go discuss her findings with Hestia.

But unknown to both Hera and Lexeus deep inside his spirit the Divine essence in his body began to strengthen at a increasingly fast past. His spear forms once powerful but clumsy started to sharpen with precision and clarity even the wooden spear itself made from the trees of the divine dryads that once nurse him and the metal point given by his great grandmother GAIA herself began to strengthen slowly growing stronger, slowly Evolving along with Lexeus's resolve.
