"Alright, first things first. I want you two to pretend I am from your tribe. I will just say that I am a waterbender from the southern water tribe alright?" Akira said.
"Why would you do that?" Katara asked but Sokka immediately got it.
"Katara, how do you think the northern water tribe would react if they saw a firebender with us? They would immediately mistrust him and propably ban him from learning waterbending from them" Sokka said.
Smart bastard. Even if he looks dumb he has some brains when it comes to tactical thinking.
"Exactly, just don't mention anything about me being from the fire nation or me being a firebender" Akira said as he changed his black clothes to clothes resembling the style of water tribe clothes.
His clothes were white, made out from the fur of a snow leopard with pale grey spots covering it.
It was his favorite piece of his clothes collection from the water tribe.
"Woah, where did you get these chlothes?" Sokka asked amazed at the craftsmanship.
"Oh I had a hobby of collecting nice clothes from all nations that looked nice" Akira answered and enjoyed the warmth that these clothes gave him.
He also added a neclace with the long white claws of the leopard.
With all this he looked like a true warrior of the water tribe. He also took out his twin daggers he got from Azulon at his birthday and fastened them to his belt.
With his chi enhanced agility he would be a deadly assassin even without bending.
"Look I really don't want to complain but could Appa fly a little higher?" Sokka asked.
"Why don't we all climb on your back, then you can fly us to the north pole" Aang said pissed off.
"I could create an Ice plattform where Appa could rest?" Akira suggested.
"No need, Appa still can go on" Aang said.
"Where are we even flying, there is nothing out here, only water and ice" Sokka said.
As if on cue a waterwave shot up in front of them and froze.
Aang screamed in suprise and Appa flew up to evade the ice spike but in front of them more ice spikes shot up slowly encasing them in ice.
Then small ships appeared with warriors of the northern water tribe.
"We found it, those are ships from the northern water tribe!" Katara said and they greeted the soliders, waving at them.
As soon as they explained who they where and why they are here especially after they had introduced Aang the avatar.
They welcomed them warmly and showed them the way to their giant city.
There was a giant ice wall surrounding the whole city about twenty metres high and equally thick.
Watchtowers were errected along the walls with guards on the watchout for any kind of danger.
Everything was built out of ice and snow, it was truly fascinating to watch.
Waterbenders crated a tunnel in the giant wall for them to enter.
The city was even more awesome than the giant wall.
The series already showed what a beautiful city this was but seing it in person was just so much more awesome.
Appa slowly followed a boat to the centre of the city to the great palace with them taking in as much of the city as they could.
"This is so cool here!" Akira said.
"It's really a beautiful city" Katara said.
At that moment princess Yues boat passed them and she looked at Akira with...curiosity?
Well and Sokka was drooling on his pants at the sight of Yue.
Akira could really understand Sokka, Yue truly was a beautiful girl.
Noir was also looking around in curiosity and jumped un his head to see better.
"Hey don't get to full of yourself" Akira said and gently put him down.
Noir then grew to the size of a normal panther and threw him down, licking his face.
"Hahahaha alright, I forgive you" Akira said and petted Noir who placed his head on his legs and began purring.
"Aww Noir is really cute" Katara said and also petted him.
But even when she did that Akira noticed the stolen glances at him.
She immediately looked away the moment he looked at her.
He was originally intending not to break Aangs heart by dating her but fuck it. He also remembered how he failed to control the avatar state because of his love to Katara...in a sense he was just helping him.
He looked in her deep blue eyes and somehow felt drawn to them. He felt this way before but was ignoring it because of Aang but now he decided it wasn't worth it.
If Aang failed his duty as the avatar he would just kill Ozai himself and reclaim the throne of the fire nation...althrough he didn't really want that.
He really wasn't an expert when it came to girls, even in his last life he messed everything up so he thought about how he could win her over.
Whatever he would think about it later, for now there was a party for them.
Chief Arnock welcomed them warmly.
"Welcome my brothers and sisters, it must have been a hard journey right?" he asked "come on I have prepared a feast in your honour"
"A feast in our honour?" Sokka asked.
"Oh yes, it's a great honour for us to meet the new avatar" chif Arnook said and showed them the way to the main celebration hall.
They were even allowed to sit besides chief Arnook as his guests of honour.
There they sat down and Akira looked at the many dishes containing a wide variety of fish.
"Tonight we celebrate the arrival of our brothers and our sister from the southern water tribe" Chief Arnook said standing up "and they brought someone very special with them, someone who we thought had left this world long ago, the Avatar!"
Everyone clapped and Aang winked while laughing.
Chief Arnook waited until the applause had died down until he continued his speech.
"We also celebrate the 16th birthday of my daughter. Princess Yue is now of marrying age" he said.
"Thank you father. May the great spirits of the moon and ocean watch over us during those troubled times" she said and sat down besides Sokka.
"And now master Pakku will give us a show demonstrating his waterbending with his students" chief Arnook said and an old man and two students started a show with waterbending.
Aang and Katara were absolutely thrilled and clapped loudly but for Akira the only really difficult part was moving in sync. Even he could do this and he teached himself waterbending.
He then grinned as Sokka began to talk to princess Yue.
"Hey watch your brother. This is going to be interesting" Akira said to Katara who just looked at him confused.
Akira just pointed at Princess Yue and said "he has been eying this girl since we arrived here" he grinned.
Katara looked at the way Sokka tried to impress by telling princess yue that he is also a prince of the south wich left them bouth laughing.
"You a prince? Prince of what?" Katara mocked.
"Mabye the prince of clowns?" Akira suggested.
"You...I am having a conversation here" Sokka said.
"Oh forgive us oh great prince Sokka" Akira moked and he and Katara bowed to Sokka both of thwm struggling to hold in their laughter.
"You were right, this is really funny" Katara said and eyed Sokka and Yue.
"I've been curious for a while now, why is your hair white?" princess Yue asked Akira.
"Oh this? It was weird...all of a sudden I woke up in the spirit world and met a giant turtle. He said he choses me as his champion and has granted me the ability to bend water" Akira said casually "even now I don't really understand what exactly happend and why but this waterbending ability is pretty neat" Akira said and levitated a block of ice around his finger.
"So it was influenced by a spirit?" princess Yue asked.
"Yes you could say that. Why are your hairs also white?" Akira asked.
"Oh this happened when the spirit of the moon saved my life when I was very sick just after I was born. My father begged the spirit to save me and the spirits answered turning my hair white" princess Yue explained.
"I am Akira by the way" he said and winked to her leaving her giggling.
Sokka just glared at Akira and continued with his 'I am so awesome' speech.
After the show of master Pakku ended Akira went with Aang to get introduced to master Pakku.
"These are your new pupils, Avatar Aang and Akira" chief Arnook introduced them.
"You won't get any special treatment just because it is your destiny to save the world" Pakku said to Aang and then looked at Akira "the same goes for you"
"Oh please teach me however hard you think I will have the best training results. I am very dilligent in my training" Akira said confidently.
"Well in this case I will expect you at sunrise" Pakku said.
"Oh there is something else I have to tell you. Mabye you will join me to a round of pai cho?" Akira asked and he didn't miss the suprised expression that flashed across master Pakkus face.
"Of course, follow me" he said and guided him to a quiet corner where he errected an ice table and blocks of Ice to serve as chairs.
"Well I am tired, see you tomorrow" Aang said and went to their new temporary home.
