The androids appeared on a small island nine kilometers southwest of South City and began attacking humans at about ten o'clock, while Raditz arrived early, waiting for Goku and the others to confirm his existence.
Age 767, May 12th - yes. Raditz reconfirmed the date he'd memorized.
He didn't wait long before several fighters flew through the air and landed on the hillside by the small island. Goku, Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillin arrived last, while Yamcha and Tien were already waiting, along with Bulma holding baby Trunks. Everyone who should have come was there, except Raditz.
They were chatting on the hillside when Yajirobe came to deliver senzu beans and left in a hurry. Suddenly, there was an explosion in the distance. The sound rumbled like thunder, and thick smoke floated up, billowing like a monstrous tide.
The androids were attacking! Yajirobe's flying car crashed due to an explosion.
"Why can't we sense their ki?"
"Damn it! Is it because they're androids, so they don't have ki?" They discussed among themselves, and finally everyone entered the city, searching for traces of the androids with their eyes.
Seabirds from the isolated island flew across the sky, and the refreshing wind blew from the blue ocean, brushing Raditz's long hair. Raditz stood quietly watching their figures racing away.
All indications showed that his guess was correct. In this world, Raditz was dead and had long been forgotten by people.
"The Original Raditz must be training in the afterlife," Raditz sighed quietly and directly activated teleportation to return to the Sacred World of the Kai in his timeline.
Now that he was a professional Supreme Kai, it wasn't difficult for him to travel back and forth between the upper and lower realms. He was already very familiar with the environment of the seventh universe's Sacred World. Even seemingly leisurely gods had regular jobs. Usually at this time, the Supreme Kai and Kibito would discuss certain topics under the ancient tree and decide on proposals submitted by various areas.
Hiding his aura, he went directly to the pavilion where the Time Ring was kept. According to the Supreme Kai, it was only checked once per century, so he shouldn't be discovered if he took a look.
Though he was being bold, he had to be careful. Raditz approached as cautiously as possible without leaving any traces.
When he reached the pavilion, Raditz finally breathed a sigh of relief. The square carved wooden box was lying quietly on the stone platform. He looked around, then used Supreme Kai power to undo the divine binding on the wooden box and opened it to look.
Four rings.
One silver piece represented the current timeline - each timeline's own ring was silver. The first green one was the timeline of the future world that Trunks had traveled through, and the second was formed when Cell killed Trunks and traveled back earlier. The last one was the extra timeline created by Raditz.
The timeline ring that would be born because of Zamasu hadn't formed yet.
In other words, only parallel worlds with the same time progression, or when other time progressions affected the current timeline, would form new Time Rings.
For example, Trunks in "Raditz's Timeline" didn't time travel, but he did in the "Original World." There wouldn't be additional Time Rings without impact.
Another example was that Zamasu had traveled many times, but only when it impacted the main timeline was a new Time Ring formed. When traveling within a fixed parallel universe, the timeline would also be fixed, so new timelines wouldn't be created repeatedly.
Otherwise, with so many Supreme Kais and Gods of Destruction existing simultaneously and overlapping with each other, it would be terrifying to think about.
Raditz shook his head, feeling chills all over when he thought of those terrifying existences, especially the seemingly harmless Omni-King. Though young and cute, he would make people disappear the moment he said so.
"Time to go back." Raditz closed the box and put it back in place.
He couldn't be discovered. If this world was affected, something unpredictable would happen.
He'd seen everything he needed to see, so he should leave quickly.
Raditz quickly raised his hand, and the Time Ring flashed with light. Bright white light covered Raditz's body like a cocoon, and a faint ray shot toward the sky.
Under the old tree...
The Supreme Kai and Kibito were discussing something when they suddenly noticed a flash of light and looked up in that direction with puzzled expressions.
"Master Supreme Kai, what's wrong?" Kibito asked in surprise.
"It's nothing. Maybe I'm too tired recently."
The Supreme Kai shook his head with a smile. When he looked closely, there were no traces. He thought to himself that he was seeing things - who could come to the Sacred World of the Kai?
Meanwhile, Raditz was going back in time in an incredible way, breaking spatial limitations to return to his original timeline.
Time travel was actually only a moment and would end soon. But this time, when Raditz crossed over, the ring was vibrating and the time became very long. The tunnel in front of him seemed to never end, with endless shuttling ahead.
"Whoosh! Whoosh whoosh—whoosh!"
The originally peaceful spacetime shuttle suddenly became turbulent. Raditz felt he was being forcibly dragged out of the enveloping light by some force! The Time Ring's ability was gradually failing, and a higher level of power was preventing him from traveling through time!
That power was also divine power, and in the eyes of someone who had temporarily become Supreme Kai, it was still powerful and almost unstoppable!
"Damn it, I'm being pulled out!" Raditz screamed internally, but his body wasn't under his control. It was as if he was entangled by thousands of arms pulling him out! Even using his mental strength to resist was useless. In the turbulent current, his boat could capsize at any time...
"Thud!"
Finally, he escaped from the shining light, seeming to have jumped out of the time tunnel, and fell hard to the ground. Raditz pressed his face against the grass and sighed bitterly: "This way of landing... I want to complain to the Time Ring's manufacturer."
Looking up, the ground was green everywhere with two trails stretching out, and no one was in front of him.
"Huh? Where are they? I wasn't gone that long." Raditz instinctively spoke when he returned and found both of them gone, but when he looked carefully, he was stunned.
Wrong.
This wasn't the Sacred World of the Kai. Though it was all green land with lush grass, there were no ancient trees, no star map, and nothing familiar here. Not far from him was a solemn house with a little girl standing at the door.
The little girl wore white high-heeled boots and a strapless uniform that looked like Supreme Kai clothing, showing her pink shoulders. She smiled proudly but friendly, with hands on her hips and two familiar earrings hanging from her earlobes.
Raditz touched his ear... a Kai?!
