Chapter 244 - Chapter 244: Destruction and Rebirth

Finally, only one electronic sound from Boundless remained in the vast sky before his death—hoarse and trembling, vague and helpless.

With the disappearance of the core chip, fragments of Big Gete Star wandering throughout the universe disintegrated simultaneously, like a castle built of sand exploding from within, turning into residue drifting through boundless space.

Big Gete Star and Boundless had merged into one. At this moment, with Boundless's destruction, the fragments of Big Gete Star, which had lost their energy and controlling will, also collapsed. The vast universe returned to silence.

The Supreme Kai raised his head and let out a long sigh of relief.

Kakarot, Vegeta, and the others were still horrified by the transformation into Super Saiyan 2. They didn't recover for a long time, their hearts beating violently. It wasn't until they saw the light fade and everything return to nothingness that they finally snapped back to reality.

The series of dramatic changes had finally come to an end. Raditz emerged from his Super Saiyan 2 form, exhausted throughout his entire body, and simply collapsed to the ground.

His eyes were half-closed, and his ears were filled with happy voices and footsteps running toward him.

Back when Boundless had first arrived on Earth, only Dr. Gero had received its signal. A genius scientist obsessed with revenge and a chip obsessed with evolution had met through their respective schemes. They compensated for each other's deficiencies, developed new androids, and satisfied their individual desires. It was conceivable that on some night in the past, they had also talked freely under the moonlight in the deep mountains, discussing reactors, stars in the universe, and perhaps their ideals in life.

But in the end, Boundless had betrayed Dr. Gero and taken everything from the old man during one of his reconstruction sessions. Unlike Gero, who believed in creating artificial humans, Boundless believed in itself more and chose to evolve itself into the ultimate artificial being.

But it had gotten one thing wrong—the potential of people was infinite, especially Saiyans.

Thinking of this, Raditz shook his head slightly as Zangya rushed forward and hugged him. He rubbed Zangya's head and said softly, "It's all over now."

Zangya hugged Raditz tightly, rubbing her cheek against his chest like a kitten, with tears glistening in the corners of her eyes—both excited and relieved. The wind was blowing, her long hair fluttering, and the grass around them was green.

After a while, Zangya looked up. "But Earth..."

"That's easy to fix. I'll go to Namek." Raditz smiled.

Immediately, he said goodbye to the Supreme Kai and the others, then teleported directly to New Namek. Coming here repeatedly was becoming routine.

When he arrived on Namek, Raditz went directly to Elder Moori and explained his purpose.

Moori laughed heartily. "We've already prepared the Dragon Balls. Since you came last time, I thought something big might happen, so I collected them for you."

"Really? Thank you, Great Elder." Raditz felt embarrassed, feeling like he was airing his family's dirty laundry.

"Come with me." Moori didn't mind and brought Raditz to the hiding place of the Dragon Balls, then summoned the dragon.

Raditz was no stranger to the dragon and directly made his wish: "Porunga, please restore all the planets destroyed by Boundless throughout the universe to the way they were before the invasion!"

Strictly speaking, many planets, including Earth, had been destroyed by products created by Boundless. Big Gete Star had only been affected through remote manipulation, so making this wish should be able to restore those planets.

Porunga's eyes glowed red. "Your wish has been granted."

As his voice echoed, the absorbed and destroyed planets throughout the universe reappeared one after another, and Earth glowed with renewed brilliance. Everything returned to the state it was in before destruction, and all was restored.

The planets were restored, but life had not yet been revived.

"By the way, can this dragon only resurrect one person at a time?" Raditz suddenly remembered the limitations of Namek's dragon's abilities and looked at Moori.

Great Elder Moori smiled. "After what happened last time, we made some modifications to the Dragon Balls."

"That's excellent!" Raditz said. "My second wish is to bring back all the lives that died because of Boundless, except for Dr. Gero and Cell!"

The dragon's eyes lit up again, shining red. In an instant, all the humans on Earth who had died after Big Gete Star's appearance were resurrected, and the fallen alliance soldiers and natives on distant planets also returned to the world of the living.

"My third wish is to bring back all the lives that died because of the androids."

"It is done."

Porunga gestured to indicate that the wish had been fulfilled, then transformed back into seven Dragon Balls and flew toward the sky to scatter across the planet.

On Earth, countless people who had experienced the despair of doomsday suddenly found that they were still alive. The sky was still so blue, the grass was still so green, and the whole world was still so beautiful—it seemed that all their experiences had been just a dream.

They looked left and right, and people who had been hiding in corners and behind walls slapped their bodies in disbelief. Alive—they were really alive!

"We're not dead!"

"Haha! It must be a miracle that we didn't die!"

The people who had survived rejoiced, and for a while, the cities were filled with boiling cries of celebration.

Kami and Mr. Popo on the Lookout gazed at the revived Earth from the edge and showed gratified smiles. "They succeeded"

Dende and Cargo nearby also jumped to the edge of the Lookout in surprise, tugging on Kami's robes and asking their grandfather figure to explain what had happened.

Androids 16 and 17 also regained life, reborn on Earth as part of the wish. But at the moment of resurrection, they were dumbfounded. There were only the two of them amid sky and sea—everyone else had disappeared.

What about the crazy monsters, that bastard who looked like Dr. Gero, and Raditz? Why were they all gone?

Android 16's sensors couldn't detect any energy responses, but as a pure artificial being, he knew that all of this wasn't some so-called "dream." They had died along with Earth under the destructive bombardment of countless Metal Cooler units, but... some magical power had brought them back to life.

"We're not dead?" Android 17 was still hovering in the air and shouted in surprise. "Where is 18?"

"I only saw her being taken away by Raditz, and later..." Android 16 shook his head. The rest of the events had been lost in the massive explosion, and he didn't know what had happened.

"This is really strange. Did Raditz take her? And Earth seems to be restored again, which is also very odd."

Android 17 looked around, puzzled by the sudden changes.

After some analysis, the two planned to search for Android 18's whereabouts in places Raditz frequently visited, so they flew off into the distance.

But they didn't notice Piccolo standing alone in a city corridor on the ground below. Piccolo was wearing his cape with a subtle expression on his face. He glanced at the sky for a moment, then disappeared into an alley with a cold snort.

Bulma and the others were also resurrected, and they complained that Raditz and his team hadn't protected Earth well enough and had let her die once for nothing.

"Achoo!" Raditz, who had just returned to the Sacred World of the Kai, suddenly felt his nose tingle.
