With one devastating blow from Raditz, Bojack was utterly annihilated, his ashes scattered across the void. This time, there was no escape into the shadows of dark space. Dozens of surrounding planets became his funeral pyre, collateral damage in the final, cataclysmic blast.
Raditz let out a sharp, cold snort, turning away from the magnificent explosion. His only concern now was Zangya. She had collapsed while fighting against the demonic influence that had twisted her mind, and he had no idea what state she'd be in when she awoke. A faint, corrupting energy still clung to her, filling Raditz with a deep unease.
Meanwhile, the newly-fused Saiyans reveled in their unprecedented power, a level of strength that dwarfed their individual forms. The potential of the technique ignited their imaginations. If this was the result of fusing as Super Saiyans, what heights could they reach by fusing as Super Saiyan 2s? Or 3s? What about Raditz's Mystic state? The sheer possibilities were staggering. The Fusion technique's value soared in their minds; even Vegeta had to grudgingly admit its incredible power.
Raditz gently took Zangya into his arms and led the others back to the ruined Saiyan Homeworld. The sight of their desolate, shattered home sobered them instantly. This had been their home, and now it was nothing but rubble. A bitter rage simmered beneath their grief; even with Bojack gone, the price of their victory felt far too high.
But there was still hope. With the seven Dragon Balls, almost anything could be restored.
Suddenly, a figure appeared before them. "Raditz, it's been a while," she said with a wave.
"The Supreme Kai of Time? When did you get here?"
"I just finished chasing off another villain from the Demon Realm when I sensed the fighting over here. It was… spectacular." Chronoa finally found the word to describe the scene. It had been a long time since she'd witnessed a battle of such ferocious intensity. Not only was the Saiyan Homeworld obliterated, but countless other planets in the surrounding systems were now just dust.
Chronoa's gaze softened as she looked at Zangya. "This one looks exhausted. Here, let me."
"You can heal her?" Raditz's eyes lit up.
"I'm just expelling a foreign energy that doesn't belong in this timeline. For me, it's a piece of cake."
Chronoa spoke casually, a confident smile on her face. For the first time, Raditz found himself genuinely admiring this petite, childlike goddess. He had never been more grateful for the Supreme Kai of Time's intervention.
He watched as Chronoa placed a hand on Zangya's chest. A soft light flickered, and after a moment, a strange ripple of energy washed over Zangya's body before dissipating completely.
"There," Chronoa said. "The Demon Realm's power has been purged. She'll be fine when she wakes up."
"Thank you, Lord Supreme Kai of Time," Raditz said, his voice thick with sincere gratitude. He gently smoothed Zangya's orange hair and adjusted her torn clothing, a tender smile finally returning to his face.
The others let out a collective sigh of relief, their curiosity now piqued by the legendary Supreme Kai of Time. Raditz had mentioned her before, but none of them had expected a being of such importance to look like a young girl.
Basking in their curious stares, Chronoa puffed out her chest, walked proudly up to Raditz, and coughed twice, adopting a tone of ancient authority.
"It's a tragedy what happened to your planet. It seems the influence of the Demon Realm is growing stronger, its tendrils reaching into this reality. Not long ago, I detected someone altering the timeline. I thought it was Trunks investigating this universe, but it turns out the true mastermind has come here to stir up trouble."
"A woman?" Raditz asked.
"That's right," Chronoa replied, slightly surprised. "Her name is Towa, the younger sister of the Demon King, Dabura. She wields incredibly powerful magic and has been disrupting the space-time continuum, all in the hopes of reviving the ancient demon god—Demigra!"
"Demigra?"
"An ancient and wicked deity whose power is so immense he could create an entirely new universe. He was sealed away at the edge of time and space seventy-five million years ago, but agents of the Demon Realm have been trying to free him ever since. Since the disappearance of Demon King Dabura, Towa's efforts have become more frequent and more brazen. By collecting enough temporal energy from altered history, she can break the seal."
Chronoa paused, her expression grim. "She may have targeted this universe simply to harvest energy, or she may see you as a significant obstacle to be eliminated."
Raditz fell silent. He recalled the incident during the Cell Games, when a dark, temporal force had tried to ensnare him. He now knew that was Towa, and she had been watching him for a long time. The fact that she was Dabura's sister was an unexpected twist.
Dabura himself was, at best, on the level of a Super Saiyan 2—hardly a threat. But Towa was different. She possessed magic similar to Babidi's, capable of corrupting and massively amplifying the power of evil beings like Bojack and Cell. Combined with her mastery over time and space, her insidious abilities made her a far more dangerous foe than her brutish brother.
"What happens if Demigra is resurrected?" one of the other Saiyans asked. "Won't the other gods do something?"
Chronoa shook her head. "His goal would likely be to erase this reality entirely and forge a new one in his own dark image. While a God of Destruction might be powerful enough to stop him, Demigra's control over time and space makes him nearly impossible to catch."
"Sounds tricky," Raditz mused. "But if we leave them alone, they threaten the entire universe. Our only option is to strike first and eliminate Towa. The problem is… she once blocked my consciousness. Finding her won't be easy."
During the Four Galaxies Tournament, Raditz had attempted to trace Towa's energy signature with his mind, only to be stopped by an invisible barrier. He had only managed to briefly break through it once he'd unlocked his Mystic state, and even then, the connection lasted only a second.
"Towa has an accomplice named Mira," Chronoa explained. "She prefers to operate from the shadows while Mira acts as her enforcer. If you want to find her, he's the one to target. I came here to bring Trunks back with me so we can prepare to confront him."
Raditz nodded. His knowledge of the Demon Realm and temporal mechanics was limited, but one thing was clear: a grave danger was approaching, and he would do whatever it took to protect the ones he loved. Let Towa come. Let the entire Demon Realm come. He was ready.
In this universe, absolute power was the only true answer. And Raditz had that power—with the potential to grow even stronger.
"Let's go, Lord Supreme Kai of Time," Raditz declared, his gaze shifting toward the distant cosmos. "We'll find Trunks together. It sounds like their battle is over, too." He could no longer sense any lingering battle energy from the direction of the GJL Headquarters. The conflict was clearly over; the Demon Star was gone.
With a nod, Chronoa placed a hand on his shoulder, and in a flash of light, she teleported Raditz and the others to the Galactic Justice League Headquarters. As he predicted, the skies were calm and clear. The ominous shadow of the Demon Star had vanished, and peace had been restored.
