Michael's willingness to hand over some of the biblical god's relics made things even better for Takumi.
The biblical god of this world had been quite the inventor. A powerhouse.
All the Sacred Gears were created by them. There was an overwhelming amount of knowledge hidden within those relics.
Surely the chief deity of the Bible system would have nothing but treasures.
This trade was looking very promising.
Takumi agreed on the spot.
Seeing his agreement, Michael let out a breath of relief.
If Takumi could resolve this crisis using the Lord's remnants, then it would be more than worth it.
"In that case, we'll trouble you, Mr. Takumi. Once the Sacred Gear process is complete, we'll hand over the collected knowledge."
Michael was visibly excited. Resolving this crisis meant everything.
According to Takumi, the evil gods of that world were extremely dangerous.
And given the biblical god's warnings, Michael remained deeply wary.
That Takumi was willing to help was a blessing.
After finalizing their agreement, the two chatted casually for a bit.
Soon, a subordinate angel entered and reported:
"Lord Michael, the angels possessing Sacred Gears have all gathered."
Michael nodded, then turned to Takumi.
"Mr. Takumi, everyone is ready. Let's begin."
He was in a hurry—better to complete this quickly and hand over the promised rewards.
Takumi had no objections.
With that, they stood and headed out.
Outside, over a dozen angels were already assembled.
Each possessed a Sacred Gear.
Dulio Gesualdo, the Ten-Winged Angel who was a reincarnated human, was among them.
As Takumi and Michael approached, all the angels respectfully saluted.
"Lord Michael!!"
Michael nodded and spoke:
"Reveal your Sacred Gears. Mr. Takumi needs your help for his research."
Following his command, the gathered angels displayed their Sacred Gears.
Takumi's eyes lit up. Without hesitation, he began analyzing.
The lower-tier Sacred Gears were child's play to dissect.
But what truly intrigued Takumi was the Holy Lightning Prison.
After swiftly copying the other Sacred Gears, he turned to Dulio Gesualdo.
"Go into Balance Breaker mode. I want to study it more closely."
Dulio raised a brow at the request. He didn't know Takumi's identity, but with Michael's endorsement, he complied.
Activating his Balance Breaker, Dulio's halo became four-layered.
Six pairs of wings flared out.
Bubbles filled with elemental energy floated around him.
His attacks relied on these elemental bubbles.
With the mode active, Takumi could now analyze the Sacred Gear in full detail.
The Holy Lightning Prison ranked second among Longinus-type Sacred Gears.
Only the Twilight Holy Spear surpassed it.
It was far more complex than the Red Dragon Emperor's Gauntlet.
But Takumi pressed on and eventually couldn't help but praise:
"As expected of a divine creation. Marvelous craftsmanship."
"Now I'm even more curious about the Twilight Spear."
"The Twilight Spear? That's the Lord's strongest Sacred Gear. Truly formidable."
Michael nodded in agreement.
"Yes, and the Lord's consciousness still resides in it."
Takumi's comment hit like thunder.
Michael froze.
"What did you say??"
Gabriel and the other angels were equally shocked.
"Mr. Takumi, are you serious? The Lord's will still exists in the Twilight Spear?"
Gabriel was so agitated she rushed up and grabbed Takumi's hand, face flushed with hope.
If the Lord's will remained, did that mean resurrection was possible?
How could she stay calm?
Even Michael looked shaken.
"Mr. Takumi, do you know who currently holds the Twilight Spear?"
"We'll mobilize immediately to retrieve it."
He was fired up. Just tell them the name, and they'd bring that person back, even if it meant war.
Because their Lord might still live.
That alone was worth everything.
Even if only a trace of will remained—it was enough to try.
Takumi watched the frenzied angels and smirked slightly.
"The one who holds it is a member of the Hero Faction. His name is Cao Cao."
Surely they knew that name.
Let them go and get him—Takumi had no reason to stop them.
"Cao Cao of the Hero Faction? Understood."
Michael recognized the name.
Now that the truth was known, the rest would be straightforward.
He turned to Raphael, who nodded.
"Uriel and I will go."
He would personally see to this mission.
"Deploy maximum combat strength. Treat it as a war."
Michael's voice was firm.
Raphael understood and immediately began making preparations.
They also summoned several Sacred Gear holders—including Dulio.
Clearly, this was no minor operation.
"You all know the Twilight Spear's power. Be wary of spatial abilities. Don't let him escape."
"Capture his allies as well. They all possess Sacred Gears."
Takumi tapped his chin, offering this final suggestion.
He was also quite interested in the others. Even the one with the curry stick.
