The continental reunification continued without any dramatic rush.

After the first successful adjustment, the formation arrays were allowed to gather energy again while the affected regions settled. 

The Collegium checked the crust, Tidewatch followed the altered currents, and the Lunarians made certain the redirected leylines had accepted their temporary paths before Lucien authorized another change.

Only then did the world move again.

Days became weeks.

The individual adjustments remained small, but their effect accumulated.

Sea routes shortened.

Navigation charts changed.

The distance between several continental shelves became visibly smaller even to ordinary measurements.

People across the five continents began following the progress with surprising enthusiasm. Predictions appeared over which continents would touch first, and before long someone had apparently turned those predictions into an unofficial betting pool.

Lucien made a deliberate decision not to investigate.
