"Your highness, may i know why his majesty is here?"
Ira looked at Raksheet and then at Advika "He wanted to accompany me."
Advika looked at Raksheet with a questioning look.
Raksheet smiled awkwardly and nod hesitantly. 'Don't tell me she still remember it.' he thought.
Advika then shifted her gaze towards Ira and smiled "Your highness, i request you to keep his majesty away from sugar bowl." She looked at Raksheet from head to toe while saying "Or else he will empty the entire sugar bowl. And we won't be able to cook sweet."
Ira was surprised to hear that her husband eat so much sugar that Advika have to request to keep him away from it. She immediately looked at Raksheet with raised eyebrows.
Raksheet expected this reaction from his wife. He looked at her and smiled in embarrassment. He then looked at Advika 'She have such a sharp memory.'
Advika smiled at Raksheet as if she can read his mind. "Yes your majesty, I still remember it."
She looked at Ira and started telling Raksheet's childhood bad habit of eating a lot of sugar. "You know what your highness, your husband loves to eat sugar since childhood. He even empty the entire sugar bowl in one day. Her highness used to scold him for eating so much sugar and he even got beaten by his mother because of his bad habit. But he was too stubborn. He used to sneak in the kitchen or in his parents and grandparents chamber to eat sugar which was placed in their chamber to add in tea. Everyone was confused where all the sugar is going. But little did we know that our prince eats it all. I used to drive him away from kitchen but he always plays his tricks of showing puppy eyes-"
Raksheet suddenly interrupted Advika as she was exposing him completely and giving his wife a reason to tease him.
"I don't do it now. I was a kid back then." He said, trying to defend himself.
"Yes, you don't eat that much sugar now, but whenever I go to clean your chamber, i always see the empty sugar bowl. But how is it possible? Because i fill it every day." Advika asked, leaving Raksheet tongue twisted.
He looked away in embarrassment and scratched the back of his neck. He peeked at his wife who was controlling her laugh and waiting for his explanation. Knowing that he can't make anymore excuse, Raksheet sighed helplessly and replied "Ok, i admit that i eat it all. But i only eat the sugar in my chamber. It's for me so I have all rights to eat it." He said, defending himself confidently.
Advika smiled at Raksheet "Of course your majesty, you have all the rights to eat the sugar in your chamber. But it's kitchen, I hope you will not eat the sugar on which others also have rights." She then looked at Ira "So your highness, I am requesting you to keep his majesty away from sugar bowl because we need sugar to make sweet for dessert after dinner."
Before Raksheet can defend himself more or say anything, Advika joined her hands infront of him and left from there.
As soon as Advika left the kitchen, Ira burst out laughing.
Raksheet can only regret coming in kitchen with her and hear her laughing on him. He looked at her, letting her laugh as much she want and waiting for her to stop laughing.
Ira looked at Raksheet and tried to speak while controlling her laugh, but her husband was looking so funny now that she can't stop laughing and again burst out laughing.
"Laugh princess laugh. Let me find out your childhood embarrassing moments, then I will laugh and you will stand like me, watching me laugh and feel embarrassed." Raksheet said with a annoyed face.
Ira finally stopped laughing and asked "Oh! It means you are embarrassed?"
Raksheet realised that he made a mistake but he is too stubborn to admit it. He quickly looked away and replied "No, I am not."
Ira can see Raksheet's face turning red in embarrassment. She hugged his arm and asked in sweet voice. "Really?"
Raksheet can only close his eyes and breath deeply after hearing that sweet voice. His heart was hammering inside his chest. He opened his eyes and looked at his wife "No." He was unable to lie after seeing his wife's sweet smile.
'I don't need a kid, i already have one.' Ira thought, laughing at Raksheet's answer.
"Don't you have to cook? You will be late to serve the food to your grandfather if you keep on laughing." Raksheet said, changing the topic so that his wife will stop laughing.
Ira nod and stopped laughing. She let go of his arm and walked towards fireplace, Raksheet fallowing her. But the fire was already out.
She looked for matchstick to set the fire. Her husband watching her in confusion.
"What are you doing? Cook." He asked.
"I am searching matchstick. I need fire to cook." Ira replied, still searching.
"Oh." He started searching for matchstick and found it. "Here it is."
Ira looked at him and walked towards him. "Set the fire then." She the went to grab a pot to cook.
He started setting the fire and said when he was done. "The fire is set, now cook."
She nod and started cooking.
Raksheet looked arround the kitchen as he entered in kitchen after such a long time. His eyes then fell on a bag filled with sugar. He gulped as his mouth started watering to see his favourite thing infront of him but he tried to control himself. Advika had already told Ira about his bad habit and if she sees him eating sugar, she will surely scold him.
But his mind was completely fixed on the bag of sugar. He glanced at this wife. She was busy cooking. Taking the opportunity, he slowly moved towards the sugar bag and took some sugar in his hand.
Ira shifted her eyes from the fireplace to Raksheet. She crossed her hands on her chesta after seeing him eating sugar. She let him eat at first attempt but immediately cleared her throat after seeing him again taking some sugar in his hand.
He flinched on his place and looked at Ira with a awkward smile. He requested her to let him eat with his pleading eyes but she shook her head and ordered him to come back. He immediately ate the sugar that was in his hand, making his wife glare at him. He ran towards her. He walked behind her and hugged her waist, his chin resting on her shoulder, making it difficult for her to move.
"What are you doing? Leave me. I have to cook." She tried to push him and remove his hands from her waist. But her husband is way more stronger than her. He didn't moved an inch and tighten his grip even more.
"I want to hug you." He said cutely.
Ira can't move in his tight grip. Even if she didn't wanted to disappoint Raksheet by pushing him away, she still have to ask him to leave her so that she can cook peacefully and fast.
Ira stopped cooking and said "Raksheet, leave me. I can't move. I have to cook porridge before lunch time. How am I supposed to cook when you are hugging me so tight?"
He looked at her with straight face and broke the hug. He walked few steps away as if he is angry on her.
"Thank you." She said and continued cooking.
Raksheet rolled his eyes on Ira in annoyance that his wife can't let him at least hug her. She didn't told him that she can cook, she didn't cooked anything for him. Yet he didn't scold her, but still she can't let him hug her.
When Ira was done cooking she put out the fire and closed the steel pot with a plate.
"Done." She said with a sigh.
Raksheet who was standing aside with a dull look, finally smiled and walked towards Ira.
He hugged her tightly and asked "Now can I hug my wife?"
Ira turned around to face him and smiled. She nod and hugged him back.
"But not for too long. I have to serve grandfather the food."
Raksheet nod while caressing her hair "Ok."
"Do you want to come?"
"Sure."
Arround the lunch time, Ira brought some porridge for her grandfather. Raksheet joined her, holding the tray of a small pot filled with porridge and a bowl.
They entered in Viraaj's chamber. He was sleeping soundly.
