Vikram was following Veer everywhere, doesn't matter how far he had to walk behind Veer. His eyes never left his sight and followed him and his men everywhere. They were roaming in entire city without taking a break when suddenly, Veer started to go towards the forest at the end of the city.
Vikram was a bit confused that why Veer is going into forest. Is there any route connected to another city? Doesn't matter if he have to follow Veer from one city to another, he will not stop. He will go after him all day just to find the evidence.
Veer ordered his men to stop outside the forest because he want some alone time. No one objected as they know this young man will not listen to anyone.
Vikram sneaked inside the forest from a distance so that none of Veer's men can see him.
After walking for a few minutes, deep in the forest, Veer stopped. Following him, Vikram stopped at a distance as well, thinking what Veer is doing here in the middle of the forest alone.
Veer jumped down from his horse and looked arround to make sure no one is there. He then stepped forward and said "Come out, I don't have much time to waste on you."
At first, Vikram thought Veer is talking to him but soon a mid age man came out from behind the tree and greeted Veer.
He took out a packet from his bag and extended towards Veer. "The powder and medicine must have finished by now, so here is a new packet for you."
Veer waved his hand tiredly as no "No. I don't need it now. I still have the powder you gave me last time. I will use it."
"What? You still have it? Didn't you used it properly? It must have finished by now. We have to finish him as soon as possible!" The man asked, displeased.
Vikram was hearing all the conversation from a distance, trying his best to not get caught.
Veer took a step forward in anger after hearing the man's insolence behaviour of questioning him.
"I know how to use it. Don't you dare teach me!" He said in his low angry voice.
The man immediately realised his mistake after getting goosebumps by hearing Veer's angry voice and seeing his expression. The man quickly kneeled down to apologise.
"I am sorry your highness. I am really sorry. I wasn't trying to teach you. I am really sorry for my presumption."
Veer clicked his tongue in annoyance "Now stop it. Stand up."
The man quickly stood up and said "Thank you your highness."
Veer turned around to leave but the man stopped him by asking
"Your highness, I am sorry but I have to ask you why the powder that I gave you last time haven't finished yet. I have to answer his majesty too."
Veer took a deep breath in frustration. "We were in Jwalana last week, so I was not able to use it. Upon that, he is using a medicine that will remove all the poisonous powder from his body. So I have to start it from the beginning."
"What? You have to start it from the beginning? It means all our hard work went in vain?" The man asked shocked.
"Yes."
"But your highness, the powder is too costly, we can't waste it like this."
Hearing the man's insolence words, Veer's anger was on its peek. He was trying so hard to control his anger and not to hurt this moron infront of him as this man is his partner's servent. And he can't hurt his partner's servent at all.
"But I can rip you part if you keep on talking nonsense!" Veer said, making the man shut his mouth immediately. "I know how expensive it is! Don't teach me! I will pay the price for it! Who are you to question me?!"
"I am sorry your highness." The man quickly apologized in shaky voice "I d-didn't wanted to offend you. I-I am really really sorry."
Veer took a deep breath, controlling his anger "Your presence is too annoying. Just get lost!"
He then turned around and hopped on his horse. He walked out of the forest, leaving the man alone and Vikram shocked.
'It's him!' Vikram thought in disbelief. He knew Veer is the biggest suspect but it wasn't confirmed yet. And now, after hearing their conversation, it's shocking! Veer want to kill his own grandfather!
'What kind of person he is? He is planning to kill his own grandfather, with someone's help! But who is that person? Who is helping him? And why?'
Vikram started to follow Veer again. The whole day, Veer was just roaming in the city. Hearing people's problems and thinking it's the drama of every day. These poor people always makes scene to get compensation. And buying the things his dear sister told him to buy for her.
"Ah! Can't she just come by herself and buy? Why do I have to do this?!" He said to himself, feeling confused what colour scarf his sister want him to buy. She did told him but he already forgot it.
Vikram was standing on the other side of the road, infront of the clothes store where Veer is busy buying stuffs. He was looking at Veer with lazy and confused eyes that why this man is taking such a long time buying women's clothes.
'Are you done? Please go back to your palace!' Vikram shouted in his mind.
Here Agastya was trying to stay near Viraaj's room as well as kitchen. He have to do double work compared to Vikram. He have to check whether the food is clean and Viraaj is fine. He didn't even had the time to think about his lunch until his friend who works in palace with him, asked him about it. But still, while having his food, Agastya was thinking about Viraaj. He quickly finished his food and again went on his duty.
'It will be better if Ankush enters in palace soon. I can't handle both the sides alone.'
He saw Daksha walking towards the hallway. He have to talk about Ankush with Daksha to make way for him to enter in the palace. He rushed towards her
"Your highness." He called and she turned to look at him. He joined his hands to greete her and she asked.
"Yes?"
"Your highness, sorry to disturb you but I have something to talk about. Will you spare sometime to listen to me?" He asked politely that made Daksha chuckle.
"Sure, speak."
"Your highness, I have a cousin. He used to live with his family in East Village, but because of the landslide that happened last year, he lost his family."
"Oh, that's so sad. Did he collected the compensation we gave to the victim's family?" She asked with pity in her eyes.
Agastya understood that his plan is working, so with a slight sorrow look, he answered.
"No, he didn't."
"Why? He should have come to palace and collect it. At least you should have come on his place and collect it on his behalf to give him. At least you should have informed me." She was a bit mad that Agastya didn't told her about it.
The royal family is responsible for all the victims and their families. They have to compensate all the families that suffered but there is still someone who didn't got his compensation after loosing all his family members and don't know in which state he is now.
Agastya sighed and looked away, trying to look emotional
"He....he lost everything" he looked at her
"Everything?" She asked
He nod "Everything. His parents, siblings, grandparents, his family documents, academy documents, everything. He don't have any proof to prove his loss. He don't have any proof to call his parents his mother and father. He can't play with his siblings anymore. He can't experience the love his grandparents used to give him. And the most important thing that he lost, is hope. He lost his hope to live."
Daksha gasped in shock that how someone have to suffer so much in their kingdom and they don't have any idea.
"I asked him to come here and live with me, but he refused. He didn't wanted to rely on anyone anymore. He wanted to work and earn by himself so that no one can look down on him. Fortunately, someone gave him home to live and work to earn. Until now, he used to live in his village with his master. Now he came here to live with me and work here. He lost his job there so..."
"Oh, that's sad. What he used to do before? Who was his master?" She questioned, leaving Agastya speachless.
'Shit! I didn't thought about it! What to do? What to do? I thought the landslide was the enough reason for her to give Ankush job.'
