In Jwalana,
Everyone was having dinner. Enjoying their meal and Ira and Ahil telling how their day went in market. The food, the shopping and about Arjuna. His topic made Ira smile widely but it made Ahil roll his eyes in annoyance. He is the youngest child of Kumar family and he got whatever he wanted since childhood. He is too pampered and spoiled that he hate if someone tries to get something away from him that he likes the most. And his sister Ira is one of that.
"He is too cute and smart. He know everything about market. He helped me a lot today." Ira said in her joyful voice.
Ahil sighed and replied "He is not that cute. And I am smarter than him. I know more about market than him. Not only market but the entire kingdom."
Everyone looked at him and sensed the clear jealousy in his behaviour.
Raksheet, who was enjoying his wife's excited explanation of her day, shifted his gaze from his wife to his brother. He raised his one eyebrow questioningly and asked "Are you jealous?"
Ahil closed his eyes in frustration and put the spoon in his plate. He sighed and looked at his brother with sharp gaze.
"Yes, I am. Because that kid came from nowhere and stole my sister. He was just hanging arround sister all the time and you two are appreciating him so much. But I brought umbrella for sister and I was holding it for her all the time until you send me away but still, no one is talking about my thoughtfulness." He suddenly stood up and pushed the plate away. He left from there, feeling embarrassed as well as angry that he have to remind them about the care and love he have for his sister Ira.
"Ahil! Come back!" Avanya shouted but her son is too stubborn and embarrassed to listen to her.
"Let him go. Your son must be embarrassed right now." Ashwant said and started laughing silently.
Avanya slapped his shoulder slightly and glared at him.
"What? He is! Didn't you saw his face. It was all red. It could be anger but I think it was embarrassment." Ashwant replied and again started laughing.
"Let him be. He will be fine till tomorrow." Raksheet replied and continued eating.
"I think I should talk to him." Ira said, feeling guilty that she ignored Ahil even after he did so much for her.
"No need. I told you, he will be fine till tomorrow." Raksheet said.
"No, that's not the point. It's all happened because of me. I should go and talk to him. He always help me but I somehow ignored him today."
Raksheet looked at his parents and grandparents and Abhiveera nod, signalling Raksheet to let Ira do what she want.
"Fine. But before that, finish your food."
Ira smiled slightly and nod. She continued eating her food and finished it fast to meet Ahil.
After finishing her food, she went to search for Ahil. She asked the servants to find him and inform her but no one knew where he is. After thinking for a while that where he could be, she remembered that he likes painting. He once told her that whenever he feels low or tired, he spent his time painting in his art chamber.
She went towards the art chamber with a servant holding the plate of food for Ahil. He left the dinning hall without finishing his food. He must be hungry. When she reached the chamber, the door was closed. She tried to peek inside and found him sitting on a chair and painting something on his canvas. She sighed deeply to see the angry look on his face and sulkiness in his actions. She opened the door and entered inside. He didn't reacted or even looked at her and continued his painting.
"I searched you everywhere and you are here." She said. She signalled the servant to put the plate on table and leave.
He still didn't replied and continued his work.
She walked towards him and stood beside him. Her eyebrows raised to see him painting a portrait of their family and this time, she is a part of it too.
"You are painting our family? It's beautiful!" She said surprised and smiled brightly. She was expecting him to answer and tried to talk again but he didn't replied anything. After not getting any answer from him, she decided to wait and see what he is exactly doing. She stood beside him patiently until he started painting remaining part on canvas.
She tried to control her smile after seeing him drawing Raksheet on one side and himself on other side of her in painting. She covered her mouth to not laugh on him but couldn't stop herself from asking.
"Are you jealous?"
He stopped and took a deep breath. "No." He replied in cold tone and again continued his painting.
"So.....angry?" She asked again.
"No."
"Then come and eat dinner. You didn't ate properly before."
"I am not hungry."
She breathed deeply to bear his stubbornness and held his hand that was holding the paint brush.
"Still, you should eat your food and finish it. Come, I brought you food." She tried to pull him out of the chair but he released his hand gently from her grip and continued his painting with angry face.
"I don't want to."
She was feeling done now. She wanted to pull him out of the chair and drag towards food and feed him. But because of the difference between their strength and body, it's impossible!
She took a chair and placed it beside Ahil. She sat down beside him and said.
"I am sorry. I know you are angry-"
"I am not." He cut her off suddenly, without looking at her.
"Yes you are! And I am sorry for what I did. I didn't realised that I am ignoring you. He is just a kid and I thought he is too smart for his age so I couldn't stop myself from praising him. I have never seen any kid before. So I was too excited to spend time with him and talk about him."
"You think he is better than me." He said, making Ira chuckle that finally he showed his jealousy clearly.
"Of course not! He is just a kid. But you, you are the commander of our Jwalana army. You are more strong and powerful than anyone else, except your brother."
He chuckled to hear her wanting to praise him but not more than her husband.
She sighed in relief to see him chuckle "Huh, finally you smiled."
He immediately fixed his expression and stopped smiling "No I didn't."
"Yes, you did." She held his hand, stopping him from painting and look at her. "Please brother, don't be angry. After Raksheet, you are the best man I have in my life. I don't want to loose you. If you are angry, just tell me. But please, don't ignore me. I didn't meant to ignore you. Arjuna is so cute that I didn't realised I ignored you."
"What about me? You once said that I am cute. Is he cuter than me?"
Ira tried not to laugh on his question "Didn't you told me to not call you cute?"
