Chapter 2 - Chapter 6

"Mr.. George?" Charlie says softly as he peeks from around the corner of the burnt wall inside the charred remains of the house. "I think it's time we.." "SHUT UP!" George screams, "it's Johnson!" After a brief pause, Charlie asks "I'm… sorry I don't…" "ITS FUCKING JOHNSON! FUCKING GOD DAMN GEORGE JOHNSON!" Tears stream down George's face as he buries his face in Janet's lifeless body. "WHY!? Why did this happen to me?" George says, "I was faithful, I SERVED THIS GOD DAMN SHITHOLE OF A COUNTRY!" Charlie stares in silence, speechless. "She found you, and IIIII said we should call for help, but NOOOOOOOO! She insisted we stay with you!" There is a pause then George gets to his feet, and draws his gun holstered on his side. "This.." George's hands tremble as he tries to get words out while in a near catatonic state. "THIS IS YOUR FAULT! THEY WANTED YOU! YOU FUCKING HELLSPAWN!" "Please put the gun down." Charlie says nervously. "You were such a kind man to me, you and your wife.." BANG! "Shut the FUCK UP!" George screams as he shoots off to the side. "My wife is dead because they wanted YOU!" He aims the gun at Charlie while trembling. "Well now I can kill you AND hurt the people who did this to my wife!" BANG! Charlie falls backwards like a stiff board as the bullet hits him in the temple of his head. "I'm coming honey! George yells as he puts the gun up to his head and pulls the trigger. BANG!

"FUCK!" Charlie screams, his hand and arm dripping blood. "You shouldn't injure your hand like that; even if I can hea.." SHUT UP!" Charlie snaps, punching the oak tree just outside the wreckage of the house. "Why? Why does everyone I care about die?! ARRRRRGH!" Charlie repeatedly slams his fist into the tree, several bone fragments fly off onto the ground. Charlie falls to his knees, gripping his broken and shattered hand as tears weep from his eyes. "We should probably change locations.." " FUCK OFF!" Charlie screams, cutting Gast off. "I didn't want any of this! I didn't want to be experimented on, I didn't want to wake up in the god damn woods! I DIDN'T WANT THIS LIFE!" Charlie wails and sobs uncontrollably before adding "What would you know about that huh?" Charlie says choking from trying to speak in his catatonic state. "YOU NEVER LOST ANYBODY! I LOST EVERYONE I EVER CARED ABOUT, AND EVERYONE ELSE WANTS TO FUCKING KILL ME!" Charlie burying his face in his palms while slouched over. "That's incorrect." Gast says. I told you only part of my story…

REMOTE VILLAGE TEMPLE; LOCATION UNKNOWN

YEAR OF 1525

"Where am I…? I don't know this place, yet it seems familiar." I first woke up in a temple of some sort; I had no idea of who I was, or even where. "Hello?! Can anyone hear me?!" I soon learned I could phase through walls, and memories of exorcism magic and possession techniques flooded my mind. Other than that, I had nothing to go on. "Waaaaaaah! Wait.. I can.. Fly? And my body just phases through everything…." "Soon after I awoke I phased to the surface; as the place I was in was destroyed and buried underground. Once I reached the surface, there was a small village; one much more primitive then the ones of today.

There were only huts, and the people spoke a language I had never heard before, or since. The village was stationed in a coastal area, with boats stationed all around. The residents were very particular folk; they would do their work, everything from manual labor to fishing, and go home to sleep. They would say nothing to each other while working or while heading home." I would watch them every day, yet they could not see or hear me. Then something unexpected happened.

"Can I help you with something sir?" There is a long pause, and then the shopkeeper repeats himself "uh… hello?" Gast wide eyed asks "you… can see me?" The man nods and responds "I have seen you since you first came to this island; at first I thought you were simply a resident of this island but then I noticed you were ethereal. There is a pause, and then the man asks "so are you a ghost haunting this island?" "Honestly I am not sure myself" Gast answers; "I woke up somewhere underground, and I don't have any memories." "Well then" the man says, "let's try to fix that."
