Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: Neighbor Gwen Comes of Age, Leo's Perfect Physique

An hour later, when Leo had collapsed on the sofa and even taken a nap, Gwen was finally ready.

The carefully dressed girl was eye-catching. Her fitted long pants had become capri pants, revealing her fair ankles.

The pink shirt she wore created undulating curves on her body. If it were Pikachu wearing it, it could probably create quite a large arc too.

Although she was only sixteen, the girl had already come of age and radiated feminine charm.

Perhaps due to the influence of spider genes, Leo felt that Gwen's skin had become even smoother, like milk.

Mm, he really wanted to taste it.

The slurping kind.

"Let's go~"

Gwen was very satisfied with Leo's gaze glued to her body.

A woman dresses for those who appreciate her - she had spent so much effort precisely to see that infatuated look in her beloved's eyes.

Happily linking arms with Leo, Gwen waved to her parents.

"Dad, Mom, Leo and I are going shopping. Don't make lunch for me."

"Okay." This was Helen.

"Remember to come back early tonight, don't wait for me to call." This was George.

"Got it."

Gwen waved dismissively, gave her mom a meaningful look, and quickly escaped with Leo.

It wasn't until they were downstairs that she breathed a sigh of relief and said with some annoyance:

"Phew, Dad's been getting stricter with me lately. If I come home after seven o'clock, he'll call me."

"Really, I'm not a little kid anymore."

Leo curled his lips and didn't respond to this.

He was worried you'd bring a little kid home.

They hailed a taxi and headed straight to Macy's department store in Herald Square in central Manhattan.

This Macy's had nothing to do with the soccer player Messi. Macy's was America's most prestigious large department store with nearly a century of history.

Inside, you could find any luxury brand in the world - they had everything.

Having just earned some living expenses yesterday, Leo wouldn't shortchange Gwen.

As soon as they got out of the car, they received a lot of attention.

Leo's 6'1" height, perfect muscles, and handsome appearance hit every sweet spot of these Western beauties.

Many women looking at him had eyes that were practically dripping with desire.

And Gwen, after being bitten by the spider, had also grown considerably, now about 5'8".

With a pair of long legs that were almost as impressive as Leo's.

The handsome man and beautiful woman combination drew many passersby to look, earning displeasure from their companions.

Leo completely ignored the passersby's gazes, and Gwen's attention was entirely focused on shopping, pulling him along to start a major shopping spree.

She didn't just buy for herself; she also wanted to buy for Leo.

Shark waist, dog-back, bat back.

Even though Gwen saw Leo's physique regularly, she would still occasionally daydream about it.

Such a good clothes hanger wearing training clothes every day was really a waste.

"Gwen, please spare me. Even if you buy so many clothes, I'm too lazy to wear them."

Leo begged for mercy with a pained expression. He could still handle accompanying her shopping, but having to change into a pile of clothes in every store was pure torture.

"Five pieces, just let me buy you five pieces, okay?" Gwen pleaded, her big eyes blinking.

"Fine, it's a deal. Just try on five times."

It turned out Leo was still too young. Gwen meant buying five pieces, not trying on five pieces.

After going around in a circle, his body no longer felt like his own.

And Gwen had also gained a lot. The clothes on her body had been completely changed, and she was carrying big and small packages that she could barely hold.

Some were hers, and some were Leo's.

Although her family conditions were decent, even draining Mr. George dry wouldn't be enough for Gwen to afford this level of spending.

All of this was paid for by Leo.

In the past, Gwen had been very resistant to spending Leo's money, but in the end, she was convinced.

"You wearing these beautiful clothes is also for me to see, and besides, you'll be mine in the future anyway, so these clothes aren't really bought for you."

"They're bought for myself."

A round of CPU processing and indirect confession left little Gwen dizzy and unconsciously thinking that what Leo said made sense.

From then on, she wasn't so resistant. If he wanted to buy clothes and such things, he could buy them.

However, Gwen was also somewhat puzzled about where Leo got all this money.

Leo was prepared for this.

He showed Gwen his stock account, and after seeing the eight-figure value of Stark Industries stock, Gwen understood everything.

With Stark Industries' excellent performance, just the dividends alone were quite a substantial sum.

"Let's go eat. What do you want to eat?"

After having all the items delivered to Leo's home by the department store's service staff, Gwen turned and asked.

Leo had long been exhausted and collapsed on the sofa: "Meat, I want to eat meat!"

Damn it, accompanying a girl shopping was really too tiring. He'd rather go fight Frieza than accompany Gwen shopping for another afternoon.

"Then let's go eat steak. That fits your requirements perfectly."

Gwen blinked her eyes. "This meal is my treat."

Leo pretended to be fierce: "Then I'm going to eat you poor!"

.

A man's word is his bond - when he says something, he must do it.

Since he said he was going to eat Gwen poor, Leo absolutely wouldn't go easy.

In a high-end restaurant, under Gwen's pained gaze.

Leo directly devoured five large portions of the biggest steaks before stopping with satisfaction.

"You meanie! You ate up all my pocket money for this month."

Gwen wanted to cry but had no tears.

Not only was this month's pocket money eaten up, but her little savings would also take a considerable hit.

Gwen was already regretting why she had chosen such an expensive restaurant.

She should have made this guy eat McDonald's!

Facing the girl's complaints, Leo appeared righteously indignant: "You said you'd treat me, and you picked the restaurant. How is it my fault now?"

"Besides, you ate quite a bit yourself."

Gwen's pretty face turned red. Her appetite had also increased considerably - she had eaten two steaks in one meal.

"Stop talking." She glared fiercely at the boy and got up to leave.

"Hey, are we still shopping?"

"No more shopping. Let's go to your place and rest!"

Leo quickly followed Gwen out of the restaurant, but found her standing still, looking somewhat puzzled.

"What's wrong?"

"Look over there. Isn't that Parker?"

Leo looked in the direction Gwen was pointing and saw his designated homework proofreader, Peter Parker, waiting at a red light at the intersection.
