Nirvana's eyes and attention was fixated on the jug of water on the table.
Picking the cup beside it, she poured a good quantity of water into the cup, sipping part of while she dropped the rest, still glancing at it.
The emerald pendant she had gotten as a gift from Danika was by the side in an opened jewelry chest, part of the emerald haven turned black.
Her handmaiden had wanted to discard it but she had stopped her on time before she did. The emerald wasn't done serving it's purpose. And besides, it was disrespectful to dispose of a gift received from someone.
She examined her surroundings for any sign of movement and when she was sure there was none, picked the emerald pendant up from the chest and placed it into the cup containing the remaining water.
Immediately, there was a fizzle inside the cup and soon after, the once colourless water turned into black.
