Chapter 46 - One taste wasn't Enough

Ryn was curious and he nodded in response. They entered the house and walked up the stairs that led to a room.

It was like something conjured from a dream bathed in stardust and soft light. There was a glass dome stretched high above revealing a crystal-clear sky littered with stars.

"This is so beautiful!" Ryn exclaimed. He pointed towards the sky. "You can see the stars from here."

Veyr nodded and pointed around. There were delicate petals around the room. A king-sized bed at the center of the room faced the sky. It was draped in deep sapphire silk and soft golden pillows.

"Wow!" Ryn exclaimed again. "You decorated this place yourself?"

Veyr smiled and nodded. "Come. You said you wanted to watch the stars so badly," he sat with his hands behind his back against the headboard and beckoned to Ryn.

Ryn lay beside him and leaned against his chest. One hand was on Veyr's chest while the other was pointing at the stars that shimmered through the domed ceiling.
