Chapter 19 - Magic Blowgun (I)

Through an alleyway a lone Geddos ran. He was hiding in the dark parts of the citadel and wore a cape to cover his back and head, it used a special technology to whiten his fur and reduce his size to appear like a Teddy copy from further away, not a Geddos copy.

His little feet were tapping very quickly and silently on the metal ground of the citadel. Under his cloak, which was waving due to his speed, was a blowgun. It was the first creation ever in the simulation which was designed and engineered by a Geddos copy. And, even though technology is evil and magic is good, it was not made with technology but with magic. No Teddy has yet used magic, even though it represents them and their light.

He climbed up a wall and entered the home of someone, maybe a Teddy's, or maybe a Max's. They were not home at the time and nobody locked their doors as there was nothing to steal on the citadel.

The Geddos made his way through the hallway, past multiple rooms and through the kitchen onto the balcony. He put his blowgun onto the floor next to himself and took out binoculars. Laying down he looked through the binoculars to search for his target.

"There you are." He whispered. His gaze was fixed onto another Geddos copy. All the other Geddos copies were bound to a Teddy copy to circumvent what was about to happen. He put down his binoculars and picked up his blowgun, putting it in front of his mouth. "There can only be one."

He blew with all his power into the mouthhole. Before his eyes a magical glyph appeared for him to choose his target and after selecting the Geddos copy, a glowing needle flew out of the front hole and the air around was distorted due to the heat of the needle.

"Have a nice day!" A Teddy copy said, waving to the customers leaving her little market stand after selling them a handful of fruits.

The customer, another Teddy, was waving back while looking over her shoulders back to her. "See you tomorrow." She yelled through the crowd. To her hand was a Geddos copy bound who was sulking.

He sighed, "Can we hurry home? I don't want to be seen like that!" He complained silently. While he was bigger than the Teddy copy, he was being dragged around by her. "And why do I have to carry your groceries? You know we don't need to eat yet buy so much food."

"Would you stop complaining already?" She asked him, "You pretend as if you were forced to be bound to me, you could rip my arm off, or my hand at least to get free, but you would rather not hurt me so you have to deal with me, until we let you go." A cute smile was decorating her fluffy face as she looked into his face. "See? You're quiet now—"

Suddenly the Geddos copy fell to the side, pulling her down with her as the side of his head burst into flames. The fire spread over his entire body in seconds, even touching the Teddy as she screamed for someone to help the Geddos copy. The flames did not spread onto her, she could not even feel the heat of the flames.

In less than 5 seconds it was over. Not even ashes remained from his body. The object binding him to the Teddy fell from her arm onto the ground with the groceries he was holding.

Screams of panic were filling the market. Was it an attack by the Geddos Alliance? Did they infiltrate their citadel? How the hell could this happen?

The Teddy copy sitting on the ground followed the trajectory of how he fell towards the place the attack came from. Her gaze quickly went towards the balconies across the street, she continued to search the walls and balconies for movement.

Then she found someone. A Teddy(?) copy was entering the home of a Pheddie via the balcony. "What?" She jumped up, filled with anger. While she did not believe the Teddy on the balcony was the attacker, she had to have seen who did it.

She ran past the group of onlookers and quickly broke through the door into the house. She sprinted up the stairs and looked down the hall. "Ouch!" She bumped into the Teddy copy she had seen and was looking for.

Their eyes met. "Wait!" She screamed as the Teddy turned around and bolted away to flee, "Who are you?" She was stunned for a moment because those weren't Teddy eyes, they looked like a combination of Teddy's and Geddos' eyes. Once she realised that the Teddy was running away she jumped up to pursue her.

"STOP! I just have some questions for you!"

The two Teddy copies ran through multiple homes of Pheddies, jumping from window to window. The cloaked copy jumped to the next balcony and slowed down. The pursuing copy took a deep breath and accelerated, every step she got closer.

"Got you." She muttered and jumped forward to grab the cloaked copy. But she missed and fell a story down and flew through a closed window, destroying the glass and landing in the bathroom of the house.

The cloaked Teddy had jumped upwards, dodging her and climbing up onto the roofs to run with less obstacles and hide once she was far enough.
