"Last time on Total Drama Action," Chris began the usual recap while twirling around a cane. "Christmas magic was in the air as our cast celebrated a time of giving, gratitude, and good will towards our fellow man. Not! The weather outside may have been frightful but the only thing colder than the snow we set up was our very cast! The super alliance was prepared to win by any means necessary so they could finally get rid of the Hispanic that Stole Christmas, Ronnie Anne. And things seemed to look in their favor as Bridgette proved to be Santa's elf of the month by dominating both challenges! Unfortunately for them however, allowing Geoff to stay on the show proved to be a big mistake as the dude let Lincoln take a big fall and sent him tumbling down all the way to sudden death, sending both Lincoln and Lily off the show. How will the super alliance handle not having their leader? Will they all be out for Geoff's blood? And how will their singing voices sound? Find out all this and more right now on Total…Drama…Action!"
Saying that the tension in the air was thick enough to cut with a knife would be…quite the understatement. The air was completely filled with an uncomfortable silence that you would be able to physically feel if you entered the tent. All of the final seven contestants were there but no one thought of starting any conversations. Heck they all didn't feel like eating as a few of them just picked at their food.
Dawn, Lindsay, and Bridgette were sitting together at one table with the former and latter both simply picking at their food, their moods possibly the lowest among the seven here. For Dawn she had to say goodbye to her boyfriend. Sure they were both taking the separation better than they did on the island. But still, Dawn just couldn't help but both miss him as well as miss Lily. The film lot was just a lot more of a dimmer place with neither of them around.
As for Bridgette, well it didn't take a genius to see why she was feeling so sour now. Her best friend from the cast was gone and the one who eliminated him was her own boyfriend…Geoff. Bridgette just…couldn't believe it. The guy she got to know over the course of the first season, the fun-loving goofy guy ended up becoming…this. Sure she knew Geoff wasn't the brightest guy in the world but despite that he always seemed like a good guy. Sure she found out about him trying to help Duncan prank Harold back during the first season but she could just chalk that up to stupid guys doing stupid things and nothing done out of malice.
But this…the type of person Geoff's turned into during the season. Bridgette felt like she didn't even know who he was anymore. He was just becoming a mean and petty jerk, believing everything Ronnie Anne told him to the point of thinking that Lincoln was this sleaze ball trying to lure her into some poly relationship with Dawn. And even after she told Geoff to his face that wasn't the case he refused to believe her and at the end of it was the reason that Lincoln got kicked off the show. She was just…so angry with him right now.
Meanwhile Lindsay could feel just how much the two girls were hurting right now and completely empathize with them. Other than Ronnie Anne, who Lindsay had absolutely no interest in interacting with at all, Dawn and Bridgette were the only girls left in the game and well…gal pals had to stick together. So she was trying to think of a way of cheering them up, at least a little. She knew nothing she did would completely change things but the least she could do was try and put a smile on their faces.
As for Ronnie Anne, she was sitting by herself at one of the tables in the corner of the room, no one giving her the time of day at all. The Hispanic teen's nose was still patched up after Bridgette broke it at the end of the last challenge. She could still feel it throb and not being able to properly smell or breathe much through it until it was fully healed was a bitch and a half and Ronnie Anne sent Bridgette plenty of cold glares since the incident, though the surfer girl hardly even acknowledged her.
Ronnie Anne should be feeling on top of the world right now. Lincoln was gone, she beat him, she proved she was better than him…but she felt nothing. While she didn't see it, she heard that Lincoln took his loss with complete grace and a smile on his face and it just…pissed her off to no degree! He lost out on a million dollars! He should be shattered and she should feel on top of the world! So…why doesn't she?
As for the guys, things weren't going much better for them. DJ and Harold were sitting together in complete silence with neither feeling like eating right now as they picked at their food. DJ just couldn't help but feel greatly disappointed in what his friend has become. Geoff was one of his closest friends back during season one alongside Duncan and Lincoln. Sure Duncan was a bad boy but DJ saw the good in him and Duncan never truly did anything outright malicious, yeah the pranks on Harold were mean but that was really as bad as it got. But what Geoff did was outright rotten and there was just nothing that could excuse it.
Meanwhile Harold had no problems outright showing his anger towards Geoff for booting off his best friend. He and Geoff never really got to know each other during the course of the first two seasons. During season one they never really interacted too much and Harold only got a negative view of him since Geoff often helped Duncan prank him, and even when Lincoln made Geoff apologize to him unlike DJ's Harold could tell it wasn't a true genuine apology. As soon as the opportunity presented itself Harold would avenge Lincoln and make the party boy pay!
As for Geoff himself…oh boy he could feel himself boiling from the hot water he was in. Basically with the exception of Ronnie Anne everyone absolutely hated him! No one had any sort of problems showing how much they disliked him now, Dawn would give him murderous looks, Lindsay would give a glare that he could never imagine the usually ditzy and friendly blond girl giving, Harold would look like he was ready to attack him at any time, DJ, one of his own best friends, would just give him looks of soul crushing disappointment. And Bridgette…Geoff couldn't even think about her. But she no longer gave him the looks he was used to and it just…broke his heart.
After getting his food from Chef, Geoff looked around and tried to figure out where he should sit. He didn't wanna just sit by himself like Ronnie Anne was and he…really didn't want to sit next to her. Ever since the last challenge he decided hanging around Ronnie Anne wasn't the best idea. He couldn't sit with the girls, he didn't feel like dying today. So, that just left trying to sit with the guys. Maybe they could talk things out and get them on his side again? Hopefully…
"Here goes nothing…" Geoff gulped a bit as he went over to the guys table and sat down in front of them. But as soon as he sat down Geoff tensed up as he saw Harold give him a hateful look while DJ simply narrowed his eyes at the party dude, neither offering pleasantries of any kind. But still Geoff tried to spark some sort of conversation with them as he sent them a nervous smile. "Um…DJ! S-Sup bro, everything doing good? Hehe…"
"…" But DJ didn't say anything in response to Geoff's words.
"On-Only seven of us left, huh?" Geoff sweated a bit nervously at DJ giving him the cold shoulder, but he persisted in trying to talk to them. "Pretty…crazy right? Can't believe we're that far into the game now,"
"…" But again, nothing.
Seeing that DJ wasn't willing to talk with him, Geoff tried his luck with Harold as he turned to the ginger geek. "So Harold," Geoff chuckled nervously as he shot some finger guns towards him. "Got any mad skills in store for us?"
"…" Geoff flinched as Harold simply shot him a hate filled glare before going back to looking at his food, not sending Geoff any words just like DJ.
"…You know there's just us three guys and f-four girls," Geoff pointed out with a stutter. If neither would respond to just casual conversation, maybe talking about the game would help. He remembered how Duncan started an alliance with the guys to start whittling away at the girls' numbers not long after the merge during season one, so maybe something like that would help get them talking to him again. "We're gonna have to pull our weight if we want to make it an even match for the bros."
"…"
"…"
But neither went for it. Instead both DJ and Harold had enough of Geoff and simply picked up their trays of food and went over to a different table in order to avoid Geoff. "Oh man…" Geoff groaned out as he planted his face on the table. He wasn't gonna go after them and try even more, they made it loud and clear that they wanted nothing to do with him. He just had to deal with the consequences of his actions. "I really am in deep crap…"
"Oh don't let them get to you," Speaking up and sitting next to Geoff was Ronnie Anne. The Hispanic teen had seen and heard everything that went on between Geoff and the two guys and saw this as a prime opportunity to work with Geoff even more. Yeah he did his job in getting rid of Lincoln but having a pawn is always a useful thing and if Geoff can get her further in the game then no harm in working him even more to ensure she'd make it to the finale. "What you did was completely valid, you shouldn't let them guilt you about it. What matters now is taking the rest of them down so the both of us can get to the final two!"
"…Leave me alone dude," But to Ronnie Anne's surprise, Geoff didn't even give her the time of day! Instead the party dude just sent her a sour look before blowing her off completely with Geoff standing up and deciding to accept his fate of eating all alone, leaving a dumbfounded Ronnie Anne alone.
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"I don't get it! He's gone! He lost! I won!" Ronnie Anne ranted out, referring to how Lincoln was gone and out of the game. "But…why doesn't it feel like I did?!"
"Hey Dawn, Bridgette," Lindsay finally spoke up to her fellow blonds after the uncomfortable silence went on for much longer than she would have preferred. She had to find a way to try and cheer up the two somehow, at the very least so they could perform at their best for whenever the next challenge was. "I know you two are taking Lincoln's eliminations and what Geoff did pretty hard, but we can't let it throw us off our game! We girlfriends gotta stick together after all and push past everything that happened!"
"I know you mean well Lindsay, you're a kind spirit," Dawn complimented Lindsay, the platinum blond lightly stroking Edward's back as the platypus laid down next to the aura reader. "It's just…a lot has happened…"
"Yeah, to say the least…" Bridgette muttered out, briefly raising her head up to shoot Geoff an ice cold glare. While it was at the back of his head so the party dude didn't see it, he could definitely feel it as he shivered in discomfort.
"Hmmmm…" Lindsay hummed as she tried to think of something to do to help at least make the two smile. Words weren't gonna do the trick so there had to be something else she could do to brighten the mood. But after some thinking and looking around, Lindsay looked down at Edward as an idea came to her head. Slipping under the table, Lindsay grabbed Edward from where he was laying. The platypus blinked a bit in surprise as Lindsay raised him up so his head was above the table where she was sitting. Before the Platypus could do anything about it, Lindsay began talking through him in a goofy sounding voice. "Hey come on everyone! Cheer up! You know what I do when I'm sad? I give someone a biiiiig hug!"
"Brbrbr?" Edward let out in confusion over what Lindsay was doing. However it did seem to do the job that Lindsay wanted as a small smile did end up coming to both Dawn and Bridgette. Lindsay peaked up and saw this and beamed a little as she kept it up.
"Now come here!" Lindsay then spread Edward's forelegs apart to make it look like he was offering the surfer girl a hug. "I got plenty of love to give!"
"Alright then," Bridgette relented and took the platypus from Lindsay and brought Edward in for a hug. Edward didn't fight against this and leaned into the blond surfer's embrace as he knew she needed this right now. And it seemed to help a bit as Bridgette found herself smiling a bit more as she cuddled the platypus. "Heh, this does feel nice,"
Lindsay emerged from under the table and clapped at her success with Dawn nodding at Lindsay, appreciating the blond's successful efforts of raising morale, even if it was just a little bit.
But just as things were about to go back to the tense and awkward silence.
BLAAAAAAARE!!!
Suddenly everyone was caught off guard by the blaring sound of a trumpet playing. Suddenly Chef walked into the tent, the buff cook having left the kitchen after serving Geoff his food, and was now wearing a buttoned up shirt, black vest, black tie, sunglasses, a black fedora, black long pants, and dance shoes. Chef was gleefully playing a song on the trumpet as all eyes were quickly brought towards him.
SNAP! SNAP! SNAP!
As the rhythm of Chef's song picked up, snapping fingers were heard as Chris entered the tent wearing an outfit that matched Chef's. And if this wasn't already enough…Chris began to sing.
Chris:
Well, well, well, what do we have here~
Couple of kids drawn to the atmosphere~
I mean who can blame them, the lights, the sounds~
There's nothing but excitement all around~!
The constants all looked confused at Chris suddenly going into song, with a few of them sporting annoyed looks at it.
Chris:
But can they even cut it? This is showbiz after all~
Don't got what it takes, enjoy the fall~
Who's gonna be the top dog signing autographs~
Is it you~? Or you~? Or you~? Or you~?
"Yeah!" Harold said with a grin as Chris began pointing at various contestants with him being the last one.
Chris:
Ha! Don't make me laugh~!
Chris sang that right in Harold's face before he moved to the middle of the tent and showed off his tap dancing skills. As much as most of the remaining seven would hate to admit it…Chris has some great dancing skills as he tapped danced perfectly before breaking out into song once again.
Chris:
It's time for satisfaction~!
It ain't a fraction~!
It's the main attraction~!
It's Total Drama Actioooooooooon~!
Chris then finished up by striking a pose and breathing heavily, a few drops of sweat falling down the host's face showing how much effort it took. After regaining his breath, Chris stood up straight and was about to talk but was cut off as Chef continued blowing the trumpet. "Enough Chef!" Chris yelled out, getting Chef to cut off his playing. Though the buff cook did look irritated as he did so. He was just getting started! "Know when to cut off dude, no one likes a show off."
"Woohoo!" Following the performance was Lindsay clapping and cheering, the ditzy blond having probably enjoyed the little show the most out of the remaining seven contestants. "Encore! Encore!"
"Would love to Lindsay, but I'm afraid we got a schedule to keep. But, I'll send ya a CD later!" Lindsay seemed happy with that and nodded her head. With all attention turned to him, Chris adjusted his suit as he got ready to explain what today had in store for the contestants. "Hope your vocal cords are prepared for today contestants, because you'll be needing them in today's movie genre…musicals!"
"Musicals?" Ronnie Anne groaned out. Great, she was not one for musicals. She found many of the songs from musical shows or movies just annoying and now she was probably gonna be forced to sing such songs now. "Seriously? You're gonna make us sing?"
"You bet the tap shoes you'll all be wearing today you will be!" Chris said with an eager grin, making Ronnie Anne and a few others groan a bit. Not just from Chris' words, but also the confirmation that they'll be having to tap dance as well today. "Hey you'll thank me later, you'll need the singing practice for later on~"
CONFESSIONAL – Bridgette
"I don't know what Chris means by that, and quite frankly, I don't care."Bridgette let out in a sour tone. After everything that's happened to her, singing was not something she was in the mood for even a little bit. "But I am not singing unless it's on my terms, I don't care what Chris says or does."
"Now then, musicals and songs are a form of entertainment that have existed for hundreds if not thousands of years." Chris began his usual little history lesson on the genre they were doing as the host sat down on the top of one of the tables. "From jesters singing songs making fun of their king, and getting their head chopped off if they went too far, all the way to modern times where any cartoon character could suddenly burst out into a song and everyone just goes along with it. From the musicals of kindergarten classes that parents go to out of obligation, all the way to the amazing and beyond professional work of Broadway, there's no way of denying the impact that musicals have had on the entertainment industry, and today you'll all be getting a taste of that for yourselves."
"Nice, first the rock and roll challenge and now this," Harold let out with enthusiasm. The ginger geek was one of the contestants feeling more positive about this as he didn't mind singing at all and in fact loved being able to show off his vocal skills. "I'm really loving getting to show off my mad beatboxing skills!"
"So are we gonna get a chance to practice first like with the rock and roll challenge?" DJ asked, feeling more on the neutral side of how he felt on this challenge. He didn't mind musicals, he went to go see a few live shows with his momma and he was a fan of a few musical cartoons. But singing in public was something he was rather shy about. "I mean actors and performers practice and rehearse before a show,"
"True but here we're going the cartoon route! You're all just gonna burst into song and see how it goes from there!" Chris announced making everyone let out either a worried or annoyed gasp. "I know, it should be a lot of fun. I'll explain more later, meet me at the Gilded Chris theater in half an hour, and come wearing your best! After all, actors in musicals gotta look nice and flashy to keep all eyes on them!"
And with that Chris and Chef left, leaving everyone to mentally prepare for the singing fate they would be dealt today.
CONFESSIONAL – Dawn
"Well, singing is at least a good way of releasing pent up emotions in a healthy outlet," Dawn stated a positive for today's challenge before putting on a sour look. "And believe me, everyone has A LOT they wanna say right now…"
HALF HOUR LATER
And like Chris instructed, a half hour after he explained the genre of the day to everyone all the remaining contestants went over to the Gilded Chris stadium. Also liked Chris said, they all dressed up nicely for the challenge today with all of them wearing the clothes they wear whenever they were in the VIP section, all expect Harold who was wearing a rapper outfit consisting of a gray beanie with a shirt of matching color with dark purple jeans, sunglasses, as well as some bling consisting of a gold necklace with a stopwatch attached to it.
"Welcome future musical stars!" Chris greeted all the contestants as they came into view, with Chris raising a brow as he saw what Harold was wearing. "Harold, what the heck is up with the get up dude?"
"It's my rapper attire!" Harold bragged as he happily showed off his outfit getting amused looks from most of the others with Ronnie Anne nearly scoffing and rolling her eyes. "Figured if I'd be laying down some sick beats I'd dress properly when I lay down some hot fire, dig it?"
"…Moving on," Chris immediately avoided the question as he put on his usual grin and got on with explaining the first challenge, ignoring the glare Harold was sending him through his sunglasses. "Now then, the key of any good musical is having performers that can rock it on stage, they aren't afraid of stepping into the spotlight and getting all the attention on them. And of course, they need to both be able to sing and dance in quick succession! And you'll be showing off those skills right here and now!"
The curtains of the stage were pulled away revealing the stage decorated like a Broadway set…granted nowhere near as professionally put together but the theme was still easy for everyone to see. And also littered over the stage were dance steps, with the steps coming in a variety of seven colors.
"For your first challenge, you'll all be getting up and dancing on stage. Each of you has your own set of dance steps to follow," Chris explained as he gestured to all the differently colored dance steps on the stage. "Green for Dawn, dark blue for Harold, purple for Ronnie Anne, brown for DJ, light blue for Bridgette, red for Lindsay, and pink for Geoff! You all need to follow the steps on the stage, making sure not to tumble over each other, the various stage pieces, or your own feet."
"I know I'm gonna regret asking this," Harold dared to speak up as he brought up a concern that pretty much everyone had after Chris explained the challenge. "But what happens when he misstep?"
"Simple," Chris chuckled as he pointed upward. Everyone flinched to where a bunch of loose stage lights were, each one looking like it was prime to fall on top of someone's head if they stood under it. "You're gonna be in for one heck of a headache hehe,"
"…How cliché," Ronnie Anne grumbled as she looked at all the different lights that would be raining down on them if they messed up.
"True, but still funny," Chris laughed before explaining one more rule for the challenge. "And there's one more little thing to keep in mind. Performers don't just dance after all, they gotta show off what their vocal cords are capable of by singing! But of course there's cue's to help the performers know which of them needs to sing, so over the dance number if a spotlight shines down on you, you have to start singing, and you gotta just do whatever comes to your head and everyone else following up has to keep the flow going. Refuse to sing, or screw up the rhythm, well, I'll keep what happens a surprise~"
"Well that won't be a problem for me, I love singing and dancing!" Lindsay clapped her hands, feeling giddy about performing on stage and having no issue with having to sing. "And who's gonna be providing the music?"
"Behold, the latest and greatest artist that Total Drama Action can afford…" Chris then gestured off stage where a spotlight shined down, revealing Edward wearing a hipster outfit, complete with a rasta wig and hat, and sitting on a drum set. "Edward the Platypus!"
"Brbrbrbr." Edward let out as he hit some of the drums with his tail.
"Rock on brother," Chef saluted Edward as the buff cook walked across the stage to meet up with Chris.
"Alright contestants, me and Chef will be watching you all from the VIP box so all of you get up there and be prepared to sing and dance your hearts out." Chris told the contestants as he and Chef headed off to the VIP seats while the contestants all gathered up on the stage, standing on the start of their respective dance steps. "And lights…camera…action!"
Edward stretched out on the seat of the drum set and looked like he was ready to rock out on the drums…and then proceeded to pull out a recorder and pressed a button on it that played some actual music you'd hear when attending a musical.
Once the music started everyone began dancing, looking down to follow the steps laid out on the stage. At first, everyone was rather clunky with their dancing as they looked down and tried to simply stay on the steps they were assigned instead of building up a rhythm and beginning an actual dance. And this clumsiness showed as they stumbled quite a bit, nearly tripping over various stage decorations or even each other as sometimes the various contestants would dance next to each other and would bump into one another and nearly fall. All of them wearily looked upwards and saw the loose stage lights dangling, obviously threatening to fall down at any time and give one of them one hell of a concussion.
"Come on, pick it up people! You all call that dancing?!" Chris heckled them from the VIP section, a frown on his face as he watched the contestants stumble around and hardly do anything that can be considered dancing. But that frown was soon replaced by a grin as he pulled out a remote control. "This should give you all some incentive~"
Pressing a button on it, all of the contestants watched as a spotlight shined down on stage. And the first one that would be starting the song…Dawn. "Dang it…" Dawn let out with a frown. "It would be me first…" Letting out a sigh, Dawn began singing.
Dawn:
…Long ago, this game seemed fun…
The great outdoors, under the sun~
Chris nodded in approval as he pressed the button again on the remote and the spot light shifted from Dawn to Harold. "Alright!" Harold cheered as he followed along with what Dawn sang, but in his own signature rap style.
Harold:
All a trick, all a wash!
Now all I can is-
CRASH!
"Gosh!" Harold narrowly avoided getting hit with a falling spotlight as he missed a step as he was rapping.
"Heh, he calls that rapping?" Chef said out loud with a grin as he pointed to a recovering Harold who tried to get back into the dancing flow. "I've seen better rapping from a blind person during the Holidays,"
"Hey!" Harold let out an offended tone, hearing everything Chef said. "I'd like to see you get on this trying to successfully dance and sing!"
"You first!" Chris yelled out with a shit-eating grin, but before Harold could retaliate Chris shouted out to the platypus. "Edward! Speed things up, this is a little slow paced for my taste!"
"Brbr!" Edward nodded before pressing the fast forward button on the recorder to speed up the music.
Having to keep up with the music, all the contestants struggled to speed up their messy dancing to keep up with the tempo. To make things even worse again, the spotlight began shining down again, this time on DJ. "Aw man," DJ silently groaned out before clearing his throat to sing.
DJ:
I gotta be real, about this ordeal~!
Everything about this show has lost its appeal~!
Chris grinned as he again hit the button and changed the light from shining on DJ to shining on Lindsay, who didn't hesitate to start singing once it was her turn.
Lindsay:
From day one this game wasn't fair~
CRASH!
She narrowly avoided a spotlight falling after a midstep.
Lindsay:
Watch it I just did my hair~!
Chris chuckled at the little blunder before pressing the button and making the spotlight shine down on Geoff. Rather than keeping with the theme everyone else was going for, Geoff looked towards Bridgette and sang directly at her and tried to win her over again.
Geoff:
But we met some great people on the way~
Like the hottest babe in the world I might say~
"…" But Bridgette offered Geoff nothing but an ice cold glare, and even when the spotlight began shining down on her she refused to follow up with the song. She meant what she said when she was only going to sing on her own terms.
"Come on babe," Geoff pleaded to the surfer girl, stopping his dancing to talk to her. "You can't just-"
CRASH!
"AH!" Geoff screamed as a light fell down on him, the party dude not able to dodge it in time. "Ow…"
"Wooooow," Chef let out with crossed arms. "Ya know that was really something."
"Yeah. Something terrible!" Chris heckled as he and Chef got a good laugh at the contestants expense before Chris yelled their way again. "Start over buddy, and Bridgette you're ruining the flow!"
"Tch," Was all that Bridgette let out as she crossed her arms and turned away from Chris.
CONFESSIONAL – Geoff
"Come on…there's gotta be something I can do to get back in good graces with Bridgette…" Geoff, sporting a large bump on his head, groaned as he lowered his head, trying to think of any possible way to get back on Bridgette's good side. "I just did it for her sake, I didn't mean to hurt her…"
"Let's pick it up people!" Chris yelled out as he signaled Edward to speed up the music even more, with the platypus doing just that, making everyone groan as they had to get used to the new tempo again. "Ronnie Anne, let's try and get that song started up again!"
"Madre hijo de puta…" Ronnie Anne muttered angrily as the spotlight shined down on her. Sure she could choose not to sing like Bridgette, but for all she knew that might be grounds for sudden death and she couldn't take that risk. So she decided to just bite the bullet and go along with the stupid challenges rule.
Ronnie Anne:
This show is absolute hell~
It's a wonder how I'm doing so well~
Chris nodded in satisfaction as he changed the spotlight to shine again on Dawn who was actually happy to go along with it this time as she aimed a glare at Ronnie Anne.
Dawn:
We know your tricks, we know your deception~!
Stop thinking you've won this competition~!
Ronnie Anne glared at Dawn for that but didn't get a chance to retaliate as the light shined on Harold again with the ginger geek also aiming his lyrics right at her.
Harold:
Heart as black, soul as wicked~
Hard to think anyone would like you, admit it~!
Ronnie Anne growled and aimed her ire at Harold, but again the light changed as DJ once again was given a turn to sing.
DJ:
First we thought you were as bad as Heather~
Getting to form a group of nasties together~!
"Shut up…" Ronnie Anne growled, getting ticked at everyone going after her now. And the spotlight's next target was Lindsay who sang with some more upbeat lyrics.
Lindsay:
I miss Lincoln, he was always fun~
And his little sister, hehe what a hun~
And then it was Geoff's turn again and the party dude again tried to direct himself towards Bridgette as he sang at her again.
Geoff:
I know someone who's sweeter than honey~
The love of my life, and she's worth more than money~
"…." Bridgette merely rolled her eyes at the statement, again refusing to sing as the spotlight shined down on her.
"Rhythm people! Rhythm!" Chris scolded everyone before pointing at Bridgette. "Bridgette, you're seriously on thin ice right now! Edward, max song power!"
Edward nodded his head as he set the recorder to max speed, making the music go crazy fast and causing everyone on stage to struggle to keep up. Especially as the spotlight rapidly changed who it was shining its light down on.
Harold:
We'll think twice before deciding~!
Lindsay:
About this death defying~!
CRASH!
"Eep!" Lindsay let out after narrowly avoiding a spotlight.
Dawn:
Tired of all this fighting~
Ronnie Anne:
Then you should really take a hiking~
Geoff looked towards Bridgette again as the spotlight shined on him.
Geoff:
I thought I was providing~
DJ:
I blame the wriiiiiitiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnggg~!!!
CRACK!
But when DJ sang, he struck a pitch so high that it ended up cracking the lights of the spotlights, both the one Chris was using and the ones designed to fall on them. And soon the lens of the camera cracked messing up the view of the show for the audience watching at home.
"Dang it DJ! Those are expensive!" Chris ranted as he stood up from his seat with a frown. Crossing his hand through his neck, Chris signaled for Edward to cut the music which the platypus quickly did. With the music stopped, Chris got all attention on him before speaking up about what they were doing now. "Ok, considering both the spotlight and the camera are broken, I think we're gonna have to end the challenge here. I'll decide on the winner at the start of the next challenge and give them their advantage. All of you meet me back here after an hour, that'll give us enough time to get a new camera. Oh and Bridgette, before I forget, your penalty for not singing…"
Chris snapped his fingers, causing Chef to stand up and reach into his suit and pull out a grappling hook. Before anyone could question anything, Chef shot it towards the upper railing of the stage and swung down towards Bridgette. "AAAAAAHHHH!" Bridgette yelled out as Chef scooped her up in one arm before disappearing behind the stage.
"Bridgette!" Geoff called out in concern as he and everyone watched as Bridgette was stolen by Chef. "Did she get sudden deathed?!"
"Nope, just the penalty for not singing. She is, however out of the run for invincibility!" Chris explained to the cast, making Geoff breathe a sigh of relief. "Don't worry, you'll see her again during the next challenge. I'll see you all back here in one hour,"
Once Chris left, Harold immediately confronted Geoff with a glare. "Don't act like you care if she stayed in the game or not," Harold stated as he pointed a finger at the party dude.
"Of course I care!" Geoff claimed as he gestured to where Chef had taken Bridgette. "It's Bridgette!"
"Could have fooled me with how you've been acting lately." Lindsay pointed out as she sent a nasty look to Geoff before the super alliance all left together, deciding to get some rest for the next challenge in an hour.
Geoff let out a sigh as he slumped down at everyone once again wanting nothing to do with him. As he was wallowing in self pity, he felt a hand being placed on his shoulder as Ronnie Anne gave him a sympathetic look. "You shouldn't let them get to you, you were in the right. They're the jerks for giving you the cold shoulder just because lame-o was rightfully eliminated." Ronnie Anne told the party dude, trying to sweeten him up and get him out of his funk so he could focus on helping her out. "Look, let's just focus on making sure one of us wins and they all lose! Bridgette's already out of the running, that's a good thing!"
"Ugh, I told you to leave me alone!" Geoff snapped towards Ronnie Anne, making the Hispanic teen flinch in surprise. "Nothing good came from me listening to you so just…go away,"
Geoff then stomped off, causing Ronnie Anne to glare and growl towards Geoff.
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"So not willing to help me out anymore huh?" Ronnie Anne said with a glare before shaking her head. "Well, no use on keeping him around if he's refusing to help me,"
ONE HOUR LATER
"Welcome back to Total Drama Action!" Chris said to the fresh crackless camera they got after the end of the first challenge. Once again Chris and the contestants, sans a still missing Bridgette, were gathered up on top of the Gilded Chris stage with Geoff still looking worried about what happened to Bridgette. "Where hopefully none of our contestants break our camera equipment again. DJ."
"Sorry…" DJ sheepishly apologized.
"Can you tell us what the challenge will be already?" Ronnie Anne asked in an irritated tone. The first challenge already ticked her off, and with Geoff not listening to her Ronnie Anne just wanted to win this challenge and get it over with. "And please tell me that this one will involve less singing."
"Well sorry Ronnie Anne, but there's gonna be even MORE singing involved than the first challenge!" Chris revealed with an all too pleased grin causing Ronnie Anne, and a few of the others, to groan while Lindsay happily clapped her hands. "Now then, while everyone's attention when watching a musical is gonna be on the main stage where the performers are singing and dancing, there's plenty of magic that goes on backstage. After all, who do you think works the lights, changes the stage props, and helps put everything together? Without stage hands and workers all performances would be rather on the hollow side,"
CONFESSIONAL – Harold
"And yet who gets all the credit for big musicals and stage productions? The performers of course!" Harold stated with crossed arms and a scoff. "What do they know about setting up the perfect stage? Or getting the lighting and sound just right? Or literally everything that goes on during production for a show? Justice for all the stagehands, they're the REAL stars of Broadway!"
"But of course, sometimes there can be problems backstage. Sometimes one of the lights is loose, a prop or two gets lost, or even…sabotage!" Chris announced the last part dramatically, making a few of the contestants' eyes widen. "If you'll all follow me backstage…"
Chris then directed the contestants to follow him behind the curtains of the Gilded Chris stage. And doing so, they saw something that surprised them quite a bit. "What the…" Geoff let out as he and everyone looked around. The behind of the stage was rather spacious and it was filled with multiple levels of catwalks with sets of stairs and ladders that led up to the upper parts of them. "This was back here this whole time dude?"
"How else do you think I got that perfect lighting during the Gilded Chris Ceremony," Chris bragged as he showed off his flawless smile before he started to explain the last challenge of the day. "But unfortunately, a villain lurks in the shadows of the backstage, threatening to mess up and ruin the ceremony tonight! May I introduce the big bad of the challenge…"
Just then a shadow figure began swinging from the highest catwalks all the way at the top of the backstage area. But when he finally landed on top of one of the catwalks, a spotlight shined on him revealing his identity. "The Chef of the Opera!" Sure enough, it was Chef who was still wearing the suit he was in earlier but he no longer was wearing the fedora and now sported a white mask that covered half of his face. "He's keen to ruin everything tonight and I need you all to stop him! Make your way up the catwalk and take him down, but be careful. He has plenty of ways of keeping you all at bay!"
Just then another spotlight went off revealing a pile of barrels behind Chef who grinned down at the six contestants as his arsenal had been revealed. "Oh cool! It's like real life Donkey Kong!" Harold grinned despite everyone looking worried at Chef being armed with a bunch of barrels to chuck at them. "Do we get any hammers?"
"As a matter of fact, that's the reward for the winner of the first challenge!" Chris revealed as he pulled out a large wooden mallet, perfect for smashing barrels that rolled in your way. "And after some thinking about it, while he did break our equipment, that high note is something many Broadway performers only wish they could reach! So DJ, here ya go!"
"Alright!" DJ cheered as Chris tossed him the mallet.
"But that's not all, for leverage Chef of the Opera has also taken a hostage, may I present our very own Christine!" Chris snapped his fingers causing another spotlight to go off next to Chef revealing a grumpy looking Bridgette tied up in a chair making everyone gasp. "To win the challenge, make it to the top level of the catwalk, rescue Bridgette, and stop Chef of the Opera's villainous ways! Oh and before I forget, none of you are allowed to talk during the challenge! If you gotta say something, sing it! Failure to do so will lead to instant disqualification of the challenge."
"Uuuuugh…" A few of the contestants let out, Ronnie Anne being the loudest.
"Alright, everyone! Take your positions! There are six ways to make your way up and they're first come first serve," Chris said before walking away to sit down on a director's chair to watch the show, with Edward sitting on a small chair next to his with a bucket of popcorn for the two of them to share. "And lights…"
"Don't worry Bridgette! I'll save you!" Geoff called out to Bridgette, looking up at her as he gave the surfer girl a big smile. But once again, the only thing Bridgette gave him in response was a bitter scoff making Geoff sigh and slump down. "Man…I just don't know what to do…I've tried to help her but she is still mad at me. I don't understand…"
"…You don't understand?" Dawn repeated as she slowly turned to Geoff, a deep glare on the nature girl's face.
"Camera…" Chris counted down as music began blaring throughout the area.
"You don't understand?" Dawn said again with a growl.
"Aaaaand…" Chris grinned at the tension as the music blared even louder.
"You. Don't. Understand?!" Soon enough Dawn's words made everyone, sans Ronnie Anne, begin glaring at Geoff.
"Showtime~!" Chris clapped his hands to officially start the challenge.
And everyone immediately started racing up, climbing up the ladders to reach the first level of the catwalk. And Chef also got to work at throwing barrels down at the contestants, the barrels rolling down the levels of the catwalk, heading downward fast and causing the contestants to begin jumping over barrels that came their way, all except DJ who was easily able to smash any that rolled in front of him with the mallet he was provided.
But as they made their way upward, the first one to start singing was Dawn who had to vent out all her frustrations towards Geoff.
Dawn:
Of all the air headed, thick skulled, ignorant things you've ever said~!
I've warned you before about the path you boldly tread~!
So sure of yourself, such certainty on all your senses~!
But now you have to face the consequences~!
Geoff felt chills going up his spine as soon everyone began chanting towards him, except for Ronnie Anne.
Dawn, DJ, Harold, Lindsay:
Consequences~!
Consequences~!
Consequences~!
Consequences~!
Consequences~!
And Geoff didn't have a chance to retaliate as he both narrowly avoided getting run over by a barrel, and right after that Harold began singing in a fast paced rap.
Harold:
Hold there guy let's take a step back~
You listened to his ex, bro that's whack~
She's been nothing but evil and mean~
For everyone here that's plain to see~
Except for you, obviously~!
You think you're the good guy~?
Once Harold was finished, Geoff finally got the chance to try and defend himself through song.
Geoff:
But I must be~!
I've always had her best interest at heart~!
Frowning after jumping over another barrel, Lindsay sung up in retaliation to Geoff's words.
Lindsay:
Could've fooled me when you ripped it apart~!
Lincoln was cool, couldn't you see~?
Guess not, with all that jealousy~!
"Hey!" Geoff let out, making sure to sing it so as to not get instantly disqualified. Unfortunately for the party dude, even DJ began calling him out when the brickhouse started singing as he destroyed every barrel that came his way.
DJ:
Sorry man, I can't stand by your defences~
I'm afraid you'll have to face the consequences~
And much to Geoff's dismay, everyone began chanting at him again.
Dawn, DJ, Harold, Lindsay:
Consequences~!
Consequences~!
Consequences~!
Consequences~!
Consequences~!
Hearing all this, Geoff sped up as he tried to make his way to the top faster than ever before to try and reach Bridgette first.
Geoff:
Can't you see I was trying to protect her~!
Don't you understand, he was a danger~!
But Dawn wasn't about to let Geoff continue bad mouthing her boyfriend and sang against Geoff's claims.
Dawn:
No matter what excuse you make~!
You were fed lies by a snake~!
Growling as she jumped over a barrel, Ronnie Anne was not about to let Dawn getaway with insulting her like that and reluctantly sung back in retaliation.
Ronnie Anne:
Not my fault you're all bad at the game~
It looks like you don't want the glory or fame~!
Now the attention was focused on Ronnie Anne with everyone refusing to let her get any sort of leg up.
Harold:
Go ahead, laugh all you want~
You won't be so nonchalant~!
Lindsay joined in as she ended up on the same catwalk Ronnie Anne was one and dashed towards her.
Lindsay:
Once we're done with this big meanie~
We'll come after you queenie~!
"AH!" Ronnie Anne let out as Lindsay passed her, knocking her down in the process. Growling, Ronnie Anne was about to get up and retaliate against the blond…until a barrel came by and ran her over. "Ow…"
"Oooooo, shoulda sung that that ow there Ronnie Anne," Chris stated with a grin while shaking his head. "You're disqualified~!"
"WHAT?!" Ronnie Anne shrieked as she stood up, her face already going red with rage. She was out…because she didn't sing an ow?! After getting hit by a barrel!? "THAT'S BULL(BLEEP)!!!"
"Maybe, but you're still out," Chris firmly told Ronnie Anne as the Hispanic continued to fume in anger as she unwillingly made her way back down.
With the super alliance grinning at Ronnie Anne getting out, that just left Geoff to take care of as DJ sang up again.
DJ:
Both of you got your way at our expenses~!
Won't be long till you face the consequences~!
Dawn, DJ, Harold, Lindsay:
Consequences~!
Consequences~!
Consequences~!
Consequences~!
Consequences~!
"No, no, no…" Geoff quietly sang out, still making sure that he was singing so he didn't end up getting disqualified like Ronnie Anne. A few of the others were above him and getting closer to Bridgette, especially the likes of DJ who was able to smash up any and all barrels in his way. He needed to act and think fast if he was gonna reach Bridgette first and win both the challenge and hopefully her heart back.
Then he eyed the railing and got an idea…he could get totally messed up if he slips but he's been doing skateboarding tricks and parkour for years now. He just had to try or he was going to lose. Gritting his teeth, Geoff jumped on the railing of the catwalk he was on. Gaining his balance, he jumped up again and managed to grab onto the next level of catwalk above him.
Grunting, Geoff used all the strength he could to flip himself up on the catwalk again before spotting one of the stage ropes dangling from above. Grinning, Geoff jumped towards it and started climbing up it to reach the top. Everyone saw this and gasped and tried to speed up their way to the top but unfortunately it wasn't enough as Geoff got to the top where Chef of the Opera and Bridgette awaited.
Jumping off the rope, Chef narrowed his eyes and charged at Geoff. Geoff narrowed his eyes at the buff cook and charged at him as well. But when the two were about to meet, Geoff tucked and rolled underneath Chef's legs before kicking Chef in the back of his foot and sending the buff cook tripping over the railing. "AAAAAAAAAHHH!!!" Chef screamed before he fell to the ground with a loud thud.
"Alright!" Geoff pumped a fist in victory as he looked down at Chef's fallen form. "I wooooooon~!!!"
"Not yet bro!" Chris yelled out to Geoff before he could celebrate too much. "Still gotta rescue the damsel there,"
Geoff nodded with a grin as he went over to Bridgette and untied her from the chair and he was about to take her hand so he could officially rescue her and win the challenge. But before he could, Bridgette ended up slapping his hand away. "No," The blond refused to be rescued by Geoff as she turned herself and the chair away from the party dude.
"Come on Bridge…" Geoff whispered to her so hopefully Chris wouldn't hear him not sing. "Please, I need you to help me win this…"
"I don't…Geoff please…" Bridgette shook her head, unable to form proper words as she talked to him. "Just leave me alone…"
"But Bridge…" Geoff pleaded to the surfer girl, seeing how upset she was about everything that has happened recently. "Let me explain myself at least…"
Just then somber music began playing in the background as everyone stopped to watch the two. Bridgette swore she was only gonna sing today on her own terms…and now she was ready to sing.
Bridgette:
…My heart is brokeeeen~
I wish I awakened~
So that I could seeeee~
What you'd do to me~
Geoff winced at the heart broken tone and lyrics of Bridgette's song.
Geoff:
Never once, never twice~
Thought I'd ever pay the price~
To protect youuuuuuu~
That's all I wanted to do~
Geoff/Bridgette:
Can't you seeeeee~ I'm protecting you, cause you mean so much to me~/ Can't you seeeeee~ You're hurting me, do I mean so much to you~?
Bridgette:
We had some fun, we had some laughs~
Deep in my heart, I thought they'd last~
Before I could count, to number four~
I don't even know, who you are anymore~
Geoff:
Just the same guy, who'd do anything…to keep you safe like a precious ring~
Within my arms, that I swore~
I'm the same, as before~
Geoff/Bridgette:
I loooooove you, just tell me what to do~/I looooooved you, I don't know what to do~
I'd do anything, anything for youuuu/I'd do anything, if I only knewwww~
Bridgette:
You've hurt me, beyond compare~
He was my friend, why don't you care~
You were harsh, no empathy~
What's worst of all, you don't trust me~
Geoff:
Bridge, you're my girlfriend~
Losing you, would mean the end~
I did the right thing, you don't understand~
If I did nothing, you'd fall like he planned~
Hearing this, Bridgette finally turned to Geoff and stood up as she met his eyes with a fierce glare.
Geoff/Bridgette:
Can't you seeeeee~ I'm protecting you, cause you mean so much to me~/ Can't you seeeeee~ You're hurting me, do I mean so much to you~?
Geoff:
I was trying to keep you saaaafe, I never wanted to make you cryyyy~
Bridgette:
What once was love is now just haaaate, all that's left to say is…goodbye…
"W-What?" Geoff stuttered after hearing that last part. Bridgette…couldn't mean what he thought it would mean right? "Bridgette…what are you saying?"
"What I'm saying is…WE'RE THROUGH!" Before Geoff could even begin processing that, Bridgette rushed up to him and pushed her now ex-boyfriend from the top of the catwalk.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!" Geoff screamed all the way down, and to make matters worse he ended up getting hit by a few things on the way down making the fall all the more painful before it finally ended with Geoff hitting the ground.
"Ooooooouf!" Chris couldn't help but wince at both the emotional and physical pain Geoff felt, but the host still had his usual grin on his face. "Dumped on international television, harsh, hehe."
CONFESSIONAL – Dawn
"I truly wish it didn't have to turn out this way," Dawn shook her head, feeling bad for the pain Bridgette was no doubt facing now. "But Geoff spelled out his own demise."
CONFESSIONAL – Harold
"Serves ya right traitor!" Harold yelled out, feeling no sympathy for Geoff after everything he's done. "You don't deserve a girl like Bridgette!"
CONFESSIONAL – Lindsay
"You know what they say, you reap what you sow," Lindsay gave a firm nod as she crossed her arms. "Karma was just doing its job,"
CONFESSIONAL – DJ
"Can't say I'm surprised by that, dude had it coming," DJ let out with a sigh as he shook his head. "Can't help but feel a little bad, Geoff used to be one of my closest friends back on the island and seeing all this…it just hurts man,"
"Since Bridgette refused to let Geoff save her, invincibility is still up for grabs!" Chris announced to everyone that the challenge was still on. "Unless she decides to let someone else tumble and fall too, haha,"
Harold narrowed his eyes as he let his mad skills kick in. Remembering what Geoff did, Harold jumped off the catwalk and grabbed one of the stage ropes and began climbing upwards to reach Bridgette. Everyone saw this and didn't move at all, allowing Harold to make it to the top.
Silently, Harold reached the blond surfer girl who had now began to cry as her eyes were now wet with tears. Harold simply held a hand out to her, allowing for Bridgette to take it and counting as a rescue. "And Harold wins!" Chris announced as he stood up from his director's chair. "That means the rest of you will have to decide on who's going home tonight, other than Harold of course."
"Uuuugh…" Geoff let out, though it was hard to tell if it was from physical pain or the pain of heartbreak.
"Oh right, guess we should get you patched up too eh lover boy?" Chris chuckled a bit before calling out. "Medic!"
CONFESSIONAL – Bridgette
"Maybe pushing him off was a little too harsh…" Bridgette quietly let out, her face stained with tear streaks. But despite her words she sent the camera in front of her a harsh glare. "But I don't regret doing what I did…"
LATER THAT DAY
Geoff was by himself in the medical bay as he was patched up after what happened during the challenge. No one had come to visit him and ask if he was alright…but he couldn't blame anyone. He…probably wouldn't wanna see himself either if he was in their position. But being alone gave him time to process and think about everything.
About his actions over the season, him constantly listening to Ronnie Anne and believing her, his animosity towards Lincoln, getting him eliminated…and Bridgette ending things between them.
He just…wished he could talk about it all with someone.
"Hey man," But much to Geoff's surprise, he actually got his wish granted. Stepping into the infirmary was DJ who seemed to have a neutral look on his face, but Geoff could see a bit of sympathy in his eyes. "How you holding up,"
"Bout as well as I can be…all things considered…" Geoff answered with a solemn tone. DJ nodded, understanding that answer as he sat down in one of the chairs in the room. "Hey DJ…can I ask you something,"
"Shoot," DJ said, allowing Geoff to ask him what's on his mind.
"…Where did it all start going wrong?" DJ could hear cracks in Geoff's voice as he spoke this, the mere process of just talking about it getting the party dude emotional. "Between me and Bridgette…"
DJ knew this was gonna be what Geoff was gonna ask. Letting out a deep sigh, DJ thought about his words carefully before speaking up to Geoff. "Look…I don't know much about being a boyfriend. Jasmine left the same day I confessed so I know I got some learning to do regarding relationships. But I do know one thing that is important in all parts of relationships, romantic and platonic. Trust." DJ began explaining to Geoff as he lowered his head and listened to the brickhouse's words. "Even though you say you wanted to protect her, from her point of view it looked like you didn't trust her at all. Especially when it came to someone as close as Lincoln."
"I-I just…just…" Geoff tried to validate his actions but…couldn't find anything to say.
"Just what Geoff?" DJ asked rather aggressively, wanting Geoff to actually explain himself. "You just wanted to what?"
"…I didn't want to lose her…" Geoff finally released, his words weighing heavily on him as he finally admitted what he did was wrong. "And yeah…looking back I was getting jealous of Lincoln getting close to her."
"You know girls can have guy friends that are completely platonic right?" DJ pointed out with crossed arms. "Like Gwen and Duncan,"
"I know that dude. It's just…Bridgette…was special." Geoff further explained the reason behind his actions towards DJ. "Bridgette wasn't my first relationship but…it was the first relationship that felt like it actually meant something. It wasn't just some fling, I guess deep down…I thought she'd leave me for someone better."
"…You should have told her that," DJ told the person he still wanted to consider a friend. But he continued to keep his tone firm so this lesson would truly drill itself into Geoff's head. "Be honest with her, trust her with your feelings."
"I thought she'd understand…" Geoff sighed out sadly.
"Girls aren't psychic man…well, except Dawn but that's besides the point." DJ shook his head as he got back on track. "But you can't expect them to understand everything going on in your head, you gotta communicate. That's what my momma taught me."
"…You're right…" Geoff admitted. DJ was right about everything. He should have properly talked to Bridgette about all this from the beginning.
"Communication is key, and a big part of trust," DJ further explained, glad that Geoff was understanding the lesson he was giving him. "If you can't trust to share your feelings, then a relationship is doomed to fall apart."
"….So what should I do?" Geoff asked DJ, desperate to find a way to make things up to Bridgette and apologize to her.
"That's up for you to decide," DJ told him, making Geoff look down. "There's no quick fix to this,"
"…." Geoff was silent, but he knew that DJ was right. There was no way he could just instantly fix this no matter what he did.
"Just think about it ok man?" DJ told Geoff with a friendly tone as he got up and gently patted Geoff's leg in encouragement. I'll see ya later Geoff."
And with that, DJ left Geoff alone once more allowing the party dude to think about how he could at least start.
THE GILDED CHRIS CEREMONY
The iconic music and lights of the Gilded Chris ceremony blaired throughout the film lot as it was time for yet another elimination ceremony. Chris walked up the front of the stage in his blue suit while Harold sat by himself in the VIP section while everyone else sitting down in the bleachers with Geoff patched up and everyone glaring at him. "Man, today has just been quite eventful hasn't it gang?" Chris announced with a chuckle. "Plenty of singing and dancing, and not to mention a good old fashioned heart break. That'll be trending on Twitter, haha,"
CONFESSIONAL – Chris
"That's right, TWITTER," Chris said rather aggressively. "Ain't calling it a single letter, that's dumb."
CONFESSIONAL – Bridgette
"…" Bridgette was silent as she flipped off the camera.
"Now you all know the process by now," Chris stated as everyone of the final seven pulled out the voting boxes. "Other than Harold, select the cast you wish to be cut from the competition for good!"
CONFESSIONAL – Dawn
"While Ronnie Anne is vulnerable…there's truly no other choice for who to vote out," Dawn explained bitterly.
CONFESSIONAL – Harold
"See you never traitor!" Harold slammed his fist down on the vanity.
CONFESSIONAL – Lindsay
"You gave us no choice," Lindsay's voice was full of disappointment.
CONFESSIONAL – DJ
"Wish it didn't have to be this way man…" DJ shook his head, sadness clear in his voice.
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"He's useless to me now," Ronnie Anne said without a care in the world.
CONFESSIONAL – Geoff
"…I know what I gotta do…" Geoff lowered his head somberly.
"And the results are in!" Chris announced as Chef walked up to him with both the results of the vote and five Gilded Chris Awards. But when Chris looked over the results the hosts' eyes widened a bit in surprise. "We-e-e-ell, what do we have here~ Well this is certainly a surprise! For the first time in Total Drama history the votes are absolutely 100% undeniably unanimous!" Chris' announcement caused a few surprised looks among the remaining cast as Chris began tossing statues to the safe contestants. "If that's the case I won't even bother trying to build the tension, Geoff, you're outta here!"
"I know…" Geoff didn't fight at all as he got up and began making his way towards the lameosine. "For what it's worth dudes…I'm sorry…"
But despite the apology, Dawn, Harold, and Lindsay still gave Geoff dirty looks. Ronnie Anne looked completely apathetic to the whole thing. Bridgette couldn't even stand to look at Geoff. Only DJ offered some form of sympathy as he waved to Geoff as the party dude left. "See ya on the flip side man…" DJ muttered to Geoff as he watched the party dude enter the lameosine and leave Total Drama Action forever.
"Wow the drama. The ratings are gonna be killer!" Chris grinned at the thought as he rubbed his hands together. "What will the contestants face with only six remaining? Will Ronnie Anne avoid elimination again? Will Harold's singing ever improve? Probably not."
"Hey!" Harold yelled angrily.
"But all this and more next time on Total…Drama…Action!" And with that, Chris finished the outro as yet another episode ended.
LATER THAT NIGHT
"Hey guys, wait up," Currently everyone was heading back to the trailers to get some rest after the incredibly long and emotionally draining day they had. But as Bridgette, Dawn, and Lindsay were about to head into the trailer together DJ and Harold stopped them with the former speaking up. "Me and Harold talked about it and after everything that happened…we were thinking maybe you three could join us in the guys' trailer?"
"Thought it'd be fun to spend some time together," Harold stated as he looked towards Bridgette. "Maybe a big sleepover will help take your mind off things?"
"…Ya know what...I'd like that…" Bridgette did manage a small smile, grateful for DJ and Harold's kindness. "Thanks guy…you two up for it as well?"
"Of course," Dawn gently told Bridgette, putting a hand on her friend's shoulder.
"Yeah! Sounds like fun!" Lindsay said with enthusiasm as the three girls joined the guys in their trailer.
"…Fine," Meanwhile watching all this was Ronnie Anne, who grumbled as she watched everyone stick together leaving her completely alone. "Least I get the trailer to myself."
But when Ronnie Anne tried to make herself comfy in the empty trailer, she found herself unable to relax in the totally silent and lonely trailer.
