"Thank you, Vice Manager Harris," Rachel said, her voice trembling with excitement.
She had been in shock all morning, everything felt so surreal it made her dizzy.
Rachel knew she wasn't qualified enough to become a planning specialist yet, but since Vice Manager Harris had announced it in front of everyone, she couldn't possibly refuse.
Still, she planned to talk to Kellan once she got back. They couldn't keep breaking company rules like this.
Holly watched the Vice Manager's attitude toward Rachel and couldn't hide the bitterness in her eyes. Exchanging glances with her colleagues, she quietly walked with them to the pantry.
Kylie crossed her arms. "I've never seen anyone get promoted after just two or three days of work."
Willa scoffed, "Yeah, Manager Harris is being way too biased. I've been here for over two years, and I'm still a planning assistant."
Holly sneered, her voice sharp. "Please, don't compare yourself to her. Her status is different."
