Then he walked right past her and took his seat without another glance.
Dai Yuner stood frozen in place, her whole figure rigid.
'No brains? What does that mean? Did he just question my intelligence? Me? Ice-snow clever me?!'
'This is beyond insulting—unbearable! Absolutely intolerable!'
Just as she was about to scream in rage, Dai Yueyan rushed over and pulled her back.
Even so, her eyes were fixed on Gu You like daggers.
'I've got a little gift prepared for you, just wait and see.' A cold smile tugged at her lips.
After all, soul tools were allowed in matches. She had specially requested several excellent ones from her father.
Dai Yueyan didn't know what to say anymore. Was Gu You born just to clash with his precious sister?

The truth was, few people truly knew the depth of Princess Yuner's strength. Most were unsure what level she had reached.
On paper, she was only a five-ring Soul King—not even a one-word battle armor master. Although her soul rings were of high quality, that didn't mean much on its own. She was ranked last among the Eight Heavenly Kings. And Gu You had already defeated Su Mu in seconds. This duel didn't look promising.
But rumors claimed the princess was a once-in-a-generation royal genius, her potential surpassing even her brother Dai Yueyan. Some even whispered that she had inherited a mysterious ability from their ancient bloodline.
Just what kind of power did she really hold?
