Rin trudged toward the kitchen with Niblet trailing after him. His bare feet padded softly against the cold marble floor, and he couldn't help but glance around as they walked.
The hallway was dark and gloomy, but the second he opened the kitchen door, his breath caught.
"Holy... wow."
The kitchen was huge. No, huge didn't even cover it... It was massive. It looked like a high-end culinary studio wrapped in pristine white marble and black counters that gleamed like they were polished daily. Rin blinked, expecting to see at least one sign of life... Perhaps... burnt crumbs, a faint smell of garlic... anything.
But there was nothing. The place was so clean, it was suspicious.
"Has anyone ever cooked here?" Rin whispered to himself.
