"Father..." Julian whispered as his eyes became watery. It hurt! Really bad! Not the cut his father made on his neck but because he finally got caught.
After hiding it for so many years, he never thought his secret would get discovered by his father. He felt the blood trickling down to stain the collar of his shirt.
"Forgive me, Father..." He muttered, unable to hold back his tears.
Just then, he felt the cold steel pulling away from his neck, followed by a fist grabbing his hair, making him snap his eyes wide open. He gasped loudly, holding back his urge to moan in pain. He didn't want to look weak in front of his father.
"Forgive you?" His father asked. "Tell me one reason I should forgive you. Go ahead, Julian,"
Evan stood there, waiting for Julian's response but it never came. Just when he was about to speak again, the door opened and someone walked in, falling to his knees.
"Please, pardon him, Your Grace!" He said, with his forehead slamming the floor.
