----------------------------------------------------------

Morgan le Fay stood quietly at the door, looked left and right, and after confirming no one was around, she pressed her ear to the door, held her breath, and carefully listened to the sounds inside the room.

To be honest, such a sneaky act was truly unbefitting the dignified image of the Goddess of Death, but she had no choice; she cared more about her sister than her goddess image.

However, sneaking into the room now was impossible. If even that failed, Lily would probably kill her, her imperial sister.

After confirming the faint sounds of heavy breathing coming from the room, Morgan finally relaxed and walked away from the door.

Just in case, she had already set up a barrier at the door; normally, no one could enter. The rest was up to Lily.

Hmm... but she still had to guard against Agravain.

Speaking of which, why hadn't she seen him all day today? Morgan ambled down the evening corridor, her heart filled with doubt. Usually, she saw Agravain almost every day. Her main target for prevention tonight was that good-for-nothing adopted son, yet he hadn't appeared at all today. Gawain had also disappeared with Agravain. Gawain was a very smart person, and Morgan was quite confident in her other adopted son, but their simultaneous disappearance was quite concerning.

While thinking, Morgan walked towards the end of the corridor. As she happened to pass the administrative office, Morgan's steps slowed slightly, and she tilted her head to look, her eyes filled with suspicion. It was already late at night, so why was the administrative office still so brightly lit?

Pushing the door open, she saw two men sitting on a long bench in the room: one looked quite handsome, while the other had a face as gloomy as a dark wizard.

These two, who were opposite extremes, were both sitting on chairs, working overtime approving some documents. Perhaps it was because the weather was too cold, Gawain even draped his coat over Agravain's shoulder, their relationship appearing quite good.

"You two... why are you still here?" Morgan couldn't help but ask. Her eyes were full of confusion and bewilderment.

"Mother," Gawain looked up, his usual smile completely gone, his face etched with worry. "Could you say something to King Arthur on my behalf?"

"What?" Morgan asked.

"It really wasn't me who said it!" Gawain said in a tragic tone.

"What wasn't you who said it? Explain yourself clearly." Morgan frowned.

"It's just..." Gawain roughly explained the whole story.

After careful questioning, Morgan finally understood and looked at Agravain with eyes full of relief. He had finally grown up and learned to provide an assist. These Knights of the Round Table were usually useless, but at crucial moments, they still had some use.

"You did well this time, I'm very pleased, Agravain."

Morgan said with great satisfaction, then walked to a nearby chair and sat down, picked up a document from the table and quickly scanned it, then crossed her legs and looked up, continuing, "I've decided to reward you."

"How about this, I'll let you go back and have a good rest, how about that?" Morgan asked. Agravain's heart swelled with joy, but his face remained gloomy. He calmly said,

"That might not be so good...?"

"Hmm, you think so too? That's fine then, I'll reward you in another way," Morgan took out a small stack of documents from the drawer. "I also have some of these accounts and other documents that I haven't processed yet.

This is a good opportunity to hone your abilities, so you can do these documents tonight as well." Saying this, Morgan placed her accounts in front of Agravain's desk, then stood up, her high heels clicking on the floor as she walked out of the room, leaving only a faint remark:

"Keep up the good work."

Agravain: "..."

Heavy breathing echoed in the room. It was already late at night since Artoria entered the room. Just as she had declared, she hoped Asher's White Dragon body could endure. The maiden's fair skin was already covered in sweat, her gaze fixed on Asher's eyes, a smile gracing her lips. After so long, she had finally... finally reached the starting line.

Artoria's eyes were slightly dazed, and for no reason, she recalled the various things that had happened in the past.

Thinking about it, she had failed so many times... she herself had forgotten. If it weren't for her imperial sister's help, she probably would still be failing. But thinking about these things now was meaningless. Now, she had reached the starting line!

"Lily, isn't that enough...?" A weak voice came from below, pulling Artoria back to reality. She looked down at Asher.

"Not enough," Artoria shook her head. Asher was on the verge of despair. He raised his hand, gesturing to the handcuffs binding his wrists, and said, "Then at least unlock the handcuffs!" Why did everyone like to play this kind of game? He wasn't going to escape or anything, so why did they have to use these things to restrain him?

He couldn't move, which was very uncomfortable for Asher. No, perhaps any normal person would find it very uncomfortable.

"I'll unlock them, just wait a little longer." Artoria leaned down, her gaze fixed on Asher's eyes. "I won't let you escape this time." She sealed Asher's lips with her soft ones again.

This time, she would take out all her previous frustration on Asher, letting him know what the Red Dragon was like when angry. That's right, three or four times weren't enough, she needed more, more...

...

Time unconsciously slipped into the latter half of the night. How much happened during this period actually requires no further description; those with rich imaginations can fill in the blanks themselves.

Moreover, it was merely a battle between two dragons, and most people probably had no interest in battles between dragons, so there was no need to elaborate.

Meanwhile, on the other side. A purple-haired beautiful girl was quietly lying on a soft bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. This beautiful girl was indeed Skadi. Today, Skadi tossed and turned in bed but couldn't fall asleep no matter what. Her mind kept replaying the events of the past few days. Ever since that day when she saw the phantom emerging from Asher's body was not the god she was looking for, Skadi had been quite shaken.

After that, she thought for a long time about where the problem lay and finally came to a conclusion either there were other gods in Asher, or it was a prank by the god she was looking for. But that shouldn't be the case; that person should have been dead.

After much thought, Skadi sat up from the bed. Since that was the case, she would just take another blood sample. As long as she confirmed the person projected again, she could give up. Thinking this, Skadi left her room and walked towards Asher's direction. Knock, knock.

She knocked on the door, but no one answered. Skadi

hesitated slightly. Was no one there? No, they must be sleeping. She raised her hand and knocked on the door again. Knock, knock, knock. She was about to open the door, but then, someone inside opened the door first.

"Who is it, so late?" The boy in the room rubbed his sleepy eyes, looking half-asleep, his soft hair disheveled, and his ahoge drooping weakly.

"May I come in?" Skadi asked calmly. She was a goddess after all. Although disturbing Asher in the middle of the night wasn't good, and she felt apologetic, she absolutely couldn't show it, because she was the Goddess of Snow!

Asher's eyes narrowed slightly. He carefully scrutinized Skadi for a few moments, then smiled. "Please come in."

Saying that, he stepped back slightly, making space for Skadi to enter. Skadi looked at Asher's kind smile and was slightly startled. Why did he feel so strange? His temper was too good, right? She was disturbing Asher in the middle of the night, and he wasn't even angry? While thinking, Skadi walked into the room.

Sitting down by the head of the bed, she looked up, "I'll be direct with you" Her voice cut off. Skadi had just looked up when she saw Asher holding a strand of her fine hair and sniffing it lightly, then he casually looked up and said, "Ah, yes, go ahead." Skadi's eyes changed slightly.

She asked coldly, "What are you doing?"

"Sorry, sorry... I just accidentally..." Asher quickly let go, lowered his head slightly, and looked apologetic.

"You accidentally smell someone's hair? Isn't that perverted?" Skadi cast a disdainful look at Asher. "You really are a pervert, aren't you?"

"I was just genuinely curious about where the scent on you came from, I apologize." Asher looked up, whispering, "So it's the scent from your hair?" Skadi's eyes widened slightly, a shy glow flickering in them. As if to cover up her shyness, her voice raised a few octaves: "Stop teasing me! Do you want to be frozen into an ice sculpture?!"

"I'm not teasing you, I really was curious, I apologize."

Asher lowered his head again, looking very apologetic.

For some reason, just a few simple actions, but recalling his previous infatuated gaze and the way he held her fine hair, her heart couldn't help but pound faster.

Skadi suppressed her wildly beating heart and said in a cold tone, "Enough, none of that matters. I want your blood, can I have it?"

"Blood?" Asher tilted his head slightly, then said, "You can have it." Skadi raised her hand, and an ice blade materialized out of thin air.

"It won't hurt much, and I'll heal you immediately afterwards, don't worry." Skadi explained while looking at Asher, only to find Asher's face almost pressed against hers. He extended a finger and touched Skadi's soft, delicate lips. "If possible, I'd prefer to feed you the blood from my lips." As he spoke, his lips drew closer.

Skadi's mind became a jumble, and she instinctively leaned back. Asher's other hand pressed on her shoulder, gently pushing her onto the bed, then his lips drew closer again.

"W-wait, you, are you really looking for death?!" Skadi stammered, completely losing her previous cool demeanor.

"I like you. If I die for it, I'll have no regrets," Asher whispered, his fervent gaze seemingly melting Skadi.

"Th-this kind of thing... I need to be mentally prepared!" she said again, trying to stop Asher's actions.

"It's fine, you can slowly prepare yourself when we kiss later. I really like you, so much that I can't restrain myself anymore." Asher said, his lips already close to Skadi's. As their lips drew closer and closer, Skadi's pupils reflected the boy's figure, then she slowly closed her eyes.

But soon, as if remembering something, she suddenly opened her eyes and pushed Asher away.

"Skadi?" Asher looked at Skadi in confusion.

"It really won't work, let me think about it again!" Skadi said, then fled the room as if escaping, apparently forgetting why she had come in the first place.

Watching the woman's panicked retreating figure, Asher sat by the head of the bed, and then, his appearance underwent a drastic change. It was Morgan le Fay.

Originally, Morgan had deliberately disguised herself as Asher and stayed in the room to prevent Skadi from coming to find him at night, but the one who came was not Skadi, but Skadi. Morgan shrugged, then sighed.

"Sigh, how boring." She had thought she could pass the time, but that goddess ran too fast. But then again, that goddess was too easy to conquer, wasn't she? Morgan lay on the big bed, thinking about these trivial things, her thoughts drifting.

She wondered how things were going with Lily. She had planned to go find Asher to replenish some magic after Lily was done, but seeing Lily's stance today, she probably wouldn't have a chance. While thinking, Morgan closed her eyes, and her vision plunged into darkness.

...

Asher rubbed his sleepy eyes and slowly opened them.

The morning light streamed in, and everything before him was hazy. He could distinctly feel a soft body beside him. The soft quilt had slid down a little, revealing one of the maiden's fair and smooth shoulders.

What kind of scene was hidden under the quilt at this moment could be guessed with just one glance; not only Asher, but Artoria was also completely naked at this moment. Asher turned his head slightly to look. Artoria was tightly grasping one of his arms, appearing to be sleeping very soundly, a faint arc on her lips. Asher tried to move his arm and immediately felt a weak soreness in his waist.

Asher had to admit, Artoria was indeed stronger than him. If Artoria was described as a sweet and delicious cake, then Asher had eaten too much cake last night, which was why he was feeling unwell now. My kidneys...

Asher cried out in his heart. It was only the first day, and it was already like this. What would he do in the future? Enduring the soreness, Asher carefully pried open Artoria's fingers, then climbed out of bed. Fortunately, although he was physically exhausted, the power of his White Dragon body and years of training still had their benefits; at least he could still move freely without much problem.

"Where are you going?" However, almost the instant Asher got out of bed, the maiden's voice came from behind him. She had woken up when Asher did, but had been pretending to be asleep.

Asher's body stiffened slightly, then slowly relaxed. He turned to look at the maiden, scratched his brow, his gaze drifting, "Lily, you're awake..." He didn't know how to talk to Artoria for a moment.

"Where are you going?" But fortunately, Artoria's tone was the same as usual, which put Asher's mind somewhat at ease. He pointed to the door and said: "I want to go for a walk outside, and by the way, check on the administrative office."

He had forgotten to tell Agravain and Gawain yesterday that they didn't need to rush to finish the accounts and other matters with overtime; they should rest when they needed to. He only remembered it after waking up, so he wanted to go take a look. But no matter what, Gawain and the others wouldn't be that foolish, right?

"I'll go with you," Artoria said.

"Oh... hmm." Asher nodded gently, only to see the maiden still sitting by the head of the bed, wrapped in the quilt, her head buried, looking very shy. Under Asher's puzzled gaze, Artoria raised her eyelids and said in a voice almost too soft to hear, "Come here and help me up... my legs are a bit weak."
