The faint sound of waves echoed from the seaside. Asher gazed at the ocean. They had departed from Uruk City, watching the scenery along the way. Tiamat asked Asher many, many questions, from the current appearance of the world to his personal growth experiences, and who he had met, and who were the most important people to him.
Finally, they arrived at the Persian Gulf. Listening to the soothing sound of the tide, he and Tiamat had been here once before, but that time it was exactly at dusk, and they had very little time. Today, however, they had plenty of time left.
"Mother, what did you bring me here for?" Asher remembered that his clone had been ambushed by Goetia right here.
"I like the sea," Tiamat said, her words more coherent than before. She quietly walked next to Asher, raised her hand, and stroked his head. "I will protect you from now on."
"...Thank you?" Asher said with a questioning tone. He wanted to say that he wasn't so weak as to need protection, but considering the person who said it was Tiamat... well, she really could say something like that.
Was this because she regretted not protecting him before? Was that why she brought him here and made a vow-like statement?
"Mother, do you have any plans to leave this place after this?" Asher suddenly asked. Thinking about it, he hadn't yet asked Tiamat. If she didn't want to leave this land when he returned to Britain, where could she go?
"Go back together," Tiamat said. "Yes, let's go home together"
"Home..." Tiamat repeated, her eyes slightly brightening. She suddenly pounced on Asher. "Wait, I know, step back a bit, it's dangerous here, a cliff"
Perhaps it was because Tiamat's full weight came down on him and he couldn't keep his balance, Asher's foot slipped, and he and Tiamat fell straight down the cliff.
"Roar!" The next moment, a white dragon flew up from under the cliff. It turned its head to Tiamat. "Mother, next time, can you not do something like that in such a dangerous place?"
"Mm, sorry," she said, but she didn't look remorseful at all.
"Never mind. Let's go back for now," Asher sighed. It would probably take a very long time for Tiamat to understand human customs and etiquette.
"Mm, go back," Tiamat hugged Asher's head, covering his eyes with her hands, her large soft chest pressing against him.
"Don't cover my eyes, I can't see anything, and why did you suddenly become so heavy, ahhh?!"
Boom! Amidst his complaints, the white dragon
plummeted from high in the sky like a crashing plane, hitting the ground heavily.
"Why did my weight suddenly increase so much...?" Asher mumbled weakly, having transformed into his human form at some point. Tiamat, protected by Asher, didn't fall to the ground. She slowly climbed off Asher, then sat on him.
Asher finally felt something was amiss. He quietly opened his eyes. Tiamat was straddling him, her gentle smile exceptionally soft under the slightly dazzling sunlight behind her. She pressed her hands on Asher's wrists to prevent him from moving, then softly said, "I like this." By the sea, under Asher's somewhat astonished gaze, amidst the ebb and flow of the tide, Tiamat pressed her gentle lips against Asher's, taking greedily.
Asher was overwhelmed with mixed emotions. He thought he had inherited Odin's power, gained the authority of the white dragon, and possessed very strong, very strong power, but these powers still seemed insufficient in front of Tiamat. It seemed his fate in this life was to always be reversed.
"Are you angry?" Tiamat moved her lips away and asked softly.
"Not really... it just feels weird," Asher said. He really wanted to ask Tiamat what her current feelings were. One moment she treated him like a child, the next she made intimate gestures beyond what lovers would do. It was truly unfathomable. But Asher ultimately didn't ask, or rather, didn't have time to ask before Tiamat embraced him with warm maternal love. She leaned down again, letting the sea breeze blow, and began the next round of kissing.
Asher did not resist, merely sighing inwardly. How was he going to explain this to everyone else when he went back? Was he supposed to tell them, "This is my mom..."?
"Are you worried about something?" After the passionate kiss, she tilted her head slightly and asked. Asher was a little surprised. He hadn't expected this seemingly somewhat naive mother to have such a keen sense.
"Yeah, just a little worried, but don't mind it, it has nothing to do with you."
"It has to do with me," she said. "You are my child."
"Don't worry, it's nothing big, it's fine." Asher raised his hand and stroked her head, but couldn't quite reach, so he moved closer and finally touched Tiamat's head.
"When we go back... I'll explain to the others," Asher murmured under Tiamat's puzzled gaze.
...
"Where did you two go? You've been out of the city for almost a whole day, and we couldn't find you anywhere." It was already dusk when they returned to the city.
Ishtar had been waiting at the gate for some time, her hands on her hips, her face full of displeasure. This was her being relatively restrained in front of Tiamat; if it were just Asher, she probably would have jumped up and down.
"We went to the beach," Asher answered somewhat guiltily. He almost forgot, he had also promised Ishtar to visit Gilgamesh's treasury.
"Mother, should I take you back first?" Asher asked. Tiamat looked at Ishtar, then at Asher, and finally nodded gently. On the way back, she had thought carefully: sometimes, children needed a little freedom.
After taking Tiamat back to her room, she seemed a little uneasy. Tiamat made an "AAaaa" sound, as if saying something to Asher. Asher, being a Level 6 Tiamat speaker, naturally understood what she was saying, probably something like "be careful of bad people." Ishtar, though she didn't understand the language, could probably guess Tiamat's meaning, and said helplessly, "Don't worry, Mother, I won't steal your child."
"After all, what's so good about this guy?" she added.
Tiamat turned to look at Ishtar, her mouth slightly ajar, revealing a cute fangs.
"ļæ½Aaaaaļæ½"
"Wait, wait! I know, I know! Asher is indeed a good child, is that enough?!" Ishtar quickly raised her hand and waved it, saying.
"Mother, you go back and rest first. I'll be back in a while," Asher quickly added. Having finally managed to get this somewhat clingy mother into the room, Asher breathed a sigh of relief and turned around, saying, "Let's go."
"Oh! Let's go!" Ishtar smiled, raising her hand to Asher. Asher high-fived her, then prepared to go "rob" Gilgamesh's treasures with her.
...
It was already night by the time they finished dealing with Ishtar's agreement. The goddess held a pile of sparkling gold and silver treasures, letting out a satisfied sigh. "That Gilgamesh's treasure stockpile is truly exaggerated. How much does he love these things? These jewels are completely useless except for looking good."
"Mm... you're right," Asher said, walking on the street, glancing at her. "But it might be more convincing if you put those things down before talking."
Ishtar raised an eyebrow slightly, dissatisfied: "What an unromantic fellow, and didn't you also make a huge profit yourself?"
Asher smiled and said nothing more. If he had to say so, yes, he indeed gained a lot from entering Gilgamesh's treasury this time.
"Are you worried about something?" Ishtar suddenly asked.
"Can you tell?" Asher sighed softly.
"Anyone with eyes could tell, I'm not an idiot, of course I know you're worried." Ishtar crossed her arms. "If you need to, you can discuss it with me. I'll give you some useful advice."
Asher glanced at her, then shook his head: "Forget it." He felt that if Ishtar didn't cause trouble, he should already be thanking the heavens, let alone relying on her help.
"Ha? What kind of attitude is that? Are you looking down on me?!" Ishtar pointed her finger at Asher. "If I get angry, the consequences will be very serious, you know!"
"Sorry, but it's really nothing major," Asher said. There was no way he could say that the reason he was spacing out was because he was worried about how to introduce Tiamat when he returned to Britain.
"Huh? Asher Senpai and Goddess Ishtar?"
Just as Ishtar was about to relentlessly press the matter, a surprised voice suddenly came from behind. Asher turned to look. It was Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash.
"Good evening, Ritsuka, Mash," Asher immediately
greeted, raising his hand. These two came at just the right time, perfectly helping him alleviate the pressure Ishtar was putting on him.
"Good evening, Senpai," Ritsuka said respectfully.
"It's so late, are you out for a stroll?" Asher asked, looking at Mash, who was wearing local clothes.
"No, actually..." Mash hesitated, seemingly considering whether to tell the truth. Ritsuka nodded slightly at her. Only then did Mash speak: "Actually, we're preparing to bid King Gilgamesh farewell."
"Are you preparing to return?"
"Mm... something like that."
"Something like that? So vague?" Asher repeated.
"Mash, tell him, it's alright," Romani's voice came through the spiritron communication device. "Asher is the King of Britain. Perhaps he can give you some advice regarding this matter."
Only then did Ritsuka speak: "It's actually like this..."
"So, another new singularity has formed, and that's why you're preparing to return as soon as possible and head to the new singularity?" Asher summarized Ritsuka's words.
"That's right, so I'm sorry... we might have to leave early," Ritsuka said apologetically, pushing a strand of red hair behind her ear.
"I understand, after all, it's to save human history," Asher nodded slightly. "By the way, where's the singularity?"
Although he didn't plan to get involved, if there was anything he could help with, he wouldn't mind giving these girls who called him "Senpai" a little assistance.
"Camelot." Asher froze. "You said the singularity is where?"
Under Asher's gradually dazed gaze, Ritsuka repeated, "Camelot."
