----------------------------------------------------------

Before leaving, Asher encountered Jeanne waiting for him outside the house. He turned to Tiamat and said, "Mother, can you wait a moment?" Tiamat nodded silently.

"Are you going back?" Jeanne asked, hands behind her back, looking at Asher approaching.

"Yes, you must have heard from the others about the singularity, right?" Asher said. "I need to go back as soon as possible to confirm if the singularity is my home."

"I know," Jeanne smiled. "Although we seem to have had few opportunities to act together this time, it can't be helped. After all, you're a busy person. I understand."

It sounds like she understands him... but why does it feel more and more wrong the more he listens? Asher couldn't help but look at Jeanne twice. When he felt the resentment in her gaze, a cold sweat broke out on Asher's back. "Sorry..." he could only say. "Next time we meet, if there's a chance... you can make me do anything."

"Next time?" Jeanne repeated, looking up again. "You said that?" Asher secretly breathed a sigh of relief when he saw she wasn't pursuing it further. He nodded, "I said it."

Jeanne then showed a charming smile again. "I believe you. Go back quickly. I'm almost ready to go too." Asher turned and walked towards Tiamat, but then heard Jeanne suddenly call out again.

When he turned, he saw Jeanne quietly closing her eyes, her cheeks flushed with a charming blush. "Before you leave, leave a memento, I mean..." She tilted her head slightly. Even an idiot could tell what she meant. Asher furtively glanced at Tiamat behind him, but he couldn't just leave Jeanne hanging there. So he walked forward, thought for a moment, and lowered his head to touch her cheek.

"Eh?" Jeanne suddenly opened her eyes, stunned.

"I'm leaving now!" Asher had already walked towards Tiamat, waving at her. After a brief moment of daze, Jeanne sighed sincerely and said word by word, "Coward."

"Mother, let's go." Asher returned to Tiamat's side and said to her.

"No intimate contact," Tiamat suddenly said.

"What?" Asher was startled. Tiamat hadn't even been looking at him and Jeanne just now. How did she know?

"No intimate contact," Tiamat repeated, suddenly reaching out and patting Asher's head, then messing up his hair.

"I know, I know... I'll be careful next time. Let's go back first, okay?" Only then did Tiamat nod, and then she got onto Sleipnir's back.

After a long flight, they finally returned to Britain. Just before reaching Avalon, Asher didn't forget to look back and check on Tiamat's situation. At this moment, the Progenitor Goddess was leaning against Asher's back, seemingly in a deep sleep. Tiamat had been in this state the entire way. He didn't know why she seemed to lack sleep despite sleeping all the time.

"Mother, we're almost there," Asher called softly. Tiamat opened her eyes in a daze, her eyes clear as spring water. She rubbed her eyes and let out a soft yawn.

Asher didn't forget to remind her: "Remember, later, don't provoke my Shishou or my sisters. You just need to not answer their questions."

"Are you afraid of them?" Tiamat raised her eyes.

Asher almost tumbled off the eight-legged horse, quickly shaking his head and saying, "Not afraid! This is just a strategy, it has nothing to do with fear!"

"No need to be afraid. I will protect you," Tiamat said. "If necessary, special plans will be put into effect..."

"That's why I said, I'm really not afraid. This is just a strategy to quickly convince them," Asher said. He actually wanted to say that if you don't speak, I'll explain things properly to my Shishou and them, and they'll definitely understand. But he was afraid that saying that would hurt her feelings too much.

"I understand," Tiamat nodded gently, repeating what Asher had just said. "When you meet your Shishou and sister, don't speak."

"Or you can just 'Aaaaa'," Asher said. After all the chatting along the way, Tiamat rarely spoke in that manner anymore, only using it to express her joy when happy. However, Scathach and the others wouldn't know, so perhaps having Tiamat mask it a bit was also an option.

"We're here." Amidst their unconscious chatter, the eight-legged horse had already brought them to Camelot Castle. Seeing that Tiamat still seemed a bit worried, Asher smiled and said, "Don't worry, my Shishou and the others are all very kind people. They usually don't like to resort to force, and you're my... Anyway, they won't make things difficult for you."

Tiamat... what is she to me? Asher suddenly felt a bit lost.

At this moment, the sound of approaching hoofbeats came from the front. Asher looked up and saw a golden-haired girl with her hair tied up in a bun, rushing towards him.

"Lily," Asher raised his hand to greet her.

"Ash..." Artoria was startled, then a smile blossomed on her face. Then, just as Asher was about to speak, Artoria silently drew the sword from her waist.

"Lily! Calm down, calm down!" Asher quickly raised his hand to stop her. "I know it was wrong for me to leave without permission, but the situation was urgent. Next time I leave, I'll make sure to tell you beforehand!"

"You slept for over half a month, and as soon as you woke up, you just disappeared. Is that how you act as King Arthur?" Artoria's face showed annoyance. For the past half month, she and the Empress had essentially handled all the government affairs. Asher, on the other hand, not only played truant but also brought back a... Brought back a... Artoria looked at Tiamat curiously for a few moments. "Who is she...?"

"Let me introduce her. She can be considered your mother," Asher said.

Artoria was stunned for a moment, looking at the serious Asher, and frowned: "Are you teasing me, Ash?"

"I'm not teasing you... she really can be considered your mother," Asher said helplessly. Artoria frowned again, looking at Tiamat a few more times. "What exactly happened?"

"It's a bit complicated to explain. By the way, where are my Shishou and Sister Morgan?" Asher asked.

"The affairs of the Land of Shadows need to be dealt with. Although Aife is helping out, she still goes back to check sometimes," Artoria said.

"I see," Asher nodded gently, secretly breathing a sigh of relief. He didn't know why he felt relieved. He would have to explain Tiamat's identity to his Shishou sooner or later. Perhaps he felt that one more day of procrastination was one more day. It was like those students from his previous life, who would think about playing one more day even when the end of the term was approaching.

Artoria looked at Tiamat again and said, "I need you to tell me the full story."

Is explaining enough? I really should thank Lily for her generosity... she finally understands people's hearts.

Remembering Artoria's straightforward personality at the beginning, and then seeing her current adaptable personality, there was clearly a significant change.

But others might not be so accommodating... Thinking this, Asher sighed again.

"I'm sorry," Tiamat said softly. She probably felt that she was the one causing Asher so much trouble.

Asher gently stroked Tiamat's head and softly said, "It doesn't have much to do with you... Everything will pass soon."

Artoria silently glanced at Asher, then withdrew her gaze, thinking to herself, Why do I feel like I'm the big

bad guy, when I haven't done anything at all?

"Then, allow me to formally introduce you," Asher

pointed to Tiamat beside him. "She is the Progenitor Goddess."

Artoria suddenly stopped dead in her tracks, turning her head with astonishment in her eyes. "You said she's the Progenitor Goddess?!"

Asher nodded gently, "That's why I said she can be considered your mother... It would be great if you can understand."

"No wonder you brought a woman back. So that's how it

is?" Artoria murmured, then said seriously, "I understand. I'll help explain it to Empress Morgan later."

"That would be a huge help, Lily!" Asher said gratefully.

"No problem, it's just a small thing I can do for Mother," Artoria smiled, but soon her eyes showed confusion. "But why would she only follow you?"

"Likes," Tiamat suddenly said.

"What?" Artoria looked at Tiamat in confusion.

Asher gently tugged Tiamat's sleeve, gesturing for her to be quiet, then smiled and said, "Anyway, I'll trouble you to help explain it later, Lily."

"Hmm, I understand."

Watching Artoria walk ahead, Asher pondered for a moment, then leaned close to Tiamat's ear and whispered, "Mother, when you see my Shishou and sister later, you can smile. That will make a good impression. And remember, try not to speak. I'll explain everything to them later." Although it wasn't ideal to say this, Asher felt that if Tiamat explained it, the situation would definitely turn out very badly.

Asher was really glad Scathach wasn't here right now. Honestly, he wasn't mentally prepared to face his Shishou, not just because of Tiamat. He had left Britain without permission this time, and for so long. He didn't know if his Shishou would be angry. However, the only silver lining was that Merlin had previously said that Britain couldn't see the "live broadcast," so he could try to "smooth things over" in some aspects.

"Eh, eh, eh, isn't that King Arthur? You're finally back?" Asher had just followed Artoria into the great hall when he heard a somewhat flat voice. Morgan le Fay was sitting on the throne at some point, speaking in a cold tone.

Asher's eyelids twitched slightly. He said apologetically, "Sorry, next time I go out, I'll tell you beforehand."

"You're King Arthur. How dare I ask where you want to go~"

"Empress Morgan, it's not what you think," Artoria suddenly said.

"Lily, why are you siding with him?" Morgan frowned slightly. "Did Ash trick you?"

"No, this is a bit complicated. Anyway, Ash's long absence has to do with the woman next to him," Artoria pointed to Tiamat.

Morgan suspiciously looked at Tiamat several times, then said, "Tell me the details."

Artoria roughly explained what she currently knew. Morgan carefully observed Tiamat for a few moments, then softly said, "Doesn't look like she's lying. The horns on her head are very unique..." Her eyes flickered slightly.

After pondering, Morgan quickly smiled again: "I understand. I'll forgive you this time. Just remember to say hello before you leave next time."

Asher finally breathed a sigh of relief. This way, he didn't have to worry about Empress Morgan.

However, just as Asher let out a sigh of relief, a voice suddenly echoed from the front of the hall. "Disciple, you're back."

Just when you fear something, it happens... Asher's body stiffened slightly. He slowly turned his head to look. A purple-haired woman in a tight suit had appeared at the hall entrance at some point, smiling at him.
