Chapter 65 - Chapter 65 – Bibi Dong’s Illusion

Li Changan took a deep breath, his blood surging with excitement as he looked at the scene before him. He couldn't help but be stirred—it turned out that deep down, this was something he actually craved. And honestly? It was really thrilling.

Still, come to think of it... did he really like this kind of roleplay?

To be honest, even though he knew it was all just an illusion, Li Changan couldn't help but feel the urge to throw himself into it. After all, such a rapturous scene was extremely rare—it was practically every guy's dream!

Should he just go and enjoy it?

But just a few steps in, Li Changan suddenly stopped. Doing something like that in an illusion? Wouldn't that be the same as... self-indulgence? That kind of thing was a huge disgrace for someone like him.

Ever since his first love in his previous life, Li Changan had never needed to use his hands.

Just as Li Changan resolved not to give in, a graceful figure suddenly appeared in front of him—it was none other than his teacher, Bibi Dong!

"Changan, come here…"

"Hmph! Let's see how I break this illusion!" Li Changan let the illusionary Bibi Dong stroke his dick for a moment before letting out a cold laugh.

He raised one hand dramatically, as if casting a holy spell, and bellowed:

"By the Power of Plot Armor! By the Spirit of Simp Repentance! By the Sacred Order of 'I Ain't That Desperate'—BEGONE, THOT!"

BOOM!

The palace vanished, and Li Changan was once again standing on the grassy plain. Though he hadn't moved, the scene had shifted in the blink of an eye, leaving him with a surreal, out-of-body feeling.

"Thank you to all my teachers from my past life. Now, I have to find my teacher." He wasn't even sure which teacher he was thanking, but after bowing, he immediately set off again.

If it had been a greenhorn facing this trial, they might not have made it out—but Li Changan was a seasoned veteran.

What concerned him more, though, was Bibi Dong's illusion.

Considering how much suffering Bibi Dong had endured, if her illusion reflected her deepest fears, she might not be able to hold on at all!

---

Elsewhere in the illusion space, Bibi Dong was seated cross-legged, her face pale and contorted in pain, clearly trapped in her own torment. She hadn't escaped her illusion yet.

Li Changan soon found her. Seeing her in such a state made his heart clench. His teacher might really be stuck!

But how could he enter her illusion and help her?

After a brief moment of thought, Li Changan gripped the Pangu Axe tightly, pointed it at the sky, and shouted, "Hey purple mist! I know you can hear me. Let me into her illusion, or I swear I'll chop this damn thing to pieces!"

As he spoke, the Pangu Axe began to radiate a powerful aura, proving that he wasn't just making empty threats.

"I can let you in. But if you can't make it out, both of you will be trapped forever. Are you sure about this?"

A familiar voice echoed from the sky.

Li Changan nodded firmly. "Cut the crap and send me in already!"

He wasn't the type to fear death. He would fight for every woman he cared about—even if Bibi Dong wasn't his yet, in his heart, she already was. He couldn't bear to see her suffer!

"Fine. Sit cross-legged and close your eyes," the voice said.

Li Changan nodded and immediately sat next to Bibi Dong, cross-legged. A strange force settled over him, and his consciousness was pulled into Bibi Dong's illusion.

---

In a lush forest, a short-haired young man stood before Bibi Dong, who was covering her face and crying.

"You lied to me," the man said, his voice full of hurt. "Why? Why would you do this?"

"Xiaogang… I'm sorry… I didn't mean to…" Even though she knew it was just an illusion, Bibi Dong's emotions were in chaos. This was the scene she feared most—the one she least wanted to face.

"Hmph. It's bad enough that you're the Holy Maiden of the Spirit Hall, but you even had a child with someone else—and left me without a word!" Yu Xiaogang's voice dripped with bitterness and accusation.

"You were my student. My woman. We even had a child together. You're not pure anymore—so why are you still here?" A blond man in a Pope's robe appeared and grabbed Bibi Dong's hand coldly.

"No! Please, just let me go… Teacher, I'm begging you…"

"The child's already grown, and you still want me to let you go? Hahahaha…"

Bibi Dong felt like she was losing her mind. The two men who had hurt her the most were now standing before her, one more vicious than the other. She truly didn't know what to do anymore...

"Teacher!"

Suddenly, a warm and strong embrace enveloped Bibi Dong. A gentle hand stroked her hair, soothing and comforting her.

It was the third man in her life—the one who had always called her "teacher," the mischievous and caring young man who had brought her pastries every day for six years.

Though they were teacher and student, even Bibi Dong couldn't deny it anymore—this disciple had long since taken root in her heart. He was the only one who gave her warmth, comfort, and peace.

"Changan… sob... Am I really such a terrible woman?" she whispered, leaning weakly against Li Changan's chest, trembling as she cried.

"Of course not. Never," Li Changan whispered, holding her tightly and gently patting her back.

Then he turned his gaze toward the illusionary Yu Xiaogang and said coldly:

"You—useless scum of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. You broke up with her and then fell in love with your own sister. And you think you're qualified to talk about true love?"

"Back then, without her support—and the resources of the Spirit Hall—your so-called 'research' wouldn't have gone anywhere. You're nothing but trash. Who gave you the right to stand here and lecture her?"

"You thought she loved you too much—thought she spoiled you too much—that's why you dared to say all this. But let me tell you something, Yu Xiaogang: A man who can't protect the woman he loves is nothing but a loser!"

"But… but I tried. I worked hard to prove myself…" Yu Xiaogang muttered defensively.

"And the result of your effort was falling in love with someone else, right?" Li Changan shot back mercilessly.

"And you, Qian Xunji. You ruined a woman's entire life—are you proud of that?"

"Teacher, don't be afraid. I'm here. I've always been here…"

His words were like rays of sunlight shining into Bibi Dong's shattered heart, making her eyes well up again.

"Changan… Was I really not wrong?" Bibi Dong sobbed, cupping his face in her trembling hands.

Li Chang'an held her close, gently wiping away her tears. "No. You're not wrong. You've never been wrong. You were just hurt… and no one ever gave you a chance to heal."

As if responding to his words, the illusion shattered like glass.

They were back.

The oppressive mirage faded. The palace, the voices, the torment—they were gone. Only the vast grassland remained, silent and gentle beneath a blue sky.

But Li Chang'an didn't let go. He still held her.

Bibi Dong didn't pull away either.

For a long moment, there were no words—only the sound of her breathing gradually calming in his arms.

"…Chang'an," she finally said softly, "thank you… for walking into my nightmare and pulling me out."

"I said I'd always be by your side," Li Chang'an smiled, brushing a stray strand of hair from her face. "I meant it."

Bibi Dong's eyes met his—moist, but now clear. Her lips parted slightly, as if she wanted to say more. But in the end, she simply nodded, then leaned her head gently against his shoulder.
