"What is this?" Miroku asked anxiously.
"Ahhahaha! Thanks to the two of you, I've finally escaped from that hopeless seal!" An arrogant laugh echoed from underground.
Hearing this familiar voice, Miroku panicked. "Moryo? Wasn't that part of your body we defeated already destroyed?"
"That's right, it was destroyed!" Moryo sounded cheerful. "But in exchange, my main body has now been released!"
"What? How is this possible?"
"Fool! I told you long ago we are one entity. Just like you can't kill me, I can't truly kill you either!"
Miroku asked, dazed and confused, "So you were lying when you said you would devour me?"

"Just shut up!" Seiki intensified his effort, expanding the barrier further. This time, Moryo couldn't even make a sound.
At this moment, Seiki staggered as he turned around, his smile bitter. "That guy was right. With his current power, I can only delay him for a few minutes at most. You must escape now! Don't let him get his hands on your power!"
Miroku tried to pull himself together. "But what about you? What will you do?"
