CHAPTER 13
ALEXA'S POV
*AT SCHOOL*
Boom, The police came and they started arresting Dave and Mary, I was trying to plead with Dan, but he disagreed, I tried and tried and tried, but he kept on saying no, so I thought of something. Since, Dan cares of the relationship, I thought of breaking up with him, so I met him.
"Since you're not agreeing to what I'm saying, if you don't bring them out I'll have to break up with you " I said.
" Alexa are you serious right now?" Dan asked as if I was kidding.
" Do you see a smile on my face?, if I was kidding I'm supposed to be laughing by now" I Said.
" Alexa, don't do this" Dan said, " They were the ones that beat you up till you almost fainted " Dan said about to cry.
I felt pity on him and I also felt pity on them.
" Okay, Dan, I'm a good and kind person I don't have intention to put anyone in jail they're your classmates and he's your best friend, why are you treating them like this?" I asked about to cry.
" Look I can't risk you for anything in this world, please don't do this, stay with me" Dan pleaded.
" I'm sorry" I whispered to him.
Then he bowed his head and left the place, but for me I ran to the toilet , I never knew that it was men toilet until I saw a man inside then I ran to the ladies toilet, I collected the wipe that was there and cleaned my eyes.
At that moment I felt hopeless, my eyes were going inside, my lashes were socked with tears my body was socked with sweat, that moment was as if I wanted to die.
Untill a girl came in to me and said.
"I've came to this toilet two times, and all the times I came I heard someone crying, I decided to check out who the person was and it was you, what happened?" She asked.
" Something miserable happened today " I said.
" What it your best friend that got arrested?" She asked.
" It was my fake boyfriend's best friend that got arrested " I replied.
" Okay, then why're you crying?" She asked.
" Cause, I forced myself to break up with him " I replied.
" Why?" She kept on asked questions.
" I'm a kind person, so I told him that if he arrest them, I'll be forced to break up with him, which is I'll force myself to break up with him " I said blowing my nose.
" Look, this life is all about learning lessons and learning new things, we all learn new things" She advised me.
" What are you talking about?, like I don't understand " I said.
" I mean that you'll find a new boyfriend soon, maybe he'll be better than this one, richer than this one, if this one is poor or rich" She said , " who is your boyfriend?" She added.
" He's Dan , the billionaire playboy's son " I said.
" What!!!?" She screamed, "are you serious?, my dream boyfriend" She added.
"What?, did you just say your dream boyfriend, that boy what ever he wants he must surely get it, even it it is worth taking his girlfriend's life, he'll do it" I said.
"How do you know?" She asked so confused.
" Cause I was his girlfriend, duh" I said and stood up, cleaned up my body and walked away.
After I left the toilet I noticed that that girl was following me like she was a spy, then she screamed my name from behind, I stopped.
"Do you really love him?" She asked.
"Yeah I really loved him" I gave her a quick reply and left the school premises.

DAN'S POV
*At the school's football field*
The girl came.
"Do you asked her?" I asked her so serious.
"Yeah, she's a kind and a person with a soft heart, I asked her if she still loves you and she said yes, she still loves you that if you change it'll be better for you" She said.
"She told you that?, I wouldn't have done that to her" I said and picked my phone from my pocket and called the D.P.O and told him to release Dave and Mary.
"Is Alexa still in school?" I asked.
"No she left" She replied.
Then I quickly ran out of the school premises and went to Alexa's house.
I knocked many times but to no avail. No one was answering me all the times I knocked. I decided to wait till she comes back.
FEW HOURS LATER.
*6:00 PM*
No is back home, I tried calling her phone but she did not answer or return any of my calls, I waited till I was so hungry and I left her house.
While I was driving, I received a phone call, I checked it was Alexa and I quickly answered the call.
"I heard that you've released them thank you, you're such a sweetheart" She said and I blushed.
" Alexa, can we continue from where we stopped?" I asked her still driving.
" I'm sorry, I'll have to turn you down" Alexa turned me down.
" Babe, look let's we start all over again?" I said.
" Please, don't call me that and we can't do it, I'm tired I hate deceiving people" She said.
" Okay, can we do a real thing?" I asked and felt pity for myself cause I've done a wrong thing.
"Like I said, I'm sorry I'll have to turn you down" She said and hung up the call.
I drove the car with too much speed and reached my house, I quickly took a bottle of Hennessy and Azul with tequila, then I started drinking like I was a drunkard.
I drank and drank and drank till I fell on the floor, helplessly, I was on the floor till my eyes closed, and I was asleep.

DAN'S POV
*THE NEXT DAY*
I woke up on my bed in my bedroom, I felt a slight headache as I stood up and then I realized that I slept on the floor.
I was so confused that, I replayed what I could remember from yesterday.
And then someone came in to my greatest surprise it was.
WHO WILL IT BE!!!?.
