CHAPTER 14
DAN'S POV
*THE NEXT DAY*
I woke up on my bed in my bedroom, I felt a slight headache as I stood up and then I realized that I slept on the floor.
I was so confused that, I replayed what I could remember from yesterday.
And then someone came in to my greatest surprise it was Mary.
"What are you doing here?" I asked so surprised.
"I knocked and knocked, no one answered, so I decided to enter and I saw you on the ground, I called the neighborhors, they helped me carry you to the room, they wanted to call the doctor, but the bottle on the floor gave them a clue that you were drunk, so here you are" Mary said.
" Wow, I never knew that you have a kind heart" I said so surprised. I felt so special.
" Thank you so much, you're so cute" I said.
"Thanks. So what's cooking?" I asked cause I was so hungry.
"Okay, I know that you like spaghetti with tomato sauce" She uttered.
" What how do you know that they're my favorite?" I asked.
"Go and shower, and then come down stairs, so I'll serve you your food" She said. " Go, go, go" She added.
Then I went to the bathroom. I sat on the bathtub.
"Why, is Mary acting so kind to me. Cause I got her arrested, so I don't see how she'll be acting like this when I'm the one that got her arrested?" I whispered to myself.
I onned the the shower and it was pouring out on the bathtub.
"I'm thinking that, she still like me and let me just give her a chance to see if she's worth it" I said.

FEW MINUTES LATER.
I was out of the toilet, then I dressed up and went downstairs.
I was shocked about what I saw, Mary had already dressed up the dinning table, and she was acting like she was my wife or girlfriend.
"Okay, I'm already done with everything, so I just need to take this off and we're good to go" She Said.
I was already ready to eat after I sat on the table when I heard a knock on the door.
ALEXA'S POV
Someone opened the door and it was Daniel.
"Hi" I said.
"Hi, I was about to eat before you came" He said,"Come in" He added.
" Can I join?" I asked cause I haven't eaten since morning and I was coming from the hotel, and they didn't offered me food.
When I entered I was shocked when I saw Mary sitting on his dinning table, I quickly turned around and wanted to leave until Dan held my hand.
"Sit, please" He said.
"What is she doing here?" I asked so angry.
"Because of what you told me yesterday is was so angry that I drank so much alcohol that I went drunk and slept on the floor, then Mary came in and helped me to my room" He said.
" And?" I asked, " You guys didn't do anything?" I added.
" No, I was sleeping" Dan replied irritated.
" Then how did she carry you, cause I know that Mary is as lazy as a cat" I insulted her.
" She called my neighbors to help her carry me " He said, " I'm hungry let's go and eat" He said.
" But the food is finished " Mary said.
" Okay then, Mary give her one of my favorite fork" He ordered.
" But, there's no food " Mary complained.
" Just give her" Dan said .
Then she brought his favorite spoon and gave it to me, he dragged my chair closer to him.
"Eat with me" He said.
"Okay" I blushed.
We ate together.
FEW MINUTES LATER.
"So Mary you can cook like this?, I never knew that Mary can cook" I asked, I've never felt so free with Mary like that before since when I met Mary.
"I wanted only Dan to eat cause I wanted him to taste my special recipe " She uttered.
" Ohh, cause we're not that close so you want only Daniel to taste your food?, wow nice one " I said .
Next thing, I was just feeling sleepy like I really want to sleep.
And then I fell on the floor and my eyes closed, everything went blank, and I was in a dark and black room.
DAN'S POV
After Alexa fell on the floor, everything went blurry and I was about to fall on the floor.
"Next time don't try to put me some where like the prison" She said.
"Mary!!!" I screamed her name.
Everything went blank and my eyes were closed.
FEW MINUTES LATER.
*ON THE FLOOR*
When I finally woke up, I couldn't stand or sit, infact I couldn't shake my body, It was as if I was paralyzed and when I looked at Alexa she was on the floor with me lying helplessly.
FEW HOURS LATER.
*8:00 PM*
Finally, we can move our body, then Alexa rushed and collected her phone, called the police to arrest Mary.
"Take it easy, last time you told me that I should have mercy on Mary, you too do the same" I pleaded.
" In sorry let her stay there for a little time " She said.
" Remember, Ariana is back" I caution. " So it'll be worse if they join hands and beat you up " I added.
" Let them do what they what to do" She said so angry and left.
"Alexa, please be careful" I cautioned.

ALEXA'S POV
*AT HOME*
*9:00 PM*
"I've called you like a billion times, and you are not taking any of it or returning it!" She shouted at me.
"I was paralyzed, okay" I said.
"What the F**K are you saying?" She asked about to laugh.
"Look, I'm serious" I said.
"Why?, how?" She asked .
"I went to Daniel's house and I aw Mary at his house, and he explained why she was there, I was so hungry I went and joined them me and Dan shared the same food, when we were through we fell on the floor and everything went blank. Few minutes later I woke up unable to stand up or shake that was when I you started calling me me that was unable to stand or shake my body, I couldn't help so I left it" I said and felt pity for myself.
" So what were you guys doing on the floor?" She asked smiling and biting her fingers in suspense.
" We were just talking by the way we can't move" I said and left the sitting room.
