Chapter 97 - At the dining table

"I... I," he lowered his gaze, "I haven't."

"You should, trust me."

"I don't want to scare her away," he muttered.

"You won't be scaring her; she has feelings for you, right?"

"Well, I can't be too certain."

"Do you like her?"

He blushed at the question. "Yes."

"If you like her, then you should confess the truth to her. Tell her now before it gets too late. I'm speaking from experience; she might get disappointed or lose trust if you tell her later."

"Really?"

"Trust me, your brothers did the same thing to me, and I had a hard time trusting them."

"Oh, I'm just worried that she'll hate me or break up with me."

"She won't. And if she does, then take it as a sign to move on."

"Okay."

"Alright, let's go." We entered the house and went straight to the dining room. I went to my seat, and Tom took the last available one.

"Have this." I handed him a fresh box of pizza. He took it and started eating.
