"With that said, keep any worries you might have; Daniel is a trustworthy friend. I'll remain good friends with him for a long time. I can't afford to lose him; if I lose him, I won't have any friends left," I murmured the last part.
"You can remain friends with him for as long as you want; I don't mind. I'm sure they don't mind either," Thatcher chimed in.
"Yeah, he's right; you can continue being friends with him," Julian added.
"As long as he doesn't hurt you," Logan groaned.
"He won't hurt me; Daniel will never hurt me."
"But he's still making advances at you; he hasn't stopped," Logan grumbled.
"What? Advances?" I turned to him.
Logan kept his gaze on his drumstick. "Is he not?"
"He isn't. Daniel understands that I'm mated to you. He isn't making advances," I assured him.
"All right, if you say so, then I believe you," he smiled, grabbed his burger, and took a huge bite.
I chuckled, "Were you worried that I was going to leave you for him?"
