As Tanya dashed off to dance with boys her own age, Uriel shook his head in disapproval and retreated to a secluded spot away from the crowd. He was hoping to keep an eye on Apollonia from afar, but he couldn’t spot her.

‘…I can’t find her?’

His heart sank at the thought of the fact that he’d lost her while Tanya was confessing her foolish feelings.

Uriel edged even further away from the crowd to get a better look, yet he still couldn’t find her. Just when he was about to give up, he accidentally collided with a large rock and heard a familiar voice.

“I heard you got rejected for lack of experience,” said the voice.

Uriel spun around but saw nothing. He quickly went around rock and discovered Apollonia sitting there, looking like a golden fairy in her pure white attire, with a lyre lying beside her. She was in a spot where she could hear people but remained unseen by them.
