“They’re calling for you. Are you sure you don’t need to go?” Uriel asked, sounding disgruntled. He seemed to be looking at Tan in dissatisfaction.

“I was only taught how to dance in banquets at the imperial palace,” Apollonia replied with a soft chuckle. Clad in a comfortable-looking white dress and her long hair in a braid, she looked like an ordinary girl.

“How about playing instruments? Don’t all women in the imperial palace learn how to play the lyre?” asked Uriel.

“I did learn from a famous teacher for a long time, and now I can play… three songs,” Apollonia admitted. Indeed, she had earnestly learned music when she was young and knew how to appreciate music. It was just that… she wasn’t that nimble with her fingers.

Thinking back, she realized there wasn’t much she was capable of. She hadn’t learned swordsmanship either. Just in time, Tan picked up a lyre started playing it as though to fan her aggravation.
