Sunshine and the others stepped aside to discuss what Paula had confessed so far.
"What do you make of this?" She asked them,
"Kill her." Leah spoke up quickly.
Sunshine rolled her eyes. "Do you have one word in your vocabulary Leah?"
Leah shrugged.
Major Elio said heavily, "If her story is true, they deliberately instilled fear in her."
"I know of the Burton's," Hades said. "I have crossed paths with them in business. Heath Burton is an asshole. Very cunning and untrustworthy. If she is related to him...we should be careful. Apples don't fall far from the trees. Maybe the watchers gave her a mission she is hiding from us or unaware of herself."
"All the best to kill her." Leah chimed in.
Some people groaned. Major Elio even rolled his eyes and a part of him was glad that the priest was not around for this small think tank.
"Don't make me suppress your abilities Leah." Sunshine warned the woman.
Leah snorted.
