Dinner was a theatrical play of betrayal. Sunshine was still the biggest villain in the house, or the base or maybe even the entire world.
To make peace, she tried to coax White with kindness, even bringing out her special experimental coconut bean and bee honey.
"White, sweetie, would you like some?" She asked, pushing the spoon toward him.
White leaned in and opened his mouth. Sunshine smiled victoriously. Suddenly, the little bear turned his head and clung to Hades' arm, sniffling dramatically. Sunshine groaned and threw the spoon on the plate.
"Seriously!" She exclaimed aloud, "you are clinging to him. You don't even like him."
Hades grinned. He stroked White's fur like he was cradling a newborn baby. "Now, honey, don't let the jealousy make you lose your patience."
Castiel chimed in, "Mommy, stop. You are upsetting White. He is just a fragile baby."
Rori and the other boys chuckled.
