Outside the Royal Woods Hospital, Lincoln and Agumon were facing a Digimon with an upper body that resembled a bipedal ox, and a spider for a lower body that had canisters of green liquid embedded on its rear, giving it a centaur-like appearance and a cannon for a left arm.
"So what's this Digimon, Loud?" asked Mr. Bolhofner. Lincoln holds out his artifact to identify their opponent.
"That's Gyukimon." said Lincoln. "Ultimate Level, Demon Beast Type, Virus and Data Attributes; its special attack is Eight Bundles of Dyed Restraints."
"You will come with us, humans!' said the ox half of Gyukimon.
"As much as I would love to know where Titamon is; I'm gonna have to say 'no' to your invitation." said Lincoln.
"Funny, but you make it sound like we're giving you a choice!" said the spider half of Gyukimon.
"Wow; two heads and not a brain cell among them." said Agumon.
"How dare you insult us!" said the ox half of Gyukimon.
"It's not so much an insult as it is a fact." said Agumon.
"That does it!" said the spider half of Gyukimon.
"I think it's time to go Ultimate, Lincoln." said Agumon.
"Good call." said Lincoln as he holds out his artifact and uses it to Digivolve his partner all the way up to RizeGreymon.
"Go get that oversized cow/arachnid!" said Lincoln.
"You got it!" said RizeGreymon as he flies towards Gyukimon.
"Thousand Cannon!" said Gyukimon's ox half as it holds out its cannon arm and fires a burning cannonball from it.
"Barrel Smash!" said RizeGreymon as he swings his gun barrel arm at the incoming projectile and knocks it far away and out of the city.
"It's outta here!" said Lincoln.
"Demon Dust Calabash!" shouts Gyukimon's ox half as it grabs the canisters off its spider half's body and tosses them at the ground near RizeGreymon, causing them to shatter, releasing a toxic gas that forces everyone to cover their mouths.
"And I thought Lori had the most lethal gas in Royal Woods." said Lincoln.
"Eight Bundles of Dyed Restraints!" shouts Gyukimon's spider half as strong threads come out of the spider half's mouth that wrap around RizeGreymon, tying him up; Gyukimon then sprays RizeGreymon with a purple liquid.
"RizeGreymon!" shouts Lincoln.
"Don't worry, I got this!" said RizeGreymon as a blue light starts to shine through the threads wrapped around his torso. "Rising Destroyer!" A laser comes out of RizeGreymon's chest and wing cannons, cutting through the thread, freeing himself, and doing damage to Gyukimon.
"RRRGH!" grunts Gyukimon as its body is hit with laser blasts.
"That's some heavy artillery, Loud!" said Mr. Bolhofnner.
"Oh yeah? Watch this!" said RizeGreymon as he holds out his gun barrel arm and points it at Gyukimon. "Trident Revolver!" Three powerful shots come out and hit the target; the first shot hits the spider half in the mouth, the second shot destroys its arm cannon, and the last one hits the ox half in the torso.
"AUUUUUUUUUUUGH!" screams both halves of Gyukimon as its body is disintegrated.
"Way to go, RizeGreymon!" said Lincoln as Mr Bolhofner and the other two men cheered for his victory.
"Thanks, Lincoln." said RizeGreymon as he reverts back to Koromon.
"Wish he'd stay as RizeGreymon." said one of the other men.
"Yeah, but imagine how much food he'd need." said Lincoln.
"I suppose that's true." said the other man.
"Let's just hurry and grab the medical supplies." said Lincoln.
"You heard Loud!" said Mr Bolhofner as he charges into the hospital, followed by Lincoln, Koromon, and the two men.
Half an hour later, they all get done filling up the van with as many medical supplies as they could; they even found a nurse who was hiding in the hospital who they're bringing to the safe zone.
"That should be plenty for now." said Lincoln.
"Let's head back to the safe zone." said one of the men. Some rustling in a nearby bush gets the group's attention.
"What's that?" asked Lincoln.
"It could be one of Titamon's goons." said Koromon as he gets in front of the group.
"Couldn't be that big if it could fit in that bush." said Lincoln.
"Be careful anyway." said Koromon as he slowly approaches the bush; when he got close, Nacho comes out and starts pleading.
"It's just a raccoon." said one of the men.
"I thought it was a threat!" said Mr Bolhofner.
"Wait a minute." said Lincoln as he walks to Nacho. "Nacho, is that you?" Nacho nodded and began showing them the pamphlet from the Royal Woods Arena.
"We have no time for competitions!" said Mr. Bolhofner.
"I think Nacho's trying to tell us something." said Lincoln. "Let's take him back to the safe zone; Lana speaks raccoon." Everyone climbs inside the van and they head back to the safe zone.
Moments later at the safe zone, Nacho was inside Camperzilla, eating some leftover Lynn-sagna while Lana was petting him.
"You had a rough time out there, huh, Nacho." said Lana; Nacho stops eating and nods in response before he continued eating. After Nacho finished eating, he began talking to Lana.
"What's Nacho saying, Lana?" asked Lincoln.
"He's saying some big green thing with a huge sword has people captive at the Royal Woods Arena." said Lana.
"Big green thing, huge sword; sounds like Titamon." said Lincoln.
"What do we do?" asked Stella.
"One of us should check out the arena." said Lincoln.
"I'll go there with Gaomon and my dads." said Clyde.
"Okay; be careful, Clyde." said Lincoln.
"We will." said Gaomon. Moments later, Clyde, Gaomon, and Clyde's dads exited the safe zone in the McBrides van; minutes later, they arrived a block away from the Royal Woods Arena. they looked at the arena from inside the van.
"Looks like there's a barrier around the entire arena." said Clyde.
"Titamon must have put it up after Nacho escaped." said Gaomon.
"Oh, I hope everyone inside is okay." said Harold McBride.
"Except for that horrible Titamon and its forces." said Howard McBride. Clyde sees six gray beams of energy coming into the barrier from different directions.
"I wonder what those beams are." said Clyde, pointing at one of the beams.
"Don't know; maybe whatever's making those beams is making the barrier." said Gaomon.
"Maybe." said Clyde. "Come on, let's go back to the safe zone and tell everyone about this." Harold begins driving towards the direction of the safe zone; they only travelled a few blocks when a green, quadrupedal, dragon-like Digimon with a pair of massive arms on its back and a spiked iron ball on the end of its tail bursts out of the ground in front of the van, causing Harold to stomp hard on the brakes.
"What is that thing?!" asked Harold. Clyde points his artifact at the Digimon.
"That's Groundramon, dad." said Clyde. "Ultimate Level, Earth Dragon Type, Virus Attribute; special attack, Scrapless Claw."
"You humans aren't going anywhere except to Lord Titamon!" yelled Groundramon. Clyde and Gaomon climbed out of the van.
"Be careful, Clyde." said Howard.
"You ready, Gaomon?" asked Clyde.
"As I'll ever be." replied Gaomon. Clyde pushes the button on his artifact and Gaomon begins to spin.
"Gaomon, Digivolve to..." said Gaomon as he continues to spin until he became Gaogamon. "...Gaogamon!" He leaps at Groundramon. "Double Claw!" He pounces at Groundramon.
"Megaton Hammer Crush!" shouts Groundramon as it swings its tail at Gaogamon, hitting him, and knocking him to the ground.
"Spiral Blow!" shouts Gaogamon as he releases a spiral vortex of wind from his mouth that hits Groundramon in the face.
"RRGH!" grunts Groundramon. It charges at Gaogamon and swats him with one of its arms, knocking Gaogamon back, but he lands on his feet.
"Dash Double Claw!" shouts Gaogamon as he leaps at Groundramon and swings his front paws, releasing an X-shaped energy wave at Groundramon, hitting it, causing an explosion.
"That should take care of it." said Clyde. When the smoke cleared, Groundramon was still there.
"Care to repeat that, human?" asked Groundramon. Gaogamon leaps at Groundramon. "Scrapless Claw!" The arms on Groundramon's back slams together onto Gaogamon and it began squeezing him.
"Gaogamon!" shouts Clyde.
"Oh, poor Gaogamon." said Harold.
"You can't escape my grasp, Digimon fool!" shouts Groundramon.
"Not...in my...Champion Form!" said Gaogamon.
"Way ahead of you, Gaogamon!" shouts Clyde, holding up his artifact; it begins to shine brightly and a button on it begins to glow; Clyde pushes it and Gaogamon begins to glow brightly, causing Groundramon to release him. Gaogamon begins to spin.
"Gaogamon, Digivolve to..." said Gaogamon. A blue cyclone of energy surrounds Gaogamon; when it disappeared, he was now MachGaogamon.
"...MachGaogamon!" said MachGaogamon; Groundramon glared at him menacingly.
"Giga Crack!" shouts Groundramon as it jumps up and slams itself onto the ground, casuing it to shake; large fissures form on the ground and MachGaogamon falls into one; Groundramon runs to the fissure and looks down. MachGaogamon flies up from the fissure with his rockets, surprising Groundramon.
"Mach Spiral!" shouts MachGaogamon and a strong vortex of wind is released from his mouth and it hits the middle of Groundramon's back, causing him to yell in pain.
"Scrapless Claw!" shouts Groundramon as it tries to grab MachGaogamon with the arms on its back.
"Winning Knuckle!" shouts MachGaogamon as he punches one of Groundramon's arms hard, knocking it back and dodges the other arm; Groundramon shakes the arm MachGaogamon punched.
"Megaton Hammer Crash!" shouts Groundramon as it swings its tail at MachGaogamon.
"Winning Straight!" shouts MachGaogamon as he punches the spiked ball on the end of Groundramon's tail, breaking it.
"I'll destroy you for that!" yelled Groundramon; it begins charging at MachGaogamon.
"Time to finish this; Gaoga Tornado!" said MachGaogamon; he flies at Groundramon with incredible speed and begins circling it; he delivers powerful punches all over Groundramon's body until he stops in front of it and delivers a powerful punch straight into Groundramon's chest.
"AAAAAARGH!" shouts Groundramon as his body disintegrates.
"He did it!" cheered Howard.
"All right, MachGaogamon!" said Clyde. MachGaogamon nods before De-Digivolving back into Wanyamon; Clyde picks him up and carries him into the van. "Come on; let's get back to the safe zone." Harold begins driving the van back towards the safe zone.
Later at Tall Timbers Park, Clyde was telling his friends about what he, Gaomon, and his dads saw.
"Okay, we have to find a way to get rid of that barrier." said Zach.
"Yeah, but how?" asked Rusty.
"Clyde; you said you saw beams that were making the barrier coming from different directions, right?" asked Stella.
"Right." replied Clyde.
"And there were six beams?" asked Lincoln.
"Yeah." replied Clyde.
"So, if we find what are making those beams and destroy them, we may be able to get rid of that barrier." said Lincoln.
"But there may be Digimon guarding whatever's making them there beams like hens guarding their nests." said Liam.
"Doesn't matter; we need to get rid of that barrier and save everyone in the arena." said Kudamon.
"And then we take Titamon down." said Gotsumon.
"Okay, gang; time to put Operation: Destroy what's making the barrier so we can get into the arena, defeat Titamon, save our city and world, and think of a shorter name for this operation; into action." said Lincoln.
Will Lincoln and his friends be able to take down Titamon's barrier? Wait and find out.
