The next day, after everyone got a good night's rest, and after breakfast; Lincoln, his friends, and their Digimon partners get ready to go to where one of the beams of dark light that was making the barrier that was keeping others in and out of the Royal Woods Arena was coming from.
"So who's gonna stay here in case one of Titamon's goons tries breaking in here while the rest of us are way?" asked Lincoln.
"I'll stay." said Rusty. "Someone's gotta watch over the ladies."
"I'm certain they'll be more interested in seeing Leomon." said Stella.
"Okay, so Rusty will stay for now, while the rest of us head to where one of the barrier beams is." said Lincoln.
"Sounds good to me, buddy." said Clyde.
"How are we gonna get there?" asked Zach. Just then, they hear the sound of an engine starting up, making the group look to see Vanzilla, moving over next to them. Lincoln opens the front passenger door to see his oldest sister, Lori, in the driver seat.
"Hop in, guys." said Lori. The group, except for Rusty and Elecmon, climb into Vanzilla; as everyone sits down and buckles up, Lori notices that Clyde wasn't acting like a malfunctioning robot around her, or getting a nose bleed, even after she talked to him.
"Why is Clyde acting normally around me now?" Lori asked.
"I'm guessing that compared to Angewomon, you don't seem that attractive to him anymore." said Lincoln, making Lori scowl at him.
"Speaking of Angewomon," Rusty said from outside Vanzilla while the passenger's side door was still open. "Do you have that thing I asked you to make?"
"Yeah, right here." said Lincoln as he opens his backpack and pulls out a rolled-up, poster-sized, sheet of paper; he then hands it to Rusty.
"What's that?" asked Liam.
"Rusty... asked me to draw a poster of Angewomon for him." said Lincoln while Rusty was gawking at what Lincoln made for him with a goofy smile and blush on his face.
"Can you draw me one?" asked Clyde as he looks away with a blush and smile.
"Me, too." said Zach.
"Wouldn't mind having one of them for me." said Liam.
"Thought you all would like one." said Lincoln as he pulls out three more rolled-up Angewomon posters and handed one to each of his male friends.
"Thanks." said Clyde, Zach, and Liam.
"Didn't you make one for yourself, Lincoln?" asked Rusty.
"It's in my room in Camperzilla." said Lincoln with a blush.
"Boys." Stella, Lalamon, and Lori say in unison.
"Hey, Linc; maybe you should draw posters of all our Digimon partners and their Digivolved forms for us." suggested Zach.
"Make sure to make lots of Leomon posters for the girls here." said Stella.
"Yeah, I figure they would want those for themselves." said Rusty with a pout.
"Let's get going." said Lori. After Lisa makes a hole in the barrier big enough for Vanzilla to go through, the group was on their way.
As they make their way through Royal Woods, the group notices the devestation left behind by Titamon's forces when they first arrived.
"Hope we can stop this from happening to every other city in the world." said Stella.
"We have to defeat Titamon before he gets the chance to do that." said Clyde.
"Let's just take down whatever is making the barrier for now." said Lincoln. Moments later, they arrived at the Royal Woods Cemetery. "Okay; looks like the beam is coming from here."
"Doesn't look like it suffered any damage so far." said Zach.
"Good; Lucy would literally be devastated if this place was destroyed, even if we can't tell whether she was or not." said Lori.
"Let's go, everyone." said Lincoln as he, his friends, their Digimon partners, and Lori, all start going through the cemetery to where the barrier-creating energy beam was coming from. As they do, they all get the feeling that they were being watched by something.
"I got a bad feeling about being here." said Lincoln.
"Well, this is a cemetery, Lincoln." said Lori. "Only people we know who don't mind hanging out in this place are Lucy and her goth friends."
"Let's make this quick." said Stella. A freezing gust of wind blows through the area, sending chills through their bodies.
"Man, that's cold!" said Clyde.
"I am, literally, out of here!" said Lori as she turns towards where she parked Vanzilla, only to come face-to-face with a Bakemon.
"Boo." the Bakemon says to her.
"AAAAAAAAH!" screamed Lori, getting the attention of Lincoln and his friends, who notice the Bakemon, along with several other ones, right behind them.
"Bakemon!" exclaimed Lincoln.
"It would make sense that they would hang out here." said Clyde.
"They're probably guarding what's making Titamon's barrier." said Zach.
"Who cares?!" shouts Lori. "Just get rid of them!"
"You heard the lady!" said Gaomon as he does a few air punches.
"Let's send these ghosts on to the afterlife!" said Gotsumon. He and the other Digimon charge towards the opposing Bakemon, ready for a battle.
"Pepper Breath!" shouts Agumon before he launches a fireball out of his mouth, hitting one of the Bakemon, sending it flying.
"Rock Fist!" shouts Gotsumon as he launches a bunch of rocks from his head, hitting a few more Bakemon.
"Holy Shot!" shouts Kudamon as he fires a beam of light from his paws tht hits another Bakemon.
"Double Backhand!" shouts Gaomon as he spins towards some Bakemon and hits them with his fists.
"Lala Spiral!" shouts Lalamon as she charges at a Bakemon while the leaf on top of her head spins and she slashes the Bakemon with it."
"That's literally amazing!" said Lori. She turned to see a Bakemon flying towards her, causing her to scream, getting Agumon attention; he charges at the Bakemon.
"Claw Attack!" shouts Agumon as he repeatedly claws the Bakemon, knocking it to the ground.
"Thanks, Agumon; I would literally do anything for a partner Digimon." said Lori. The group looked around for more Bakemon, but didn't see any.
"I think that's all of them." said Clyde.
"Good; let's find whatever's making that beam and get rid of it." said Lincoln. The group followed the energy beam until they saw the obelisk that the barrier beam was coming from.
"There it is." said Zach.
"We know what's making that beam, but what's that there Digimon that's near it." said Liam, pointing at a huge, skeletal elephant with a red orb in its ribcage, wearing a gold mask with a trunk and long tusks. Liam points his artifact at the Digimon.
"That's SkullMammothmon." said Liam. "Hoo boy, that's a Mega Level Digimon, Undead Type, Virus Attribute; special attack, Spiral Bone Crusher."
"Mega Level?!" said Clyde.
"Is that bad?" asked Lori.
"Mega Level's the highest level of Digimon." replied Stella; she looks at her artifact. "I wish Seraphimon told us how to use these to Digivolve our Digimon to Mega before we returned home."
"What do we do?" asked Zach.
"Well, we're not leaving until that thing making the barrier is destroyed." said Lincoln. "We should all Digivolve our partners to their Ultimate Forms and charge SkullMammothmon, while one of us smashes that obelisk while it's distracted."
"Seems like the best we can do right now with what we got." said Stella.
"Let's do this." said Clyde. The group uses their artifacts to Digivolve their partners to their Ultimate Forms; this gets SkullMammothmon's attention.
"I've been expecting you!" said SkullMammothmon.
"Then expect a butt-kicking from us!" said MachGaogamon as he and the other Digimon charge forward.
"Barrel Smash!" shouts RizeGreymon as he swings his gun barrel arm at SkullMammothmon, only for it to be blocked by his opponent's trunk.
"Grand Charge!" shouts SkullMammothmon as it charges forward and rams RizeGreymon, sending him crashing to the ground.
"Winning Knuckle!" shouts MachGaogamon as he punches SkullMammothmon in its forehead, but with little effect; SkullMammothmon swings its trunk and knocks MachGaogamon aside, making him crash into the ground.
"Lila Needle!" shouts Lilamon as she fires a needle from one of her flower hands at SkullMammothmon, only for it to bounce off its skull; it wraps its trunk around Lilamon and starts squeezing her.
"Big Bang Blow!" shouts Meteormon as he punches SkullMammothmon in the side of its head, making it release Lilamon who falls to the ground; SkullMammothmon turns at Meteormon and stomps down hard on him, driving him into the ground like a railroad spike.
"Holy Wave!" shouts Chirinmon as he flies up while a white aura surrounds his wings and flaps them, releasing the aura that hits SkullMammothmon, making it take a step back. "Wind Cutter Sword!" Chirinmon flies towards SkullMammothmon with his horn towards SkullMammothmon; it swings its trunk at Chirinmon, hitting him, and knocking him to the ground.
"Don't let that bonehead take you down!" said Stella. The Digimon gets back up and charges at SkullMammothmon.
"Spiral Bone Crusher!" shouts SkullMammothmon as it spins around, releasing a vertebra from its body that hits all five Digimon at once, knocking them to the ground, and reverting them back to their Rookie Forms.
"This isn't good." said Lincoln.
"What do we do now?" asked Clyde.
"Run." said Kudamon.
"What about you guys?" asked Liam.
"Forget about us; save yourselves!" shouts Kudamon. Liam looks at SkullMammothmon that was walking towards the Digimon; a look of determination appears on his face. "Sorry, Kudamon, but I just can't do that."
"But, Liam..." said Kudamon.
"But nothing!" said Liam. "We've been together through thick and thin in both this world and the Digital World." Unbeknownst to him, his artifact begins to glow. "We've been by each others side, and I ain't leaving yours; so if that big brute wants to bring you down, he'll have to take me down with you!" His artifact suddenly begins to glow with a bright green light.
"What's happening?!" asked Lori.
"I haven't the foggiest idea." replied Liam. A green beam shoots out of his artifact and it hits Kudamon; he floats up from the ground.
"Kudamon, Warp Digivolve to..." said Kudamon. He Digivolves into a glowing green Reppamon, then a glowing green Chirinmon, and finally, an armor clad, six-legged, winged, centaur-like Digimon; when the glowing stopped, the armor was shown to be red with light blue markings on the upper legs, light purple hair on its head, a light blue horse tail, a white loin cloth with a light blue symbol on it, golden wings on its back, a crossbow in its left hand and a shield on its right hand. "...KENTAUROSMON!" Liam points his artifact at Kudamon's new form.
"That there's Kentaurosmon." said Liam. "Mega Level, Holy Knight, Vaccine Attribute; special attack, Inferno Frost."
"He literally looks amazing!" said Lori. Kentaurosmon turned towards SkullMammothmon.
"It doesn't matter if you Digivolved to Mega, I'll still crush you!" shouts SkullMammothmon. "Spiral Bone Crusher!" It spins around, releasing another vertebra from its body at Kentaurosmon.
"Tactical Stomp!" shouts Kentaurosmon as he jumps high into the air, dodging SkullMammothmon's attack; he comes down at SkullMammothmon and kicks it with all six of his hooves, knocking it back, and making it fall to the ground.
"Show that walking boneyard whose boss, Kentaurosmon!" shouts Liam. SkullMammothmon gets back up.
"I'll destroy you for that!" shouts SkullMammothmon. "Grand Charge!" It charges at Kentaurosmon.
"Icy Breath!" shouts Kentaurosmon as he holds out his shield towards SkullMammothmon. His shield begins to glow blue; the area suddenly got cold and a blizzard appears out of nowhere. Lincoln, Lori, and his friends, and the other Digimon begin shivering.
"Let's get inside Vanzilla." said Lori. Everyone except Kentaurosmon runs to Vanzilla and climbs inside. SkullMammothmon begins shivering until he freezes.
"It's frozen to the bone." said Clyde.
"Well, that's basically what it is." said Stella.
"Take him down!" shouts Liam. Kentaurosmon nods and aims his crossbow at SkullMammothmon.
"Inferno Frost!" shouts Kentaurosmon as he fires multiple arrows made of light that hits both SkullMammothmon, and the obelisk as the arrows past through its body.
"AAAAAAAAUGH!" yells SkullMammothmon as he, as well as the obelisk, disintegrates. Everyone in Vanzilla cheered.
"He did it!" said Clyde.
"He literally did." said Lori. Liam jumps out of Vanzilla and runs to Kentaurosmon just as he De-Digivolves back to Wanyamon; Liam picks him up.
"You put that SkullMammothmon up to pasture, Wanyamon." said Liam.
"He sure did." said Zach as he and the others joined Liam.
"You gonna draw Kentaurosmon in your journal, Lincoln?" asked Liam.
"Sure thing, Liam." said Lincoln.
Everyone gets into Vanzilla and head back to the safe zone. Later that night in Camperzilla, Lori and Lincoln were telling the rest of the Louds about the battle in the cemetery.
"I wish I was there." said Lucy with actual disappointment in her voice.
"Weren't you scared, Lori?" asked Lana.
"I wasn't scared for a second." said Lori as she takes a bite of food that Lynn Sr prepared.
"Boo." Lucy said from behind Lori, making her scream, and everyone else laugh.
Soon, it was time for bed; while most of the family slept, Lincoln was writing about the day's events, as well as drawing SkullMammothmon and Kentaurosmon in his journal.
"One obelisk down, five to go." Lincoln says to you. "We're one step closer to bringing down the barrier, rescuing everyone inside, and taking down Titamon. I don't know what to expect at the other obelisks, but we can handle it."
"Who are you talking to, Lincoln?" asked Agumon.
"Forget it, Agumon; it's just something I tend to do." said Lincoln. He then turns off his lamp, and he and Agumon go to sleep.
Will Lincoln and his friends' Digimon be able to defeat Titamon? Wait and find out.
