Zach, Liam, Leni, Luan, and their partner Digimon arrived at the Bony Resort to look for what is causing the stream of energy that is keeping the opening between the human world and the Digital World from closing. During the trip, Leni's partner, Yokomon, Digivolved back to Luxmon.
"Bet Lucy wishes she was coming with us." said Leni as she trembles at the surrounding graveyard they were currently walking through.
"She was practically begging to come along." said Luan.
"But she already did some travelling and should let her partner relax, or at least until another attack on Floatia forces him to battle." said Zach.
As the group travels through Bony Resort, another Vilemon was watching their every move.
Back with the two remaining evil Digimon, they were monitoring what the Vilemon was observing.
"It seems they're heading for the next pillar." said Blastmon.
"We must stop them at once." said Volcanicdramon.
"GranKuwagamon should be there with Oboromon." said Blastmon.
"They'll take care of those humans and their Digimon servants." said Volcanicdramon.
"They'd better be." said Blastmon. "We already lost Regalecusmon, and one of our pillars in the process, and that's one too many in my opinion.
Meanwhile, back at the Bony Resort, Zach, Liam, Leni, Luan, and their Digimon partners continue walking through the area; moments later, they spot the crystal pillar.
"There's what's making that energy thingy." said Leni.
"Let's tear that eyesore down so we can leave; this place gives me the creeps." said Luan. The group begin running towards the crystal pillar. Suddenly, a skeletal, humanoid Digimon clad in samurai armor, had a light blue, skull-shaped flame for a lower body, a blue, left arm that resembled a skeletal serpent, and a purple, tattered scarf rose out of the ground, causing the group to stop in their tracks.
"Whoa, what in tarnation is that?" asked Liam. Luan holds out her artifact towards the Digimon.
"That's Oboromon." said Luan. "Ultimate Level, Undead Type, Virus Attribute; special attack, Countless Tachi."
"You humans will not destroy this crystal pillar." said Oboromon. "You will however surrender to my masters."
"We came here to destroy that thing and we're not leaving until we do." replied Zach.
"Since you will neither surrender or leave, we will have to destroy you all." said Oboromon.
"We?" asked Luan.
"Bakemon!" yelled Oboromon. Several Bakemon rose out of the ground.
"Bakemon." said Zach. He turned towards Liam, Leni, and Luan and he holds up his artifact. "Ready, guys?" Liam, Leni, and Luan nod before they and Zach push a button on their artifacts; their partner Digimon begin spinning.
"Gotsumon, Digivolve to..." said Gotsumon as he continued to spin until he became Golemon.
"...GOLEMON!" shouts Golemon.
"Kudamon, Digivolve to..." said Kudamon as he continued spinning until he beceame Reppamon.
"...REPPAMON!" shouts Reppamon.
"Luxmon, Digivolve to..." said Luxmon as he continued to spin until he became Piddomon.
"...PIDDOMON!" shouts Piddomon.
"Palmon, Digivolve to..." said Palmon as she continued to spin until she became Togemon.
"...TOGEMON!" shouts Togemon. The four Champion Level partner Digimon charged at the Bakemon.
"Dark Claw!" shouts two Bakemon as giant hands come out from underneath their cloaks and come towards Golemon, but he catches them.
"Sulfur Plume!" shouts Golemon as he releases hot gas from his mouth at the two Bakemon and hits them, making them disintegrate. Another Bakemon comes at Golemon from behind.
"Ghost Chop!" shouts Bakemon as it raises an arm.
"Golem Punch!" shouts Golemon as he turns around and punches Bakemon, making it disintegrate.
"All right, Golemon!" cheered Zach.
Two more Bakemon were floating towards Reppamon.
"Poison Breath!" shouts the Bakemon as they releases black smoke from their mouths at Reppamon, but he jumps to the side, dodging the attack.
"Razor Wind!" shouts Reppamon as he swings his tail, releasing a blade of wind from it and it cuts through the Bakemon, making them disintgrate.
"Dark Claw!" shouts another Bakemon as a giant hand comes out of its cloak towards Reppamon, but he jumps up, dodging Bakemon's attack.
"Lion Claw!" shouts Reppamon as he comes down at the Bakemon and repeatedly claws it until it disintegrated.
"Hoo-ee; you showed those Bakemon." said Liam.
Another Bakemon floated towards Piddomon.
"Ghost Chop!" shouts the Bakemon as it raises an arm and brings it down towards Piddomon, but he blocks Bakemon's arm with his staff.
"Apollo Tornado!" shouts Piddomon as fire surrounds his staff; he spins and strikes Bakemon with his staff, making it disintegrate.
"Poison Breath!" shouts two more Bakemon as they release smoke from their mouths at Piddomon, but he flies up and dodges the smoke.
"Fire Feather!" shouts Piddomon as he launches fiery feathers from his wings and they hit the Bakemons, making them disintegrate.
"Yay, Piddomon!" cheered Leni.
Another Bakemon floated towards Togemon.
"Ghost Chop!" shouts the Bakemon as it raises an arm.
"Coconut Punch!" shouts Togemon before she punches Bakemon, making it disintegrate.
"Dark Claw!" shouts another Bakemon as a giant hand comes out from its cloak at Togemon.
"Lightspeed Jabbing!" shouts Togemon as she punches Togemon's hand aside, then rapidly punches the Bakemon, making it disintegrate.
"Ghost Chop!" shouts the remaining Bakemon as it floats at Togemon with an arm raises; it brings its arm down and hits Togemon. Bakemon floats back, waving its arm that had needles sticking into it.
"That's what you get for karate chopping a giant cactus." said Luan.
"How would you like some more needles, Bakemon?" asked Togemon. "Needle Spray!" Togemon releases several neeedles from her body and they pierce through Bakemon, making it disintegrate.
"That Bakemon 'needle' to learn its lesson the hard way." said Luan. "Ha, ha, ha; get it?" Everyone else moans in response. The four partner Digimon turned towards Oboromon.
"Now it's just you." Reppamon says to Oboromon.
"Fools; I'll destroy you all myself!" yelled Oboromon; a blade comes out of the mouth of its left arm. Oboromon floats towards the partner Digimon.
"Golem Punch!" shouts Golemon as he tries to punch Oboromon, but it dodges Golemon's fist.
"Countless Tachi!" shouts Oboromon before it swings its blade at Golemon and slashes him, knocking him back.
"Lion Claw!" shouts Reppamon as he pounces at Oboromon.
"Countless Tachi!" shouts Oboromon as it swings its blade at Reppamon and slashes him, knocking him to the ground.
"Piddo Speed!" shouts Piddomon as flies at Oboromon with incredible speed and swings his staff at Oboromon, but it blocks Piddomon's staff with its blade.
"Mysteriousness!" shouts Oboromon before its scarf floats away from it and swings strikes Piddomon, knocking him to the ground. Oboromon's scarf floats next to it.
"That scarf has a mind of its own." said Zach.
"Coconut Punch!" shouts Togemon as she charges at Obormon with an arm raised. Obormon's scarf floats at Togemon and wrap itself around her legs, stopping her from running.
"Countless Tachi!" shouts Oboromon before it swings its blade at Togemon, slashing her, and knocking her to the ground. Oboromon's scarf unwraps itself from Togemon's legs and returns to Obormon. Golemon, Reppamon, and Piddomon run to Togemon who was getting up.
"Are you all right, Togemon?" asked Piddomon.
"Yeah, I'm fine." replied Togemon.
"Outspread Burning Gate!" shouts Oboromon before its flame detaches from its body and flies at the partner Digimon, hitting them, and making them fall to the ground; the flame reattaches itself to Oboromon's body. Golemon, Reppamon, Piddomon, and Togemon.
"Keep battling!" said Luan. The partner Digimon nod before they charge at Oboromon.
"Sulfur Plume!" shouts Golemon as it opens its mouth. Oboromon's scarf floats to Golemon and wraps itself around Golemon's head; he stumbles around.
"Countless Tachi!" shouts Oboromon before it swings its blade at Golemon and slashes him, knocking him to the ground.
"Rolling Tackle!" shouts Reppamon as he does an aerial somersault towards Obormon.
"Outspread Burning Gate!" shouts Oboromon as the flame from its body detaches from it and it hits Reppamon, making him fall to the ground; the flame then reattaches itself to Oboromon.
"Piddo Speed!" shouts Piddomon as he charges at Oboromon with incredible speed. Oboromon's scarf floats in front of Piddomon and strikes him, knocking him to the ground.
"I'll never look at a scarf the same way again." said Leni.
"Needle Spray!" shouts Togemon before she fires several needles from her body at Oboromon. It deflects the needles with its blade while its scarf knocks several aside.
"Countless Tachi!" shouts Oboromon before it slashes Togemon with its blade, knocking her to the ground.
"Guys; I think it's time to take this battle to the next level." said Liam, holding up his artifact that begins to glow. Liam, Leni, and Luan nod before holding up their artifacts that also begin to glow. They push glowing buttons on their artifacts and their partner Digimon begin to spin.
"Golemon, Digivolve to..." said Golemon as he begins to spin faster while glowing; when he stopped glowing, he was now Meteromon.
"...METEORMON!" shouts Meteormon.
"Reppamon, Digivolve to..." said Reppamon as he continued to spin. A cyclone of light surrounds Reppamon; when the cyclone vanishes, he was now Chirinmon.
"...CHIRINMON!" shouts Chirinmon.
"Piddomon, Digivolve to..." said Piddomon as he continued to spin. Fire consumes Piddomon; when the flames dispersed, he was now ArkhaiAngemon.
"...ARKHAIANGEMON!" shouts ArkhaiAngemon.
"Togemon, Digivolve to..." said Togemon as she kept spinning. Togemon began to grow while tree bark forms on her and leaves grow on top of her; she was now Cherrymon.
"...CHERRYMON!" shouts Cherrymon.
"Outspreading Burning Gate!" shouts Oboromon as it detaches its flame from its body at ArkhaiAngemon.
"Brave Aura!" shouts ArkhaiAngemon as the flame from his staff surrounds him and Oboromon's flame crashes against it; the flame reattaches itself to Oboromon.
"Cherry Bomb!" shouts Cherrymon as she shoots cherries from the top of her and they hit Oboromon, exploding on impact, and knocking Oboromon back.
"Countless Tachi!" shouts Oboromon as it floats towards the partner Digimon with its blade raised.
"Big Bang Blow!" shouts Meteormon as he swings a fist at Oboromon's blade and punches it, making it shatter.
"My blade!" shouts Oboromon. "I'll destroy you for that!" Oboromon's scarf comes towards the partner Digimon.
"Knowledge of Swift!" shouts Chirinmon as he creates clones of himself. The scarf floats to each clone, unable to decide which one to attack. A Chirinmon leaps at the scarf and slashes it with his horn, making it disintegrate.
"I liked that scarf!" shouts Oboromon.
"Would have been better with cute kittens on it." said Leni.
"Holy Wave!" shouts Chirinmon. A white aura surrounds his wings; a wave of the aura fires out of Chirinmon's wings and it hits Oboromon, knocking it to the ground.
"Outspreading Burning Gate!" shouts Oboromon as it detaches its flame from its body and throws it at the partner Digimon.
"Saint Legion!" shouts ArkhaiAngemon as fiery spirits appear above him and they fly towards Oboromon while breaking through Oboromon's flame and consuming Oboromon.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!" shouts Oboromon before it disintegrates.
"Hooray!" cheered Leni.
"Guess ArkhaiAngemon's flame was stronger than Oboromon's." said Zach.
"Let's go tear that energy stream thingamajigger and get back to Floatia." said Liam. The group begin walking towards the crystal pillar when GranKuwagamon floats down in front of it.
"This is as far as you go, humans!" shouts GranKuwagamon.
"What is that?" asked Leni. Luan holds out her artifact towards GranKuwagamon.
"That's GranKuwagamon." said Luan. "Mega Level, Insect Type, Virus Attribute; special attack, Dimension Scissor."
"GranKuwagamon?" replied Zach. "Isn't that one of the Digimon who put that energy thing up?"
"Yes, and I won't let you or your Digimon partners destroy it!" said GranKuwagamon.
"We came here to destroy that thing and we're not leaving until we do." said Luan.
"So get out of the way, you exterminator's nightmare." said Zach.
"The only way you fools will get to the pillar is through me!" shouts GranKuwagamon before he shuts his mandibles in a threating manner.
"If that's the only way to take down the pillar so we can close the opening between this world and the human world, then so be it." said ArkhaiAngemon.
With Oboromon defeated, the only thing that stands between Liam, Zach, Leni, Luan, and their partner Digimon and destroying the energy pillar is GranKuwagamon. Can they defeat GranKuwagamon and destroy the pillar? Wait and find out.
