Liam, Zach, Leni, Luan, Chirinmon, Meteormon, ArkhaiAngemon, and Cherrymon are in the Bony Resort, facing one of the evil Digimon that were keeping the opening between the human world and the Digital World from closing; GranKuwagamon.
"You guys, like, think we can beat this Digimon?" asked Leni as she looked nervously at GranKuwagamon.
"Not sure; it is a Mega Level Digimon." replied Luan.
"But there's four of us and only one of that." said Liam, pointing at GranKuwagamon.
"It does not matter whether it's a Mega or not; we must do what we can to defeat it so we can destroy that pillar." said Chirinmon.
"That's right; we need to tear that pillar down." said Meteormon.
"We will defeat GranKuwagamon no matter what." said ArkhaiAngemon.
"Then let's take that overgrown bug down." said Cherrymon.
"You will try and you will fail!" yelled GranKuwagamon before it flew towards the group; the four Ultimate Level Digimon charged in response.
"Vine Attack!" shouts Cherrymon before long vines come out of her body and they wrap around GranKuwagamon, making it fall, but it lands on its feet.
"Way to go, Cherrymon." said Luan. GranKuwagamon spreads its arms apart, tearing through the vines that ensnared it.
"Catastrophe!" shouts GranKuwagamon before it fires energy beams from its wings and they hit Cherrymon, blasting her, and knocking her to the ground. "Timber."
"Are you okay, Cherrymon?" asked Luan. Cherrymon struggles to get back up; ArkahiAngemon flies in front of Cherrymon.
"I will protect you, Cherrymon." said ArkhaiAngemon. "Heaven's Flame!" ArkhaiAngemon releases a massive wave of fire from his staff at GranKuwagamon.
"Grand Darkness!" shouts GranKuwagamon as energy gathered around its body; it flies towards ArkhaiAngemon while spirialing through ArkhaiAngemon's attack, and pierces his body, knocking him to the ground.
"ArkhaiAngemon!" shouts Leni.
"I will be fine; it's important you and your siblings and friends are too." said ArkhaiAmngemon as he struggles to get up.
"Falling Star!" shouts Meteormon; a large rock appeared in the air and it falls towards GranKuwagamon.
"Catastrophe!" shouts GranKuwagamon as it fires energy beams from its wings and they hit the large rock, destroying it. "Grand Darkness!" Energy gathered around its body; it flies towards Meteormon while spirialing and pierces Meteormon's body, knocking him to the ground.
"Don't let that oversized bug beat you, Meteormon." said Zach. Meteormon gets back on his feet.
"Wind Cutter Sword!" shouts Chirinmon as he flies up into the air and swoops down towards GranKuwagamon with his horn sticking out towards it. GranKuwagamon flies to the side to dodge, but Chirinmon was able to slash GranKuwagamon's abdomen.
"You'll regret that!" shouts GranKuwagamon. "Dimension Scissor!" GranKuwagamon flies after Chirinmon and slashes him with its mandibles, making Chirinmon fall to the ground.
"Don't give up, partner!" said Liam.
"I never planned to." replied Chirinmon. He, along with Meteormon, ArkhaiAngemon, and Cherrymon faced GranKuwagamon.
"Cherry Bomb!" shouts Cherrymon as she fires multiple cherries from the top of her and they hit GranKuwagamon, exploding on impact.
"Z Black Hole!" shouts GranKuwagamon as it forms a gigantic orb of black energy between its hands and it throws it at Cherrymon, hitting her, and knocking her to the ground; she De-Digivolved to Palmon.
"Palmon, are you okay?!" asked Luan as she runs to Palmon and helps her up.
"I'm...sorry, Luan; I tried." replied Palmon.
"It's okay." said Luan.
"That was, totes, mean!" Leni yelled at ArkhaiAngemon.
"I'll take that as a compliment." replied GranKuwagamon. It turned to see ArkhaiAngemon flying towards it. "Catastrophe!" GranKuwagamon fires beams fo energy from its wings at ArkhaiAngemon.
"Brave Aura!" shouts ArkhaiAngemon. The flame from his staff surrounds his body, blocking GranKuwagamon's attack. "Saint Legion!" ArkhaiAngemon summons fiery spirits and they fly at GranKuwagamon and they hit it.
"Dimension Scissor!" shouts GranKuwagamon as it flies at ArkhaiAngemon and cuts him with its mandibles. ArkhaiAngemon falls to the ground and De-Digivolves back to Luxmon.
"Luxmon!" shouts Leni as she runs to Luxmon and helps him up. "Are you, like, all right?"
"As long as you and the others are safe, then that's all that really matters to me." replied Luxmon. Leni smiles in response while tears form in her eyes.
"Leave that oversize locust to us." said Liam.
"Galactic Flare!" shouts Meteormon before meteors fall from the sky and they hit GranKuwagamon, making it fall to the ground on its feet. "Big Bang Blow!" Meteormon runs towards GranKuwagamon with an arm raised back.
"Z Black Hole!" shouts GranKuwagamon before it formed a ball of black energy between its hands and it launches it at Meteormon, hitting him, and knocking him to the ground.
"Knowledge of Swift!" shouts Chirinmon as it moves around, leaving clones of himself around the area. As GranKuwagamon looks at all the clones, one of the Chirinmons flies at GranKuwagamon and slashes it with his horn.
"Grand Darkness!" shouts GranKuwagamon. Energy gathered around its body; it flies towards Chirinmon while spirialing and pierces Chirinmon, knocking him to the ground.
"Don't give up, you two!" shouts Zach.
"We won't." replied Meteormon.
"Fine; I preferred to destroy you all anyway." said GranKuwagamon.
"Holy Wave!" shouts Chirinmon as he fires a wave of white aura from his wings at GranKuwagamon, but it flies up, dodging the attack.
"Catastrophe!" shouts GranKuwagamon as it fires beams of energy from its wings and they hit Chirinmon, knocking him to the ground where he De-Digivolves back to Kudamon.
"Big Bang Blow!" shouts Meteormon as he charges at GranKuwagamon.
"Z Black Hole!" shouts GranKuwagamon. It formed a ball of black energy between its hands and it launches it at Meteormon, hitting him, and knocking him to the ground; he De-Digivolves back into Gotsumon.
"You fellers' okay?" asked Liam as he runs to Kudamon while Zach runs to Gotsumon.
"We're fine." replied Gotsumon as he gets back up while Kudamon floats back up into the air.
"You wretches don't stand a chance against me." replied GranKuwagamon.
"You don't know that!" replied Zach.
"As long as these two are willing to fight, they will whoop you!" said Liam.
"Big words; you fools have what it takes to back them up?" asked GranKuwagamon. As Liam and Zach faced GranKuwagamon, their artifacts begins to glow brightly. Liam and Zach look at each other and nod; they each push a glowing button on their artifacts.
"Kudamon, Warp Digivolve to..." said Kudamon as a green beam of energy comes out of Liam's artifact and consumes Kudamon. He turns into a glowing green Reppamon, then a glowing green Chirinmon, and finally, Kentaurosmon.
"...KENTAUROSMON!" shouts Kentaurosmon.
"Gotsumon, Warp Digivolve to..." said Gotsumon as a gray beam of energy comes out of Zach's artifact and consumes Gotsumon. He turns into a glowing gray Golemon, a glowing gray Meteormon, and finally, EBEmon.
"...EBEMON!" shouts EBEmon. Both Mega Level partner Digimon faced GranKuwagamon.
"It doesn't matter if there's two of you; I'll still destroy you!" yelled GranKuwagamon.
"We'll see about that, won't we?" replied Kentaurosmon.
"Grand Darkness!" shouts GranKuwagamon as it gathered energy around its body; he flies towards Kentaurosmon while spiraling. Kentaurosmon blocks GranKuwagamon with his shield.
"Tactical Stomp!" shouts Kentaurosmon before he stomps down on GranKuwagamon with his front feet, smashing GranKuwagamon onto the ground; GranKuwagamon gets back up.
"You'll pay for that!" shouts GranKuwagamon.
"For stomping you into the ground like the bug you are?" replied Kentaurosmon.
"Yes!" shouts GranKuwagamon.
"Brain Rupture!" shouts EBEmon as he fires a beam out of the gun on his left hand at GranKuwagamon; it blocks it with its arms.
"You will not control my mind!" yelled GranKuwagamon.
"Fine; probably no brain in your head anyway." replied EBEmon.
"How dare you!" shouts GranKuwagamon. "Z Black Hole!" GranKuwagamon forms a ball of black energy between its hands and he throws it at EBEmon, hitting him.
"Muspelheimr!" shouts Kentaurosmon as he fires arrows from his crossbow and they hit GranKuwagamon, hitting it.
"Catastrophe!" shouts GranKuwagamon as it fires beams of energy from its wings and they hit Kentaurosmon, knocking him back.
"Good thing my armor's made of Red Digizoid." said Kentaurosmon.
"Maybe, but it won't protect you for long!" shouts GranKuwagamon. "Dimension Scissor!" GranKuwagamon flies at Kentaurosmon and snips his chest with its mandibles, making Kentaurosmon stumble back. EBEmon was aiming the blaster on his right hand.
"I must be sure not to hit Kentaurosmon with my Planet Destroyer." said EBEmon; GranKuwagamon sees EBEmon.
"I don't think so!" shouts GranKuwagamon. "Z Black Hole!" GranKuwagamon forms a ball of black energy between its hands and he throws it at EBEmon, hitting him.
"Luxmon, can you make one of your Cloud Barriers?" Kentaurosmon asked Luxmon.
"I believe I have the strength to." replied Luxmon.
"Everyone; get behind Luxmon's barrier." said Kentaurosmon.
"Cloud Barrier!" shout Luxmon as he forms a circular shield around himself, Palmon, Liam, Zach, Leni, and Luan.
"Icy Breath!" shouts Kentaurosmon. His shield glows blue and a massive blizzard appears and blows onto GranKuwagamon while Luxmon's barrier protected the others from Kentaurosmon's attack; seconds later, GranKuwagamon was encased in ice.
"GranKuwagamon's frozen." said Luan.
"Now's the chance to finish it off!" shouts Zach. Kentaurosmon and EBEmon looked at each other and nod. Kentaurosmon aims his crossbow at GranKuwagamon while EBEmon aimed his blaster at it.
"Inferno Frost!" shouts Kentaurosmon before multiple arrows of light fire out of his crossbow.
"Planet Destroyer!" shouts EBEmon as he fires a powerful beam of energy out of his blaster. The arrows and energy beam hits GranKuwagamon; the ice around GranKuwagamon shatters as the arrows continue hitting it and the beam of energy consumes it.
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!" shouts GranKuwagamon before it disintegrated.
"They did it!" cheered Liam.
"Way to go, you two!" said Zach. Kentaurosmon De-Digivolves back into Kudamon while EBEmon De-Digivolves back to Gotsumon. Liam runs to Kudamon and hugs him while Zach runs to Gotsumon. "You guys were great."
"Thanks, Zach." replied Gotsumon.
"You showed that varmint not to mess with you." Liam says to Kudamon.
"Guys, look at the pillar." said Luan. Everyone else looks to see the pillar the energy stream that was keeping the opening between the Digital World and the human world opened was disintegrating.
"What happened to it?" asked Leni.
"I didn't see Kentaurosmon or EBEmon hit it." said Liam.
"I guess that pillar was linked to GranKuwagamon." said Zach.
"So, when GranKuwagamon was destroyed, that pillar did too?" asked Palmon.
"I guess." replied Zach.
"Okay, we have no reason to stay here now." said Kudamon.
"Let's return to Floatia and tell everyone what we found out." said Luxmon.
"Yeah, this place scares me." said Leni.
"Don't worry, Leni; I'll make sure you're safe." said Luxmon.
"Thanks, Luxmon." replied Leni.
"One more thing." said Luxmon. He looks up to see a Vilemon in the air, looking at them; it turned and tried to fly away. "Tiny Knuckle!" Luxmon fires a beam of energy from his fist and it hits Vilemon, making it disintegrate.
"Let's mosey on back to Floatia." said Liam. The group then continue the journey back to Floatia.
With Volcanicdramon and Blastmon, they looked at a monitor with static on it.
"Those humans and their Digimon defeated GranKuwagamon!" shouts Volcanicdramon.
"We must not underestimate them, Volcanicdramon." said Blastmon.
"Blastmon, bring some of our forces to Absolute Zero and protect the pillar there.; those humans and their Digimon must not destroy it!" said Volcanicdramon.
"Yes, Volcanicdramon." said Blastmon; he turns and runs off.
With GranKuwagamon defeated, only Volcanicdramon and Blastmon stand between Lincoln and the others from saving both the human world and the Digital World. Will they defeat Volcanicdramon and Blastmon? Wait and find out.
