Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

I awoke with a headache, it had been 4 years since arrived in the world of MHA. I didn't know much about the series, woulda paid more attention in my previous life if I knew id be here, as it was I barely remembered the main class of 1-A. As I climbed out of bed a small blue screen was there, a bit cliché but a simple system display was there.

[you have awakened the Quirk Runeterran Shuffle, every day when you awake you will be given a random champion from League of Legends as well as two rerolls to be used for that day, rerolls do not carry over and you must sleep before you are automatically shuffled. this system does not keep track of stats, levels, or points, this systems only purpose is to inform the host of what character they currently have access to and how many rerolls you currently have, other details will have to be discovered by the Host as they use and evolve their quirk

Current Champion-- Zeri

Rerolls-2]

I examined my hands, green sparks jumping from my fingertips as i focused, i felt lighter and faster, the lightning was in my veins. I jumped out of bed, my quirk was late. i had already turned 12 and now would hopefully join UA at 14, i think that was the age the main cast was, I couldn't remember many plot points. as i walked down the stairs i could hear my mother humming as she cooked, the smell of bacon wafting through the air. My mothers quirk was simple, it projected her voice, not in a massive destructive wave like speaker guy at UA, but she could project her voice in way that everyone within a radius could hear her as if she was right next to them, though she preferred to speak softly as she didn't have much control.

"good morning Garrick" my mother spoke softly as she placed my plate on the table as I sat down. I took a bite of my bacon, "my quirk awoke" I said after a moment. my mother didn't say much but smiled "well go get you registered after breakfast." she said, after all breakfast was sacred, it set the tone for the day.

a quick trip later and I was registered as a lightning user, though I tried to inform the doc that i felt there was more to my power, the rather tired looking nurse simply looked at me "I'm sure there is, everyone thinks their the next All Might after all" she said tiredly

a little annoyed I focused on my interface, by simply imagining myself pushing the button I initiated a reroll.

[Current Champion-- Kayn

Rerolls-- 1]

I sighed and leaned backwards, I knew i could instinctively used abilities belonging to each hero's base kit as long as it didn't require special equipment, no Ashe arrows or Vi pummels since I didn't have a bow or the Hextech Gauntlets, but Kayn didn't use Rhaast to phase so it should be fine. I felt myself melt into the darkness of my own shadow against the wall, a little weird, I could feel that I would be able to go any direction through the wall, up, down, or sideways. this couldn't be displayed in game, which got me curious on the limits of each hero, even if I could use each hero's game abilities instinctively, could i push their lore abilities if I trained them.

I could feel the strain of keeping this state, a strain of focus, i suppose i could train that to. the view out of the shadows was rather dim, as if i was trying to watch my phone at minimum brightness. i pushed out of the shadows and rather spectacularly fell on my face as i appeared, the nurse looked shocked, the doctor raised an eyebrow, and my mother laughed as i stood. "i feel different, like I'm channeling something else, its like I'm holding onto something i think i can channel different powers, but only one at a time" i said, bluffing completely.

the doc sat down "is that right? well then, there's no way to categorize that. how about you name it then." he said. i thought a moment, "my power is League," i said simply. the doc nodded simply and noted it down, "since your power can vary you'll need to update it with us when something new is discovered, every once in a while you'll need to fill out a form to submit it, but im sure you can handle it."

on the way home I repeatedly phased my hand in and out of my own shadow. my quirk was weird, i don't know how it would work with characters like Viktor or Corki, who relied entirely on their tech and gear. with no way to test it though, I could only wait and see.

That night my father got home. a simple man with a simple quirk, he could recall the last item he threw, there didn't seem to be a time limit, but it was limited to things he could throw with his hands. "HEY KIDDO, IM HOME!" he said loudly, his presence making up for every bit of quietness my mother had and them some. "I hear your quirk awoke! League huh? I'm excited to see what powers come from your 'League'. And ill document everything for the legal stuff, you don't have to worry about a thing." he proclaimed as he tossed his belongings everywhere, much to the annoyance of my mother.

after that we sat down, ate, and went to bed. by morning he was back at work, just like always.

after breakfast i headed to school, today was Warwick. and EVERYTHING smelled, looked, and felt more intense. I put on sunglasses but that's about all i could do, nothing could drown out the smell and the sound of everything at once sucked. my mother noticed my discomfort and sat down with a notepad. "what is it dear" she asked. and we spent awhile going through it, my mother had decided to name each power I channeled. to which i gave her the champion name, didn't want to overcomplicate things.

i headed out the door, off to buy eggs for mother. if breakfast was interrupted mother would have a fit, after all to her breakfast was sacred, not even Father was willing to risk disrupting that.
