"Good morning sir" Tiffany said as she tried adjusting her skirt while staring at the cold blue eyes.
"What's so good about the morning. Why didn't you come to the office yesterday?" Liam asked staring back at the brown eyes of his so called secretary.
"I'm so sorry sir. I had to take care of my daughter."Tiffany explained
"That's not enough reason to miss work. Anybody could have done that for you. Doesn't she have a nanny or something?" Liam asked
"Her nanny didn't come yesterday. She had a fever. I couldn't just leave her on her own."
"I'm still not buying that excuse but for now l need you to get me the files on the designs we worked on last week".
"Ok sir". Tiffany said while she went to her office which was adjacent to the Ceo's own. Yeah that's right. He made sure that their offices were close to each other. According to him, he wanted his secretary to be on his beck and call anytime he wanted.
"Here it is"Tiffany said while handing over the file to him.
"You can leave"Liam said while looking at the documents.
As her hand was on the door knob, about to open it
"Miss Tiffany"
"Yes sir" answered Tiffany while gritting her teeth before facing him.
"You won't be leaving early today. We have some designs to work on so we might stay in late. Cancel any plans you have for today"
"Okay sir". Tiffany answered with a calm face meanwhile she was burning inside. She left his office when she saw that that was all.
'Yeah that's your punishment for missing work' thought Liam while staring at her through the glass window. She always tried to act calm with him even when he was always trying to push on her nerves. Though he expected to get a reaction from her while she was in his office earlier but she managed to keep a calm exterior. 'Not for long though' Liam thought while smiling.
He didn't know why but he loved getting her riled up. He loved it when those brown eyes widened and cute pink lips pouted which she does when he thinks he's not looking. She was beautiful. He wouldn't deny that fact. She had this cute eyes, pointed nose, kissable lips and great figure that would have men staring but not him. Who was he kidding?
Tiffany's Pov
"Who does he even think he is?" Tiffany ranted, her face turning pink.
"He's the CEO"Kira answered while trying to hold back her laugh. They were on lunch break and Tiffany had just told her what transpired between her and the boss.
"Don't tell me your on his side" she continued looking angrily at Kira
"You know that's not possible. I'm just telling you why he thinks he can just come up with any decision and throw it at our faces like we don't have our own lives to live. But l guess it's better than losing your job"
"One day, when l've taken enough of his excesses l will talk sense into him. He can't just go around bossing me around."
"I hope that day never comes because you will lose your job that day. I assure you."
"To hell with the job" Tiffany said while walking faster leaving Kira behind.
"I know that's the anger talking not you." while she partially ran to meet up with her.
