Just before Hulk's punch reached me, Phoenix shut down Hulk's mind because it is the master of half of the 5th dimension, where living minds are all interconnected to each other.
It just told me that.
Everything dead is under control of Lady Death.
Dr Strange sighed in relief as Hulk didn't kill me.
But, Professor Hulk has reverted to Hulk. And as Hulk was put to sleep, Bruce Banner woke up in his human state.
"What the hell was that!?"
Banner shouted in surprise.
I released the breath I was holding.
I was just about to be killed. My Telekinesis isn't strong enough to hold Hulk yet, as he easily smashed the Time Machine.
I could only say, "Sorry..."

"So, as if Thanos wasn't enough, now we have to deal with a cosmic entity more powerful than him without infinity stones.
Which can easily take control of anyone's mind, and even resurrect the dead."
Banner groaned as he said what we were thinking.
"I shouldn't have said that in front of you..."
I shook my head.
"Maybe it's better this way. My mind is directly connected to Phoenix. If we got the infinity stones and I would have tried to use them to attain a Kurama-Naruto like relationship with it, it could just have taken control of my mind before I snap my fingers and Phoenix would have merged with me and gotten on Earth."
Dr Strange sighed.
"I was planning to use Time Stone before the snap to determine if it was a possibility. It was still a risky gamble that I would have not taken after knowing the possibilities."
I frowned, "Dr Strange, can Phoenix not take control of any sorcerer's mind to open a portal?"
"No one can control a sorcerer's mind. Maybe only the Mind Stone, but after Time Stone is gone from the hands of the Sorcerer Supreme. Infinity stones can resist each other if they want to."
Oh. No wonder Dr Strange didn't trap Thanos in a time loop.
Banner suddenly furrowed his brows, as if he had a realisation.
"Energy can neither be created, nor destroyed. Even if Thanos destroyed the Infinity Stones, their powers must have dispersed throughout the universe."
"And That's why I can't enter the hex Wanda is trapped in. Wanda's energy is awfully similar to Reality Stone and a bit of Mind Stone."
Dr Strange muttered.
And then he looked at me.
"When Thanos snapped half of the universe, Phoenix also died. And at the same time, you awakened your powers. So, in a way, you are also Phoenix, since forces of nature can't be dead.
Maybe half Phoenix since there were only half of the people in the universe at that time.
Or maybe Phoenix can be dead in all forms. Nobody snapped half of the universe before, so we can't say for certain."
Banner quickly set up some instruments, and said, "focus your telepathy on this machine. Like, fire a beam or something?"
I did as he told me to, and Banner revealed something that gave me hope.
"Your energy readings are very close to the Mind Stone. So, there is a non-zero chance that you will not loose in a battle of minds with Phoenix."
"Except that birdie has experience from the beginning of the universe, and I have gotten to know that I have telepathy just recently. Phoenix only gave me around a decade to live my life as a human."
Banner shrugged, "Hulk had only some 2-3 years of fighting experience against real opponents. He still defeated Thor.
You will do just fine, kid. And we all are here to help you out. And there is the mutation phenomenon going around after multiple snaps from Infinity Stones.
Honestly, you did good that you came forward with the danger you possess. I spent years running away from people, afraid that I will hurt people... Many were actually killed by me when I raged."
"Dr Banner, you didn't have anyone to go to. You didn't have anyone experienced in trying not to loose control. The world has massively changed, and I have Avengers which I can go to get help.
...Please help me in controlling my mind. I don't want to go on a rampage, or cause anyone else to."
"Yeah, I am planning to. We don't want to be caught unprepared just like when Thanos attacked."
Banner already reverted to pre-Professor Hulk state because of me.
I can bring my Mom and Sis another way. Thor: Love and Thunder maybe a shit movie, but there is that whatever thing there was which can resurrect them. What was it's name again? Eternity or something? I only saw the Pitch Meeting for it.
And even if it fails, Phoenix can resurrect them, be it me, actual Phoenix or me loosing myself into Phoenix after merging with it. Negotiating with Lady Death will be the hard part.
Since Time Machine is no longer an option, I need to have some contact with Asgard on Earth and help him out against Gor or whatever his name was.
And Phoenix, I promise that I will only ask for bringing back my family. So, don't ruin things again.
Okay.
You could have just listened to me and not destroyed the Time Machine through Hulk!
No reply came.
Seriously, this birdie is a massive headache. But I can't let its powers fall into others' hands because it is such a strong being.
Banner extended his hand to me, "Well, Pepper and Happy are the main incharge, but I welcome you to Avengers, only as an intern for the time being though."
"Thank you for accepting me. Even though..."
Hulk became a problem for him again due to Phoenix.
"Don't worry about it kid."
So, I became an Avenger Intern.

A satellite footage reached President Ross.
Bruce Banner, who he had reluctantly stopped pursuing ever since he became 'Professor Hulk' and then brought back half of the world, rampaged because of a mutant that worked with the new Captain America for a while in capturing the terrorists.
As if that didn't make him paranoid, the rampaging Hulk suddenly went to sleep and then reverted to Bruce Banner in his normal human form.
He felt chills.
At first, he thought that Mutants were just as dangerous as Hulk.
But Mutants are far more dangerous than Hulk! Especially since the Mutant Jean Grey seems to be capable of controlling Hulk!
She intentionally didn't tell Walker about her mind-control powers!
Mutants are threat to world. And there many of them, popping up left and right!
He immediately called Falcon, who has stopped working with Captain America over differences.
He had ignored her killing the terrorists' families before, but he is going to use it to get her locked up, or better yet, neutralized.
"Yes Mr President?"
"You remember the teen girl with superpowers you worked with?"
"Yeah? Is something wrong President?"
"She killed a bunch of innocent activists. Whatever our current policy is, Democracy is the thing on which USA is built upon.
Arrest her. She is currently with Hulk and has caused him to rampage. And most likely mind controlled him.
Neutralize the threat. If things become dangerous... you are free to shoot."
