Tony's face flushed. "Why am I getting fired? It's my friend who landed a big deal. They want to kick my friend out for no reason. It's their fault, not mine."
"How dare you talk back?" Ms. White interjected. "You're dead weight, dragging down our department's performance and bringing in spies from other companies. Are you trying to leak company secrets?"
Upon hearing these words, Mr. Morales became furious.
"Leave now; if you don't, I'll make you regret it. The most I'll do is compensate you with some money!" Tony was about to argue, but I grabbed his hand. "Let's go; there's no need to remain here any longer! With incompetent supervisors and leaders, is there any future in this company?"
"What did you say?" Mr. Morales's face twitched. "Say it again if you dare."
