Chapter 74 - Chapter 74: Zhu Sisters Vs Dai Mubai I

"Are you trying to provoke me again? It seems the lesson I taught you two years ago wasn't harsh enough. You've forgotten me so quickly."

Dai Mubai's words were identical to those he'd spoken two years prior, and hearing them again made Fu Ye's hands itch with the urge to act.

Dai Mubai found the voice eerily familiar, but for the life of him, he couldn't place it.

At that moment, Zhu Zhuqing turned around—revealing herself to the man she'd waited five long years to see.

Dai Mubai's gaze locked onto her, stunned by her breathtaking beauty and figure. Despite all the women he'd toyed with over the years, none could compare to her.

"Ouch!"

Just like before, he shoved the twin sisters aside and strode toward Zhu Zhuqing with exaggerated gentlemanly flair.

Fu Ye made no move to intervene. He knew exactly what awaited Dai Mubai.

Out of the corner of her eye, Zhu Zhuyun studied her sister.

She was well aware that despite Dai Mubai's youth, his combat prowess as a Soul Grandmaster far surpassed Zhu Zhuqing's abilities.

"Master, do you know him?"

Bound by Fu Ye's slave mark, Zhu Zhuyun had no choice but to address him as master and obey his every whim.

Fu Ye smirked, casually draping an arm over her shoulder and pinching her cheek.

"Two years ago, I brought my sister and my apprentice here to rest. He set his sights on both of them, so I broke every bone in his body as punishment. Yet it seems he still hasn't learned his lesson."

Zhu Zhuyun's cheeks flushed crimson—this was the first time a man had touched her so intimately.

"So, my little servant, do you know him?"

Fu Ye continued kneading the soft flesh of her cheek, reveling in her helplessness under the slave seal's influence.

"Mmm… Master, you're terrible."

Her face burned like a ripened peach. She knew she had no privacy left before him, and this small act was already him showing restraint.

She was acutely aware of her own allure—few men could resist her beauty.

"He was Zhuqing's former fiancé. I've met him before, but he ran away from his family at seven. Perhaps Zhuqing left to find him."

Fu Ye nodded—just as a sharp slap echoed through the room.

"Crack!"

Zhu Zhuqing's palm struck Dai Mubai's face with such force that he staggered backward and crashed into a corner.

"Cough! Cough!"

Fu Ye and Zhu Zhuyun turned to see Dai Mubai slumped against the wall, wheezing. His sunken cheeks, pale lips, and hollow eyes betrayed years of indulgence and erratic living.

Even Zhu Zhuqing froze. Though she'd struck with full strength, it shouldn't have sent a Soul Grandmaster flying!

"My face! Ahh! You bitch! How dare you hit me?!"

Dai Mubai lurched to his feet, trembling with rage. Three soul rings—two yellow, one purple—flared behind him.

"First Soul Skill: White Tiger Shield Body Barrier!"

"Second Soul Skill: White Tiger Intense Light Wave!"

In an instant, a pale shield enveloped him, followed by a beam of golden light erupting from his mouth.

Yet Zhu Zhuyun frowned—why did a three-ring Soul Grandmaster's skills seem weaker than a typical Soul Grandmaster's?

"Martial Soul, Possess!"

"First Soul Skill: Hell Rush Stab!"

Zhu Zhuqing blurred into motion, her claws shredding through Dai Mubai's barrier like paper.

"Second Soul Skill: Hell Hundred Claws!"

Though individually weaker than Hell Rush Stab, the rapid barrage of strikes chipped away at his defenses.

"Ting! Ting! Ting!"

"Gah!"

The barrier shattered. A final slash left a long, bloody gash across Dai Mubai's cheek.

"Spit."

"AHHH! My face! MY FACE!"

"Damn you! You're dead!"

Dai Mubai, who relied on his looks to charm women, was now disfigured. Enraged, he ignored the pain and seized Zhu Zhuqing's wrist mid-attack.

"Third Soul Skill: White Tiger Vajra Transformation!"

His third soul ring ignited. Even with his weakened martial soul, the boost from a thousand-year ring was undeniable.

Zhu Zhuqing tried to retreat, but his grip was ironclad.

"Go help your sister." Fu Ye's whisper brushed Zhu Zhuyun's ear as he released her.

Though her face still burned, she sprang into action.

"Martial Soul, Possess!"

"Third Soul Skill: Hell Decapitation!"

Unlike traditional agility skills, this mental attack dragged the target's consciousness into an illusion, disrupting their focus.

Dai Mubai's movements faltered, his pupils glazing over.

"First Soul Skill: Hell Rush Stab!"

Zhu Zhuyun's claw lashed out, forcing him to release Zhu Zhuqing. Still dazed, he barely registered the wound from her strike.

"Sister, you—"

Zhu Zhuqing stared in disbelief. Her sister, who'd always wished her dead, had just saved her.
