Chapter 75 - Chapter 75: Zhu Sisters Vs Dai Mubai II

Dai Mubai was originally a Attack system Soul Master, but his mental strength had never been particularly strong.

After Fu Ye stripped him of his martial soul essence and bloodline, he had spent nearly two years recuperating in the secular world.

Now, his mental resilience was pitifully weak—so much so that even Zhu Zhuyun's simple illusion had managed to ensnare him for an extended period.

"Hiss—"

When Dai Mubai finally regained his senses, his eyes were bloodshot. At this moment, all he wanted was to tear the person before him to pieces!

His physical condition was dire. Three deep gashes marred his face, and a bloody gash split his chest, staining his clothes crimson.

The twin sisters he had brought with him had long since fled in terror, leaving no trace behind.

As he glared at Zhu Zhuyun with the ferocity of a wild beast, she merely curled her lips in disdain. Meanwhile, Zhu Zhuqing felt a chill run down her spine at the sight of him.

She had never imagined that the man she had waited for over five years would degenerate into such a state. But now, none of that mattered to her anymore.

She had lost all hope in Dai Mubai. He had indulged in women, committed unspeakable acts, and made no effort to better himself. Worse still, his martial soul seemed to have deteriorated from his decadent lifestyle.

"Dai Mubai… do you really not recognize me?"

Zhu Zhuqing finally spoke, her voice cold. She wanted to settle things with him—once and for all.

"Who the hell are you?! I don't care! You dare lay a hand on my face?! I'll make sure you suffer a fate worse than death—slowly, painfully!"

His words extinguished any last shred of patience she had. But before she could respond, Zhu Zhuyun cut in.

"You're just as rotten as your elder brother—no, worse. At least he has some standards, preying on noble young ladies. But you? You wallow in the filth of brothels."

Her words struck Dai Mubai like a bolt of lightning, clearing the haze in his mind. His pupils shrank sharply as realization dawned.

"My… elder brother? No—how do you know about him?!"

His gaze darted between the two girls—one mature and composed, the other young and cold. Then, it hit him.

"You're Zhuqing! And you—Zhu Zhuyun!"

Fear flooded his eyes, but deep down, he still refused to accept it.

"No! Impossible! Why would Zhuqing be with you?! Why would the two of you be together?! This can't be real—it can't be!"

He thrashed like a madman, unwilling to acknowledge that the girl before him was his betrothed—or to face the consequences of his actions.

"Nothing is impossible, Dai Mubai. Do you even know what Zhuqing went through to get here? She risked her life."

Zhu Zhuyun stepped beside her sister, resting a hand on her shoulder as she stared down at Dai Mubai with mocking disdain.

"Risked her life?! No—that's a lie! If she was with you, how could she—"

Before he could finish, a voice—one he had hoped never to hear again—cut through the air.

"Young Master Dai, have you already forgotten the lesson I taught you two years ago? Or do your bones itch for another beating?"

Dai Mubai's entire body trembled as his gaze shifted behind the sisters. There, Fu Ye stood, a cold smile playing on his lips.

"Young master Dai of Suotuo City… we meet again."

Fu Ye had promised him the most brutal beating of his life. Today, he wouldn't just break his body—he would crush his spirit.

"F-Fu Ye?! No, no no no—Lord Fu! Master Fu! I-I didn't—I wasn't—"

His words dissolved into incoherent stammering before he finally collapsed to his knees.

"Thud!"

The sound of his knees hitting the floor echoed through the hall.

The lobby manager gaped in shock—Dai Mubai was a Soul Grandmaster! And yet, he was kneeling, trembling like a leaf. Just how terrifying was the man before him?

"Don't kneel so soon. We still have unfinished business. Today's the perfect day to settle it."

After all, Flender had only found this place because of Dai Mubai. Otherwise, he wouldn't have recognized Fu Ye as the one who had beaten Dai Mubai years ago.

"M-My Lord, I was wrong! I swear, I'll never—"

Fu Ye didn't let him finish. With a single kick, he sent Dai Mubai crashing into the wall.

"Boom!"

He crumpled to the ground like a broken doll, devoid of all hope.

Zhu Zhuqing and Zhu Zhuyun stared in shock. They hadn't expected this unassuming master to know Dai Mubai—let alone have such a history with him.

"First, you tried to take my sister and my disciple. I let you live. Now, you dare target my new apprentice? Give me one reason not to kill you."

Fu Ye's eyes were ice-cold. He couldn't fathom what kind of trash Shrek Academy was, allowing Dai Mubai to roam free, indulging in women the moment he recovered.

No wonder Shrek had operated for over twenty years, enrolling countless talented students, yet only fourteen had survived. They placed no restrictions on their students!

And their motto?

"Those who don't dare to cause trouble are mediocrities."

What a perfect slogan for courting death.

"I'll give you three seconds to think. After that, I'll kill you. Three."

Dai Mubai's mind blanked with terror. He was still young—he didn't want to die!

"Two."

"One."

"Time's up. I've given you two years to change. Since you refuse, death is your only option."

Fu Ye's soul power wrapped around Dai Mubai's throat, lifting him into the air. His face twisted in desperation—if he didn't act now, he was dead.

"I—I'll break off the engagement with Zhuqing! Here—!"

Somehow, he managed to pull out a small red booklet—emblazoned with five golden characters: "Star Luo Imperial Engagement Certificate."

Seeing this, Fu Ye loosened his grip slightly, allowing him to breathe.

"Smart. But escaping death doesn't mean escaping punishment."

With two precise kicks to his waist, Fu Ye ensured most of Dai Mubai's bodily functions were permanently destroyed.

Killing him now would be too merciful.

Dai Mubai slumped into the corner like a lifeless dog.

"Brother… Fu Ye…"

Zhu Zhuqing stared at the engagement certificate in her hands—the document that had bound her for six years—her voice trembling with disbelief.

"Don't call me brother anymore. From now on, call me Teacher."

Zhu Zhuyun smirked and chimed in.

"What about me? What do I call you?"

"You? Master will do. After all, you're just my little slave."
