Late at night, Zhu Zhuyun and Zhu Zhuqing lay side by side on the bed. It was the first time in six years they had shared a bed.
"Zhuqing… do you hate your sister?" Zhu Zhuyun asked, her expression conflicted.
"I do." Zhu Zhuqing answered without pretense.
Hearing her sister's blunt response, Zhu Zhuyun's face remained indifferent.
"Sigh… Hate me if you must. We are nothing but pawns of the Star Luo royal family—tools to be used for battle or pleasure."
As she spoke, a trace of helplessness flickered in her beautiful brown eyes.
Zhu Zhuqing, however, remained skeptical. Years of oppression at her sister's hands had left deep scars.
"Sister, the Star Luo royal family is not as harmonious as you think. Behind the scenes, there are constant power struggles. The reason I isolated you all these years wasn't out of malice—it was because of the pressure Davis put on me."
Zhu Zhuyun paused, then sat up, gazing at her sister intently.
"I don't expect your forgiveness. But you must understand—I never wanted to hurt you. If possible… I truly wish the martial spirit you awakened wasn't the Nether Spirit Cat."
With that, she rose and changed into one of the alluring outfits from the closet. Her figure was so striking that even the fabric couldn't conceal her beauty.
A cat's night vision was sharp. Zhu Zhuqing sat up as her sister dressed, but the sight of the revealing attire made her cheeks flush.
Once Zhu Zhuyun had chosen the most fitting ensemble, she sauntered over to her sister, noticing her shy expression.
"Sister… what are you planning?" Zhu Zhuqing finally spoke up.
Hearing her sister address her so familiarly, a gentle smile touched Zhu Zhuyun's lips.
"You're still young, Zhuqing. There are things you don't yet understand. As women, we must secure our own protectors. Right now, I'm merely a servant. If I don't play my part… I'll die."
She reached out, gently pinching her sister's cheek.
"Besides, I've never met a man who could kill a high-level Soul Emperor with a single sword—and one so handsome at that. You're still too young. Leave this task to me."
With a playful flick of her bright red sheet, Zhu Zhuyun leaped out the window, leaving Zhu Zhuqing in stunned silence.
"Sister, you—"
"Shh… don't make a fuss."
…
That night, Fu Ye lay in bed, gazing absently at the bright moon outside. No one could fathom the emotions swirling within him.
"Rustle—"
The window trembled. Instantly, Fu Ye's mental power swept the surroundings—only to pause in surprise when he sensed the intruder.
A stunning figure, draped in a crimson sheet, tiptoed toward him with feline grace.
Her charm was undeniable, but when Fu Ye fully registered her attire, a rush of heat threatened his composure. He swiftly sealed his nasal passages with soul power.
"Master… am I beautiful?"
Like a wildcat, Zhu Zhuyun pounced, relishing Fu Ye's momentarily stunned expression. A smug smirk curled her lips.
"You seem so calm. Is it because I'm not alluring enough?"
She swayed closer, each step deliberate, the moonlight casting a dreamlike haze around her.
Fu Ye merely smiled.
"Woman, do you realize you're playing with fire?"
"If I can ignite it… I can also extinguish it."

Fu Ye remained composed, but Zhu Zhuyun was in far less pristine condition—her face flushed, her breathing uneven.
Though she had initiated this, Fu Ye still cared for her well-being. After all, he was a gentleman—how could he be too rough with such a beauty?
"Well? Are you convinced now?"
Zhu Zhuyun lay limp, her fighting spirit thoroughly drained. Yet Fu Ye maintained his respect for this stubborn woman.
As the saying goes: The field may be worn from plowing, but the ox never dies from toil.
"I'm not convinced… If you're so capable, prove it yourself."
The system had already confirmed Zhu Zhuyun's maxed favorability, but Fu Ye kept the slave mark for amusement. Strangely, she seemed to enjoy it.
With a chuckle, Fu Ye retreated under the covers.
"Enough. Let's just… review the lesson a little more."
…
By noon, Fu Ye lounged comfortably in the luxurious carriage, though his eyes betrayed slight exhaustion.
Opposite him sat Zhu Zhuqing, her face burning red as she avoided looking at her sister or the man who had saved her life.
As a royal, her education in certain matters was far more rigorous than that of ordinary nobles. She knew exactly what had transpired the night before—the faint shadows under her eyes proof of her sleepless night.
Fu Ye could only offer a wry smile.
He had encountered many women—some more beautiful than Zhu Zhuyun—but none with a figure quite like hers.
Perhaps he had gone too far this time… but then again, she had been the stubborn one.
Thankfully, the carriage was draped in black cloth. Otherwise, this would have been very awkward.
