(Team Rocket continues to drive the submarine as they carry Blastoise and the mysterious Pokemon.)
(Jessie cheers.)
Jessie: "Success!"
James: "Success!"
(James cheers.)
Meowth: "You said it!"
(Meowth cheers and laughs.)
James: "That was as easy as picking shells off the sand!"
(James says.)
James: "And all I did was push a button!"
(James says.)
Meowth: "Now we can swipe all the Pokemon we want!"
(Meowth says with pride.)
James: "I'll snatch more Pokemon than anyone in the world!"
(James happily says.)
(Jessie says.)
Jessie: "So will I!"
Meowth: "Me too!"
(Meowth says.)
(Soon, something comes into Team Rocket's mind.)
Jessie: "I think there may be some confusion,"
(Jessie says.)
(Then Meowth says.)
Meowth: "Who's gonna get credit for swiping him?"
James: "I think we better clear this up. Don't you?"
(James says.)
(Jessie says.)
Jessie: "If you remember, I was the one who pushed the button, so I should get credit for capturing it!"
(But Meowth says.)
Meowth: "But before that, I put my nine lives on the line to grab Blastoise!"
Jessie: "I was the one who caught it,"
(Jessie says.)
(James yells.)
James: "What about me?!"
Meowth: "Ha! You couldn't catch a cold!"
(Meowth remarks.)
(Jessie and James smack Meowth to the floor.)
Jessie: "You stay out of this, Meowth!"
(Jessie shouts.)
James: "Pokemon aren't for Pokemon!"
(James says, and kicks Meowth to the wall.)
(The impact of Meowth slams to the wall.)
(causes the mysterious Pokemon head to stick out more to reveal blue color eyes, and begins to sing.)
(In the sub, the water is starting to leak in.)
(Hearing the sound, Jessie asks.)
Jessie: "What's that unusual sound?"
James: "Whatever it is, it's very…"
(James says.)
(The song continues to play as Meowth says.)
Meowth: "Relaxing."
(Soon enough, Team Rocket has fallen asleep and the submarine begins to sink to the bottom of the ocean.)
(Luckily, the Squirtle and Wartortle are able to find them.)
(They swim the submarine up and are able to save them, especially their king.)
(Soon after, Blastoise is back where it belongs.)
(Team Rocket is lying unconscious on the beach while Mew and the others perform a medical care.)
(to get the water out of their system.)
(Soon enough, Team Rocket regains consciousness.)
Mew: "Are you okay?"
(Mew asks.)
(Seeing who is with them, Team Rocket quickly stands up.)
(Jessie exclaims.)
Jessie: "What kind of trick are you pulling?!"
Misty: "Don't you give us attitude! We just saved your slimy lives!"
(Misty retaliates.)
Jessie: "I don't remember asking you to save our lives!"
(Jessie says.)
(Then James says.)
James: "Well, I'm grateful."
(Jessie then slaps James.)
Jessie: "They're our mortal enemies! How dare you be grateful they saved your life!"
Mew: "I kinda feel sorry for that guy,"
(Mew says.)
Tomo: "Especially the way she treats him,"
(Tomo agrees.)
(Jessie glares at the two.)
Jessie: "Who asked you?!"
(Jessie turns her head to see all the Squirtle and Wartortle protecting their king.)
(Mew's Squirtle says.)
Squirtle: "Squirtle!" (Get them!)
(Jessie quickly says.)
Jessie: "They're about to attack!"
James: "Let's get for the ship!"
(James says.)
Meowth: "Meowth!"
(Meowth says.)
(Team Rocket then retreats to the submarine.)
Brock: "Good! And don't come back!"
(Brock says.)
(In the submarine, James says.)
James: "Sorry to disappoint you, but we're not finished!"
Jessie: "In fact, we're just getting started,"
(Jessie adds.)
Meowth: "Hold on to your shells!"
(Meowth says, and presses a button.)
(Soon, the submarine activates treads on the bottom and mechanical arms from the top.)
(Team Rocket laughs to see they plan to get victory.)
Mew: "This doesn't look good,"
(Mew says.)
(In the sub, James says.)
James: "Let's put the pedal to the metal!"
Meowth: "Right!"
(Meowth says.)
Jessie: "Well, now we'll take that Blastoise!"
(Jessie says.)
(The submarine then charges towards Mew, her friends, and the Pokemon.)
(The Squirtles and Wartortle retaliate with Water Gun.)
(The group try their best to perform Water Run, but nothing is stopping them.)
(Misty panics.)
Misty: "They won't stop!"
(Meowth turns his head back.)
Meowth "Of course we won't. Why should we stop when we're having such a Blastoise?"
(Jessie then uses the mechanical arms to swing at the turtle Pokemons.)
(Many of the Squirtle and Wartortle back away.)
(Squirtle and the Wartortle from before refuse to back down.)
(Sadly, Team Rocket knocked them out of the way.)
(Pikachu panics.)
Pikachu: "Pika Pika!" (Squirtle!)
Eevee: "Eevee!" (Wartortle!)
(Eevee panics.)
Mew: "Squirtle, Wartortle, are you okay?"
(Mew asks, worried.)
(The two Pokemon struggle to get up while the residents of the island are being chased by Team Rocket.)
Brock: "We gotta do something to save them!"
(Brock says.)
(Mew runs to Blastoise and calls out.)
Mew: "Blastoise! Blastoise! The Pokemon need you, Blastoise! Please, wake up!"
(But nothing happens.)
Misty: "It's no use,"
(Misty says.)
(Then Mew has an idea.)
Mew: "Pikachu, Eevee, Squirtle, Wartortle get in there and use your attacks to wake Blastoise up."
(The Pokemon nod their heads agreeing to the idea.)
Mew: "Give it your best shot!"
(Mew says.)
(With that, Pikachu and Eevee perform Thunderbolt.)
(while Squirtle and Wartortle perform Water Gun.)
(The electricity travels through the Water Gun and the attacks strike at Blastoise.)
Brock: "Squirtle's Water Gun is carrying the electricity of Pikachu's Thunder Shock!"
(Brock says.)
Misty: "Please, wake up, Blastoise,"
(Misty says.)
(The Water Gun and the Thunderbolt continue to strike at Blastoise.)
(Soon, a mysterious Pokemon with a white face.)
(It has a blue gem on its forehead, green hair that is like a music sheet with blue ovals on it.)
(It also has a headpiece that is shaped like a treble clef, has two ribbon-like ends, and it looks like a microphone.)
(Mew gasps.)
Mew: "It's the Pokemon."
(Soon the attacks send the mysterious Pokemon out to reveal the rest of its body and send flying.)
(It has white arms and legs, a gray dress with a similar color stripe on its waist.)
(Misty gaps.)
Misty: "Someone save it!"
Tomo: "I got it!"
(Tomo says, and brings out his Pokeball.)
(Then throws it.)
Tomo: "Natu, catch that Pokemon with Psychic!"
(Tomo throws his Pokeball and Natu flies out.)
(Then it performs the Psychic Pokemon to catch the mysterious Pokemon.)
(Then gently flies it to Tomo's arms.)
(Then Natu rests on Tomo's head.)
Tomo: "Great job, Natu,"
(Tomo says.)
(With the double attacks, Blastoise manages to wake up.)
(Seeing that his subjects are in anger, Blastoise stops the submarine dead in its tracks, even begins to push it.)
Mew: "Just in time! Team Rocket's stopped dead in its tracks!"
(Mew says.)
Brock: "Blastoise is the bomb!"
(Brock says.)
(In the submarine, Jessie is not pleased.)
Jessie: "So you want to get tough, do you? Well, watch while we turn tough guys into turtle soup!"
(Jessie positions the mechanical arm to capture Blastoise.)
(but Blastoise grabs one of them.)
(allowing the sub to move up a bit.)
(Then Blastoise punches the mechanical arm right off, shocking Team Rocket.)
Mew: "Nice shot,"
(Mew says.)
Tomo: "Go go!"
(Tomo cheers.)
(With that, Squirtle, Wartortle join Blastoise.)
(Squirtle says.)
Squirtle: "Squirtle!" (Ready!)
Wartortle: "Wartortle!" (Steady!)
(Wartortle says.)
(Then Squirtle says.)
Squirtle: "Squirtle!" (Fire!)
(With that, all the Squirtle and Wartortle perform Water Gun, while Blastoise perform Hydro Pump.)
(In the submarine, Team Rocket is being rocked back and forth.)
Jessie: "This is like some horrible dream!"
(Jessie panics.)
James: "More like an awful nightmare!"
(James panics.)
Meowth: "Looks like Team Rocket is…"
(Meowth say.)
(Then all three scream.)
Team Rocket: "Splashing off again!"
(At the beach, everyone watches as the submarine splashes to the ground and a big explosion occurs.)
(After the event, The group sits on the sand.)
(while Tomo holds the mysterious Pokemon in his arms.)
(Soon, the Pokemon wakes up to reveal its blue color eyes.)
(She looks up and her vision clears to see Tomo.)
Meloetta: "Loet…" (huh…)
(The Pokemon says.)
(The Pokemon sun wakes up to see the sky, the sand, Mew and her friends.)
(Then Tomo The Pokemon turns to Tomo and smiles.)
(She then hugs Tomo and says.)
Meloetta: "Loetta! Meloetta Meloetta!" (You save me! Thank you Thank you!")
Mew: "She's thanking Tomo for saving her,"
(Mew says.)
Misty: "Well, it's a Team effort,"
(Misty says.)
Mew: "What kind of Pokemon is it?"
(Mew asks.)
(Brock looks at the Pokemon and says.)
Brock: "I think it's a Meloetta, it's a very extremely rare Pokemon."
Misty: "She looks very cute,"
(Misty says.)
Togepi: "Togepi," (Hello)
(Togepi happily says.)
(Mew then brings out the Pokedex.)
Mew: "Meloetta. She sure is pretty."
(Dexter says.)
Dexter: "Meloetta, the Melody Pokemon. Aria Forme. A Normal and Psychic Type. The melodies sung by Meloetta have the power to make Pokémon that hear them happy or sad. It can transform into another form called Pirouette Forme. A Normal and Fighting Type."
Mew: "So it was Meloetta who was singing inside Blastoise,"
(Mew says.)
Misty: "How did it get stuck in here?"
(Misty asks.)
Meloetta: "Meloetta Meloetta lotta loetta. Meloetta Meloetta Le le le loetta. Meloetta lo lo lo letta loetta. Mel Meloetta."
(Meloetta explains.)
(Tomo translates.)
Tomo: "Meloetta was on a ship, but fell overboard. The waves carried her away until she was stuck in Blastoise's cannon. And she tried singing to call for help and ended up using her singing attack."
Mew: "That must have been awful being stuck in there,"
(Mew says.)
(Meloetta nods her head.)
(Then her stomach begins to growl, and Meloetta feels rather faint.)
(Misty worriedly says.)
Misty: "She must be hungry."
Brock: "Don't worry, I have just the thing,"
(Brock says.)
(Brock fixes up some Pokemon food.)
(and cuts up some Oran Berries and Siturs berries so Meloetta can get her strength.)
(Meloetta eats the food and loves it.)
Mew: "Meloetta is feeling better now,"
(Mew says.)
Misty: "An is enjoying the food,"
(Misty says.)
(Soon, Meloetta finishes the food.)
(Then flies to Tomo and hugs him.)
(Mew giggles.)
Mew: "I think Meloetta really likes you, Tomo."
Tomo: "Me too,"
(Tomo says.)
(Then turns to Meloetta and asks.)
Tomo: "Hey Meloetta, you want to come with us?"
(Meloetta tilts her head with confused expression.)
Tomo: "You can travel with me, Mew, and my friends. We can have lots of fun and adventures together,"
(Tomo says.)
(Meloetta smiles and nods her head.)
Tomo: "I promise to take care of you, Meloetta,"
(Tomo says, and taps her with a Pokeball.)
(Meloetta goes inside and shakes a bit.)
(Then it clicks, meaning Meloetta is caught.)
(Then Meloetta comes out and hugs Tomo.)
Mew: "I think Meloetta prefers to be out of the Pokeball,"
(Mew says.)
(Suddenly, Wartortle taps on Mew's leg and takes out Mew's Pokeball.)
(Mew asks.)
Mew: "You want to come with me, too."
Wartortle: "Wartortle," (Sure do.)
(Wartortle answers.)
Mew: "Okay Wartortle, you can come alone,"
(Mew says.)
(Wartortle happily taps the Pokeball and goes inside.)
(A few shakes and a click and Wartortle is in the Pokeball.)
(After saying goodbye to the Turtle Pokemon of the island.)
(The water Pokemon pulls the boat as the group waves goodbye.)
(After the adventure of waking Blastoise.)
(Mew and her friends ride off to the sea to get to the mainland to reach Viridian City.)
(Of course, they have two new friends: Wartortle and Meloetta.)
(Meanwhile, somewhere out in the ocean.)
(Team Rocket is floating on the wreckage of their demolished submarine.)
(They all glare and point at each other.)
Everyone: "This was all your fault!"
(Then begin to sulk.)
James: "I'm sick of getting all this humiliation,"
(James says.)
Jessie: "I'm getting sick of always losing,"
(Jessie adds.)
(And Meowth says.)
Meowth: "And I'm getting seasick."
(Soon, Team Rocket says together.)
Team Rocket: "Looks like Team Rocket's drifting off again."
